I absolutely loved my haircut! Ashley is an amazing hairstylist and a true professional. She is kind, friendly, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. She does beautiful work and clearly takes pride in what she does. This was my first appointment with her, and I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a great hairstylist. She is by far the best hairstylist I've ever met, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! read more

I had the absolute best experience with Ashley! This was my first time seeing her, and from the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. I honestly told her to do whatever she thought was best because I had already seen her amazing work on social media and knew I could trust her and she did not disappoint! She walked me through every step, explained what she was doing and why, and made sure I felt confident and informed the whole time. It felt less like an appointment and more like spending time with a big sister who genuinely cared about me looking and feeling my best. She's incredibly talented, sweet, and professional, and it's so clear she loves what she does. I left feeling amazing and already looking forward to coming back. Thank you so much Ashley! read more

Ashley Jade did such a great job with my hair. She is so talented and really listened and asked great questions to zero in on what I wanted. I am so happy with the results. She did a full balayage and root melt and gave me a really great haircut. My hair looks amazing and I know it's going to grow out beautifully which, as a toddler mom means the world to me because I don't have as much time for my hair as I wish I did. She was so easy to communicate with during the booking process and is a really fun, kind person and easy to talk to which made our time together so great. Her space is so well designed and relaxing and super conveniently located on south Lake in the Macys complex with free parking! I am so happy I found her. read more

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Ashley Jade for hair cut and color consultation. She took the time to listen to my hopes and ideas for my hair, and together we formulated a beautiful way forward. Today, she started the process of transformation by reshaping my previous cut to match my features, recommended products, and plan for updating color. I look forward to continuing our relationship, as my hair becomes healthier and more beautiful. She is a truly gifted artist, and a great communicator. Thank you so much! Bonnie Kerr read more

I came to Ashley with a bit of a project. My hair was super damaged and the underneath layers were orange. Ashley managed to bring me back to the cool blonde tone I had been looking for and since seeing her my hair has become significantly more healthy. Can't recommend her services enough! Ashley has been doing my hair for almost 2 years now and she's AMAZING. She puts so much time and effort into making sure she executes what I am asking for. She has transformed my hair into the healthiest, prettiest it's ever been and I get so many compliments after leaving the salon. I recently experienced hair loss from stress and Ashley spent several appointments with me being incredibly gentle on my hair, giving me tips and advice on how to slow the fallout and also encourage new growth. Telling me what products to use and what to stay away from, she's so knowledgeable and shares that knowledge with her clients. I've never had a hairstylist make me feel so cared for. Her service goes far beyond the 2+ hours I sit in her chair, it's very apparent how much she cares about her clients and how they feel. She truly is the best and I'm so lucky to have found her!! read more

I was working in the area of Pasadena and really needed a haircut for my weekend vacation and came across Ashley on yelp. I must say, that girls got some skills! She was soo kind and warm hearted. Very welcoming, she gave me a few options of how I wanted my haircut to be done and really executed her craft! Everything about her was amazing, I will definitely be coming back for more cuts from her anytime I'm in the area again. Let's just say she made my super fly for my vacation :) a lot of haircuts can be boring but her whole vibe made it interesting and enjoyable. Lot's of laughters :) It just shows that she's professional and how dedicated she is to her craft and making sure her clients walk out with a smile and a fresh cut :) She will make you as fly as she did for me. Thank you Ashley you rock!! read more

Ashley is amazing and I am so happy to have found her! I tend to wait way too long between appointments and she always gives my hair the refresh it desperately needs. I have thick hair that tends to weigh down and she does such an amazing job of lighting it up with layers while still keeping it low maintenance for me. On top of that she is extremely kind and personable. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

I am SO glad I found Ashley. I came in with dry damaged bleached hair and she cared SO much about the health of my hair. I've never been to a hair stylist before who was so concerned about my hair health and actually cared who wanted to help get my hair to a healthy state and help me grow it. We slowly started getting my hair a bit darker and finally Ashley got me back to a BEAUTIFUL brunette! AND my hairs never been healthier! I'm always so obsessed with my hair and have a huge confidence boost after i walk out of the salon! She is AMAZING!!!!!!! read more

Ashley has transformed my hair with her skillful art of hair coloring and cutting! She takes the time to understand my hair concerns and will recommend products custom to my needs. On top of the gorgeous hair you receive, Ashley is the sweetest and most attentive person you will meet. I have followed her from her previous salon and love her new welcoming space. No words can describe the work Ashley Jade does in the world of hair and make-up. I always believed that barber shops do men's hair better, but damn did she prove me wrong. I know she mostly specializes in women's haircuts and haircolors now, but when she is able to get me in for a nice fade, she delivers exactly as I asked. I wish my hair grew faster so I could see her more often. But till then, I look forward to seeing her again. 5/5 would recommend. read more

