If you want to have a BEAUTIFUL, relaxing experience then Jen is your hairdresser! Recently, I had the express color done to cover my gray. I LOVE it. I went with my natural dark brown color and of course, she nailed it. I LOVE her working space too. It's really zen. It reflects Jen. She's so kind and awesome. She listens. She cares. I have curly hair. She's great with curly hair too. THANK YOU Jen! :-)) read more

I've been seeing Jen for years- she does an incredible job and is a lovely human to boot. The cuts and color I get from her grow out so well that I am able to stretch the time between appointments much longer than what I normally would have. I am also not great at styling my hair myself but it still looks good with a fast tussle and one product because she has cut it so well. Highly recommend! read more

I love Jen! She's a fabulous hairdresser and takes great care of her clients! Grateful to have found her! read more

I have been going to Jen for many years and she is just incredible! I would highly recommend her to anyone. My cuts and highlights are always so beautifully done and even better, they grow out really lovely so my hair still looks great even when it's time for another cut. I first started going to her for her skill in cutting shags and curtain bangs but she also has such a skill in color matching and beautiful natural looking highlights (this coming from a natural redhead). Her studio in Glendora is so adorable and in such a beautiful neighborhood. Her website is easy to use and her prices are fair and include tip, which I think takes so much stress out of the salon experience. She only uses organic products and they always feel and smell wonderful in your hair. She is so lovely and it's been a joy to get to know her over the years. And if you see her at her Glendora location, you might get to meet some of her furry assistants and give them some belly rubs. read more

Jen is the best! So talented and really listens to you and what you're looking to achieve. Also, her cuts and color really last and look great for months! read more

I love getting my hair styled with Jen. My face is her Glendora location. It is a small oasis to get styled and leave feeling fabulous. There are a couple things that stand out. First, parking is free, safe and plentiful in Glendora. Second, Jennifer takes in your hairs natural tendency and works with that when you leave, you can style your hair with ease. Because my hair gets curly with humidity, the styles she has given me hold up in any condition. Third is sustainability. Jennifer uses sustainable products and recycles. Generations will not be dealing with toxic chemicals fir my own vanity. Fourth, Jennifer is a small business owner and support others small businesses in her industry. I'm not interested in supporting a big corporation and will support small businesses when possible. Mostly you will be getting quality styles when you visit Naked Eye Beauty with a true artist who listens to your condition and lifestyle. read more

After dying (and frying) my own hair for the past year, I went to see Jen for a gray-blend color and cut. The cut and color were both exactly what I wanted, and my hair has felt and looked way healthier since seeing her. Her studio is in the cutest area, and she's super organized in the way she provides info on product suggestions. She also sent a really helpful follow-up email. She uses clean products and her salon is very low waste. All things I really appreciate and value. I'm so excited to have discovered her! read more

Jen is pure magic! If you want a stylist who not only gives an incredible haircut but also nurtures your spirit, Jen is the one. Her attention to detail is unmatched--she truly listens to what you want (and don't want!) and works with your natural texture. Her signature razor cut transformed my self-inflicted bob chop into something soft, effortless, and beautiful. I've trusted her ever since! Beyond her skill, Jen is warm, down-to-earth, and has this big-sister/earth-mama energy that makes every visit feel like a cozy tea date with a dear friend. You leave not just with great hair but feeling nourished. Her salon, Naked Eye Beauty, is a reflection of her: warm, inviting, feminine, and earthy. Plus, she only uses low-tox, organic products that smell absolutely amazing. If you want a stylist who just gets it--Jen is the one. Do yourself (and your hair) a favor and book with her! read more

I changed up my look with thanks to Jen. I had been thinking about it for a while. She did a great job and my hair looks better than ever.

Jen is amazing! I found out about her through social media when looking for a shag specialist. I have now had two shag haircuts with her and have loved them. She really understands your vision. Jen is really kind and has an inclusive cute space. She always answers all my questions and provides tips. I drive to her from the valley, she is so worth the drive! read more

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this lovely wonderful human being. She is an incredible colorist and stylist and just a very lovely soul and my hair always looks like a million bucks because of Jennifer. read more

Jennifer is really great! I've had a really hard time finding someone to work with my super curly, dry and graying hair! She understood and worked with my hair to make it feel like new (a lot of split ends, stringy, frizzy and unmanageable). Feels like hair should feel, soft and natural. Thank you Jennifer! I will be back! read more

Jen is amazing! I moved to LA two years ago and had some mediocre cuts before I found Jen. I got my second cut from her in January, we're here in self-isolation in July, and my hair still has a shape!! My hair is dense, thick, and a 2A-2B wavy pattern but with a razor shag cut from Jen it is so light and my curls come out and shine! I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. Jen uses natural products and offers great tips on styling. She has a wonderful energy and gives a wonderful haircut. I can't wait for restrictions to be lifted so I can go and get my next haircut with her! read more

Jennifer Alden - I'm in love with my Beautiful Highlights by Jen! - Hair Stylists Near Me

Jen is just wonderful - best hairstylist I've experienced. I have fine, curly hair and have had difficulty finding someone who really gets it and knows how to work with the shape. Enter Jen! She's thoughtful, artistic, stylish, and skilled, and has given me and my friends the dreamiest cut every time I've visited her. My curls tend to get heavy, and in the past my haircuts have grown out awkwardly, but with Jen's cuts my hair grows out beautifully and is super easy to maintain. She's given me awesome tips for styling and has helped me expand into different hair styles as well, which I've always been too chicken to do, and has been so kind and gracious when I've asked for new styles. I recommend her to all my friends (especially my curly-haired friends) and to anyone looking for a talented hair artist in LA. read more

