I would not recommend using this company. A tree damaged my home from the wind storm we had in March, and working with my project manager Ed (no longer there) was a terrible experience. It took him more than 3 weeks after his initial visit to give me an estimate, then another 2 months to start on the repairs. Communication was horrible, a bunch of false promises, no committment to customer service. Once starting repairs to siding of home is when I realized atleast the quality of work is good. Then another month passed to start on the next repair, it was like pulling teeth to get a response for a date, time, anything. Anywho, Ryan took over as project manager in July and helped wrap everything up in about a month. Thank you Ryan. A tree fell on my roof. The insurance company sent them out to put on a temporary tarp. The first time it was fine. But then they had to come out to cover missed areas and the person was insulting saying things about my house being old and he didn't want to tarp the additional areas of the roof that were leaking. If I could rate them lower I would. My roommate and I have been trying to get in contact with them for months. Said and STRESSED if we moved out AS SOON AS POSSIBLE then they would get started and the restoration would be done by the end of the year. Four weeks later and not only was the company unresponsive to my roommate about what was happening for two weeks, but I'm daring to bet the timeline was a lie. This was extremely stressful as it is my senior year of college and I am unable to be at home until everything is taken care of. I have student teaching in the last half of the semester so I have to be in Richmond. I'm warning you, do not let any insurance agency stick you with this company if you can help it. Find someone else. They will be very kind at first, and to be fair they have not been rude, but they have been ineffective and failed at communication with my roommate and I. I'm disappointed, extremely angry, and feel lied to, and I'm glad my landlord's insurance broke it off with Jenkins so we can work with someone more effective, and probably would have finished much sooner if they had been picked first. the worse company ever, I would not let them build birdhouse for me. I own a building and a car ran into a wall. The scope all work required redoing stopcock outside, and revealing the wall inside as well as replacing the window. They put in a wrong size window twice, try to tell me that putting up drywall then drying it with a heat gun and painting it the same day is a standard normal. Had to hire another company to do internal work appropriately and Jenkins had the gall to complain that the had to wait to finish the rest of the work. Also, they told me that complete 90% of the work is just the same as completing all of the work, had to clean up trash after them. Stay away, staying away, staying away. if I could give negative 5 stars I would. read more

Things started off ok with them coming out to give us an estimate as we had a major house fire, lost the whole house and our poor dog didn't survive her injuries. The estimate was supposed to take no more than two weeks, which I thought was long to begin with but I waited. After the two weeks and no estimate I called and Jeremey told me he would have it to me by Friday that week. That came and went. I called the following week and was told Jeremy was on vacation and he was the only one who could get me the estimate. More waiting. Finally talked to Jeremy and he promised me the estimate would be sent by someone else bc he was going to be out of town, again. When I called to see why I hadn't gotten the estimate no one knew what I was talking about. When I finally did get an estimate after weeks of waiting and in talks of hiring Jenkins against my better judgment but more out of desperation to get my house back I come to find out there was about $25k written into the estimate of complete nonsense! Clean supplies? Rubber Gloves?, etc. My house is burnt to the point that they are going to rip it down to the studs and he's estimating cleaning supplies? and a bunch of other nonsense technical things that was caught my public adjuster. So long story short after wasting 6+ weeks of my time where I could have finding another company Jeremy sends me an email declining the job and behind my back told my public adjust that I "had an attitude". Um, well, my house has been sitting boarded up for 7 months! My dog died, my kids are devastated and you have just wasted 6+ weeks of my time that I had to keep calling for an estimate that was promised to me in two weeks. So yes I may have had an attitude my last phone call, who wouldn't at this point? Jenkins was supposed to work with me not give me the run around. They made a horrible situation so much more frustrating. All in all THIS IS AN AWFUL COMPANY! AWFUL COMMUNICATION, NO ONE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON AND THEY ARE NOT HONEST PEOPLE. We had a large flood three years ago (August) that went down three levels of my home. Three bathrooms, flooring, cabinets in kitchen etc including mold remediation had to be done. Throughout the process usaa was called out to manage several problems..such as painting the walls without laying down drop cloths and then getting paint all over my new floors. When we were piecing back together the downstairs bathroom I was told that the wax ring was cracked and needed to be replaced. I bought the supplies and they said they replaced it before placing toilet back down. Well bring us to present day three years later and I just had to have more dry wall ripped out bc the ring was cracked on two places!!!! Needless to say I am not happy with their work. Next time I'm using my own contractors...not the ones that are recommended to me by my insurance company. read more