Saw Ashley for a ladies haircut. It was not a very good haircut. Went back to another hairdresser at Sola Salons Pasadena only a few weeks later to get a re-cut which was drastically better and just reinforced that it was a mediocre haircut. Not at all worth the price. read more

Okay sooo I was on the hunt to find a new hair stylist, I came across her profile on Vagaro and instantly felt the urge to book with her. I came into the salon and chit chatted about what I was aiming to do with my hair and she absolutely nailed it. I really like how she didn't just do what I asked for, yet she let me know what would look better. I was scared going to a new stylist but she made me feel so comfortable and she is extremely funny & sweet!! Safe to say she's my new stylist! (: read more

Ashley blessed my hair!! I knew I had been botched but not that bad until she showed me how the previous stylist did me dirty. Ashley took her time with me during our consult and I never felt rushed. We discussed what I wanted vs what was achievable for my hair. It came out fantastic! she was gentle with me and my neck wasn't hurting from the foils. Overall it was a great experience and I'll be seeing her again every four months! read more

Ashley works magic on hair and makeup! I hired her for my rebrand photoshoot and we did a haircut, style and makeup. My hair kept its style for 8+ hours and my makeup stayed put too (just retouched my lipstick). The final look had me feeling like a glam yet still "me" version of myself. Great conversation during our hours together and she was super attentive to bringing my vision to life while adding her artistic expertise when I was less clear on what to ask for. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, recommended! read more

I am in awe of her with each visit -- from her hair care tips, to product recommendations, to her sheer talent and hard work, she truly is the best. After our first consultation she was able to help brighten up my hair while helping to keep it healthy. When I came back a few months later I decided to go more bronde and I'm absolutely obsessed. I found Ashley Jade through Yelp when I was looking for a new hair stylist in Pasadena as I was traveling over an hour to my prior one and was unable to make the drive anymore. Ashley not only had amazing reviews from her clients but I could tell by looking at her photo, Ashley was caring and an educated artist. I booked my appointment with Ashley through Salon Xia and was pleasantly surprised again when walking into the salon. The salon itself is very modern yet cozy, clean and really liked all the elements it encompassed. When I met Ashley, she really took the time to understand why I was there and the state of my hair. I was really embarrassed of my hair as I was coloring my own roots for months because I was suffering from hair loss as well as pre-menopause so my hair was not the same as it once was. Ashley made me feel comfortable from the moment we spoke and came up with a plan together through a few sessions. Ashley was able to take my dry/damaged hair to a more healthy condition and also gave me an amazing haircut. Today, Ashley did balayage (my hair was pretty much black to start with) and it looks amazing!!!! Finally after several other hairdressers, no one has ever made my hair look so natural and beautiful. Not only is Ashley so talented, she really cares about her clients and I would recommend her to family, friends and anyone that is reading this review. Thank you Ashley. read more

Ashley is soooooo bomb!! Went in a month ago for a balayage, and the results were amazing! Studio is super homey and overall such a better experience than going into a salon environment. She is suppeerrr funny and remembers the little details on what you like! Went in again today for a trim I DESPERATELY needed with no pictures or particular style that I wanted, but she made sure to keep my length she knows I love, as well as layered it again since the place I went to last had made it uneven. Definitely my stylist forever now Lol! I will be back read more

Ashley used to be my regular stylist in Edmonton before she made her move to California. I cannot stress enough how much anxiety I had after she left because I knew I wouldn't be able to count on another stylist to bring my hair goals to life. When you hire Ashley to provide a service, you are investing in a collaborative experience that is executed with YOUR DESIRES in mind - you aren't a walking paycheque to her. I highly recommend seeing Ashley if you're looking for a comfortable, home salon that will make your hair dreams come true. read more

Came to Ashley's home studio as a first-timer to get my makeup done for prom, and I was simply blown away by the great service and hospitality she provided. First of all, the studio looked clean and well-organized, and you could tell that a lot of work was put into decorating it. During my service, she offered to charge my phone and put on a show of my choice on TV - something I've never been able to do at any other salon. Ashley was very professional throughout my entire visit and made sure that the makeup look she created for me was exactly what I wanted. She was very patient with me considering this was my first time getting my makeup done. I ended up leaving satisfied with picture-perfect makeup. You can tell how much she cares about each and every one of her clients. I will definitely be coming back to her studio to get my makeup done for future events! read more