I was lucky enough to stumble upon Jen by chance, probably about 7 or 8 years ago. I needed a place to go get my hair cut that was close to the hospital I work at. Lucky for me, Jen worked at Primrose salon, which was literally 50 feet away from my hospital. Although that salon is no longer there, I have followed Jen ever since. Her cuts are amazing, and I love the products she uses. And she is so personable and lovely to talk to, I love being able to catch up with her while getting a great cut. read more

Jen has colored my hair for 4 years and she is just amazing. Abd her products and color are so gentle which is perfect for my sensitive hair and skin! I've also used her for hair and makeup on photoshoots! She is very creative and talented! She also has a calm and mellow vibe that is just a pleasure to be around! She is A+++++ read more

I LOVE going to Jennifer for my hair! Both my husband and I have been a regular clients of hers for years, most recently at Primrose Salon. Jen had many glowing reviews on their Yelp, but they have since closed the salon. I found this Yelp profile and just had to leave her another glowing review here to spread the word of how incredible she is! I can't recommend her highly enough- I even trusted her enough to do my hair for my wedding and reception party. She blew me away with her attention to detail, and overall love and care that she puts into her work. Also- Jen is one of the ONLY organic hairdressers that I have found in Los Angeles. She doesn't use toxic products (for example, her hair dyes are ammonia free, etc) and she makes a lot of amazing products herself, that I love- such as an amazing organic hair oil blend. Smells incredible and it's healthy for my hair! I love knowing that I will get an amazing hair cut and color from Jen, and also that it won't be toxic to me, or the environment! Thank you Jen, I am so grateful to have found someone to take care of my hair! Basically, just go to her...once you get your hair done by Jen, you won't want to go to anyone else! read more

I've been seeing Jen for over 4 years, the first time being days before my wedding. And so grateful! My hair looked fabulous for the big day. Her products are wonderful too - eco friendly and cruelty free - and the environment she creates in her studio is always welcoming and relaxing. Highly recommend! read more

Jennifer is my new 'go to' girl -- best in class for organic hair care! Skip the chemical damage ... Jennifer will make you a believer in organics. Great talent and inspired style. Oh, and a winning personality too. Highly recommended!! read more

I really cannot say enough glowing words about Jen and Naked Eye Beauty. I found her through my original hairstylist, Lesley, who is now joining Jen in her studio to split the time there. Both of them are incredible. It's so nice knowing that I won't be smelling toxic chemicals and feeling nauseous for days after my color is done. All the products that they use are completely organic, non-toxic, smell great, and make my hair feel wonderful and healthy. My hair has never looked or felt better. I love the way that both of them cut and style hair. They also have a recycling program which donates all of the clipped hair and discarded waste products to an organization that makes useful things out of them. They are both the loveliest, most beautiful sweet people, and make you feel right at home, with a delicious healing herbal tea blend that Jen made herself! read more

Jenn is amazing! I came in today not knowing what i'd do with my hair. Haven't touched it for 2 years and was so ready for change. The only direction I gave her was what I didn't want... and she ACED it! I will not wait another 2 years before visiting this gem. She made the expeirence so fun and easy. So excited to rock this new hair. Thank you for making this mama feel like herself again. I would recommend Jenn over and over again!! Love her! read more

I used to admire one of my friends hair so much that I finally decided to go see the stylist she saw. Lucky me.....I found Jennifer and I couldn't have been happier!! She has this magical way of giving you a natural look that also pops with style, shine and beauty. I always leave her salon feeling so pretty! I trust her and know that she is always guiding me to make choices that will help me reach my hair goals. I have been growing my hair out for a while now and I appreciate her conservative trims to help it grow but never left me feeling like she chopped off all my progress. Not only is she an incredible stylist and sweet person but she also makes amazing makeup and skin care products. I am obsessed with her rose tinted lip balm!! I have gotten so many comments on how great my hair looks since I started going to her which is huge for me since I've never been so great at styling my hair. She is amazing. I highly recommend her!! read more

Jen is amazing - and I'm a Leo who is very invested in her hair! I have been coming to Jen for at least 2 years. She has a warm, accessible and calming presence, which I feel is key to having a positive hair experience. She takes the time to listen and understand my needs and desires but also isn't afraid to share her opinion based upon what is realistic and will best suit me. She is on time and never makes me feel rushed even if my timing was off. Jen also has the wonderful ability to do an amazing job in 1/2 the time of many hairdressers. Now for the hair!! First and foremost, I LOVE that she uses organic and gentle products. She is gifted as a colorist AND does a fantastic cut including bangs. I have base color, highlights and gray and she can do it all and find beautiful warm natural but interesting color. I'm a bang girl and a particular one and Jen understands the style nuances of bangsas well. A true find. Love her, love my hair! read more

I came to Jennifer because traditional color systems were starting to give me a rash. I've never had any such issues with Jen's organic hair color products. My color looks great - I get compliments on it - and the color stays on well. I also get compliments on my haircuts from her. Bonus that Jen is also kind and fun to be around. I recommend her highly! read more

I came to Jennifer by chance. My hair was a mess and she really helped bring it back to life. It's not always easy changing up hair dressers but I trust Jennifer 100%. She has been nothing but kind and welcoming from the beginning and now she is the only person I trust to come near my hair. Her attention to detail as well as keeping your comments and suggestions at heart is what puts her above the rest. She has always been willing to help me with any hair issues I've come across and her standard of customer service doesn't stop once you leave her shop. She is a brilliant light and I can't see myself going anywhere else. read more