Being a veteran and having USA insurance is and has always been a blessing for my family. So when we had water damage in our master bathroom that damaged our kitchen, I wasn't concerned because my insurance company is the best IMO. They recommend Jenkins to do the repairs and I took their advice. My project manager Rob was awesome, he worked around my schedule and kept me in the loop as to details about my repairs. Rob was very professional and and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work done in my home. My contractor Jerson and his guys are excellent. The work that they performed was excellent. Jerson is a class act, who did extra work and attention to detail touch work that was outstanding. He kept in touch with me and kept his word about each work day that he scheduled. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work that we was done in our home, and without hesitation we would recommend them to anyone that needs their services! read more

Rip off specialists! BEWARE! First, the works was inferior. Their first three-day shot at a ceiling repair was so bad it had to totally redone. All work took FAR longer than estimated. I was so sick of them by the end that I let them go with a couple of things unfinished---just less hassle to do it myself. We handed them the "last" check and they left. Then, weeks later they billed us another $946. I argued that we at least needed credit for the work they didn't complete, but they don't care. They're going to sue us, put a lien against the house and report against our credit. My dear wife is so frightened, she's going to pay them money we don't owe them. Out of fear! read more

We used Jenkins Restoration because they were referred by my Home Owners Insurance company. I would not use them, nor recommend them to anyone. Substandard work and extremely poor communication between project manager when trying to contact to address concerns. Very disappointing experience. We did file a grievance with our insurance company, luckily we documented the shoddy work with photos and saved all communication attempts, I.e. Emails, texts. read more

Terrible company. I made the mistake of using them when we had a major flood in our house. Project manager was not knowledgeable of the work being done and did not communicate well with his team of contractors who did the actual work. Four years later after initial work was done we notice that the drywall and patching is basically coming "undone" and well have to fix it ourselves since Jenkins only offers 3 year warranty on labor. Had them come out to look at damage and told me they would get back to me. It's been a month and no response. Terrible company. NEVER use them!!!! read more

Our insurance company recommended Jenkins for the insurance work that was being done. Jenkins had one of their project managers at our house to look over everything with the insurance adjuster. Mold/water remediation was completed by another company. We lived for 6 weeks with a 4'x8' hole in the floor looking into the basement. Yes it took them 6 weeks to get someone out to make our kitchen safe to walk in. The project manager was at our house 4 maybe 5 times. The first time was to meet and sign the paperwork that we would use them, once to introduce us to his sub contractor that would do the work and take measurements, once to do final walk through of the siding, once to do final walk through and maybe 1 other time. This was a project that due to other issues with his subs to include Reico kitchen and Bath, took almost 9 months to fully complete. 4.5 months of that the PM should have been at our house for stuff. I managed most of the project myself. The PM had me deal directly with the siding folks (who were awesome) and scheduling the other subs. I just did it because it got to a point where it was just easier, even though Jenkins was taking their cut. The cabinets came in wrong, when I called the PM he said...it will just be easier if you deal with Reico directly. Basically he didn't want to bother. At the end of the project, after being told the whole way through that we were good on budget (my wife wanted to upgrade some stuff and we paid for stuff out of pocket) the PM claimed we were $2200 over budget and that didn't include work that there was money for that was never done. We didn't have anything done in the basement because all of a sudden we were over budget. I asked for numbers on where money was spent. He couldn't provide that. I talked to the PM's manager who basically blew me off until I contacted Jeremy Jenkins. Their office was supposed to take care of all the paperwork with the mortgage company. They screwed that up too. I ended up having to deal with it. Luckily my mortgage company was very understanding of what happened and was super easy to deal with. In the end the area manager couldn't figure out what numbers where, couldn't provide anything showing where money was spent and how much. They finally sent us a check for the money that wasn't spent (or at least they couldn't figure out where it was or wasn't spent). Be careful when being billed and ask for all numbers and DO NOT give them any money until they provide them. They wanted me to write a check for the $2200 but I wouldn't without the numbers. Then they submitted a supplemental to my insurance company and never told me about it. Of course I found out cause I needed to sign the check. I looked over the paperwork and one of the things they wanted me to pay for was listed on the supplemental (twice). Unless you are doing an insurance job and they require a general contractor to manage the project do it yourself or find someone else. Save the money by not having a GC take their cut. read more

So far, so good. We had a small "flood" and our insurance USAA referred these guys. We're on day 2, 3 days after the "flood" and nothing but great things so far. Ricardo came out yesterday and then came back to pull up some of the flooring. Richard came out today to go through and take measurements and get an estimate set up. Hopefully the goodness continues to come our way. If anyone happens to get these 2 guys you're in luck. They are the most polite people ever. *will come back for another review after the job is finished.* My final review. We had a flood and Jenkins Restorations was sent to us by our insurance company. Just a few awesome things. 1) Richardo came out and did the original assessment for the actual water damage. He was amazing. He went over everything that he was doing and did a very thorough job with making sure that everything got dried up quickly. 2) Richard came and actually assessed the main damage and even noticed damage we hadn't noticed. He kept in touch with us throughout the entire process and answered any and all questions we had in a very fast manner. 3) The guys who came out to actually do the renovation, Nelson and his crew, they went above and beyond expectations. The time frame for the job was like 2 weeks but they finished in a little over a week. The house looks great and everything was done correctly and then some. If they had questions they asked us and they were so polite and on top of things. The actual flood was so stressful but these guys made everything so much better. They did absolutely amazing. If anyone is need of something being done I definitely recommend this company. We are so thankful for them and the job they did. read more

Terrible craftsmanship, worse follow up, over charged us, locked our dog up in the basement with no lights and water for a full day, workers used bathroom and didn't clean up after themselves, does not stand behind warranty, had to pay another company to come in and fix their mistakes. Jenkins passes itself off as being a highly professional outfit that does quality work, but I found them to be an assortment of handymen with varying levels of skill. I had a small kitchen fire requiring tiling, cabinet, and countertop work in that room and repainting from smoke damage in the living and dining area. I picked Jenkins because my insurer used them for the estimate. They presented me with the most one-sided contract I'd ever seen (e.g., you waive a right to a jury trial in case of a dispute). I went along because the insurance was paying most of it and it was a small job (less than $20,000). The painters were the biggest problem. The supervisor brought two young men who didn't speak English and left them alone during the day, leaving me no way to effectively communicate with them. The work was sloppy. There were paint drips on the wood trim and floor and a paint smudge on a light switch. They did not attempt to clean up any of this. In a hurry to get done, they painted cabinet doors shut, so that when I opened them, paint chipped off. The front door looks to be thinly painted with one coat, instead of the contract required two. They painted over picture hangers, instead of moving them aside or asking me to remove them, "gluing" them to the wall. The super removed them when I insisted, but that left gouges that had to be plastered. I had several hundred books on shelves in the living room. Before the work started, I told the super I would remove them and put them in another room to keep them in order, which is important when you have that many books. He said they would take care of it and put every book back in its exact place. He even took photographs of the books. But then, when the painting was done, he let his two painters do it, and if they couldn't speak English, they couldn't read it, either. The books were all out of order, some were upside down, and others were just stacked on their sides. In the kitchen, the super recommended I buy a new sink, which I did. I was ready to get a plumber to hook up my garbage disposal to the new sink, but they insisted they could do it. The next day, the disposal was leaking. My plumber showed me where they had chipped the disposal while trying to hook it up. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a new one for my plumber to install. The Jenkins men never restacked dishes dishes and glassware on shelves as they had promised to do, and didn't come back to fix a small break in the countertop as they had promised. They left a mess on the floor that I had to clean up. The Jenkins representative I dealt with saw all of this. The work started on Feb. 6 and wasn't finished until well into April, although the contract estimated finish date was March 11. Even with all of these problems of which it was aware, Jenkins would allow me only a $200 offset, which didn't begin to cover my disposal, plumber, and the hours I spent cleaning up their mess and reshelving my books. I am giving Jenkins two stars instead of one because their job with the tile and cabinets in the kitchen was satisfactory. But needless to say, I would never use Jenkins Restoration again. read more

We were assigned Jenkins Restoration by our insurance company to come out and tarp our roof. We were contacted the same day we filed our claim to schedule an appointment for the following day. They never showed up. We called them and were told they would be here on Friday. They did not show up on Friday. We called them again and were told they would be here Saturday morning (this morning). We waited for a couple of hours and then called them again and were told someone had come out and decided he couldn't tarp our roof with the equipment he had and the state of damage still existing on the property but he didn't even bother to knock on the door and let us know he was here. We were waiting on him all morning because we were told we needed to be here. We were assured someone would be out in the evening today to get it done. It is now 6pm, no one has been here yet. I contacted the insurance company because we need our roof tarped or we are going to have more damage and was informed that Jenkins Restoration contacted them this afternoon and told them they cannot do the job. I'm not asking for a lot. If you aren't going to make it out, tell me you aren't going to make it out. If you tell me to wait for you to show up, have the courtesy to knock on my door and tell me you're there, whether you can fix the problem or not. If you can't do the job, tell me you can't do the job. There was zero customer service from this company and it made an already stressful situation that much more stressful. read more

Due to water damage In our basement- USAA sent an estimator from Jenkins Restoration to look at our basement and write up a proposal. Reuben Pemberton not only confused the date but arrived very late when he finally made the appt. Once he arrived and looked over the basement he assured me that he would get back to me in a few days. I never heard back. 2 weeks later I called him- he had no clue who I was and apologized for losing the file. He then assured me that he would email USAA again and get back in touch with me. Here we are again- no word. Apparently according to USAA he canceled the job- never told me. He told them that we were hiring our own contractor instead. This was news to me. He also claimed that our sump pump was a do it yourself job. When another USAA adjustor came out- he said that had Reuben actually taken the time to look at our sump pump he wouldve realized that it was on point. So anyway- here I sit since Nov with a shell of what used to be an awesome basement. No word from anyone. read more

Water heater flooded my basement and they showed up within hours. The guy who ripped up the carpet, took the photos and who came back to pickup his fans and dehumidifier was nice and very professional. The project manager assigned was Ben and he did a really good job at assuring me everything would be fixed and done to my satisfaction. He even came back to get my broken water heater because USAA told me I should hang onto it and then their claims folks said anything older than 5 years should just get tossed because the manufacturer can claim wear and tear. Overall I am very pleased with their company and the level of service that I got from them. Just one less thing to worry about when life deals you a blow. There was a little snafu with the new carpet installation but Ben was on top of it and we got it fixed from the vendor. read more

We had a flood in the basement of our new home recently and the insurance company had Jenkins come out to give an estimate. Call me a pessimist, but we figured the company that the insurance company hired would be the last one that we decided to hire to actually do the work. I couldn't have been more wrong. In came these extremely professional guys dressed in their Jenkins Polos and they just nailed everything. They knew exactly what needed to be done to remediate the damage and their price was lower than our other two estimates. They also made it so easy to work with our insurance company for prompt payment. Over the course of the work we decided to add on quite few projects for Jenkins, including the removal of a load-bearing wall, the installation of a gas fireplace, and a totally custom wine cellar. Jenkins took every change order in stride and delivered a beautiful final product. I simply could not be more satisfied with their work. Done on time, on budget, and with incredible professionalism. I have to give a special shout out to Colin Sonnenday, our project foreman. He was unbelievable throughout the entire project. This guy can work on my house anytime. read more

I had a car go through my house in 2012. They were the preferred company assigned by my insurance company (USAA) The experience was HORRIBLE from the start, and it would require a book to list all of the unprofessional, irresponsible, and flat out deceitful things they tried to pull on me. The very contractors told me many horror stories. I ended up firing them after a short time and, then had to fight to get any money back that they were already paid. I contacted USAA several times about them, but it seems that has fallen on deaf ears. I am willing to bet that most of the GOOD REVIEWS here are only because they were small jobs that didn't require much coordination. There was ABSOLUTELY NO GAME PLAN in effect for the $60,000 damage to my house, and none of the contractors were even close to being on the same page with one another. Charged $2,400 to paint 12 shutters and the eaves. A guy shows up in a Nissan Sentra with no ladder, used crusty paint, and was done in 5 hours despite the scope of work outlining a primer coat and TWO top coats. Pure insurance scam artists.... I had extensive water damage through 3 levels of my home. My insurance company's recommendation was Jenkins Restoration for water mitigation and since Jenkins could send a crew out that evening, I went with their recommendation. The water mitigation crew was wonderful so based on that experience I decided to allow Jenkins Restoration to complete the restoration part of the job. That was the worst mistake that I could have made. The crew dispatched changed every day AND they did not conceal the fact that they did not like my presence in my residence while they were working. The crew completed the demolition process with my furniture including large area rugs still in place and uncovered. They did not install plastic to block the dust and debris from going from the work zones into the rest of my house. My entire 1700 sq ft house was covered in drywall dust and debris. The crew finally rolled up the carpets only to place them on my upholstered couch which was not covered until the carpet was on it. I had to have all my upholstered furniture and area rugs professionally cleaned twice to completely remove the drywall dust. The crew was very poor had coordinating the work that needed to be completed. They required three full days to relay ceramic tile floors which were not meant to be walked on. This information was not communicated to me or USAA so I was confined to a room in my house until the floors could be walked for two days. The sub-contractor who was hired to refinish and relay the hardwood floors required one week after the new floor boards had acclimated. This again was not communicated. The sub-contractor attempted to install the new floor boards with very large gaps between the new boards AND without allowing the boards to acclimate to the home environment. The subcontractor tried to use wood putty to seal the 1/4 inch gaps between boards. The floor had to be removed and put in again. Last than six months after the work was complete there are two large gaps - 1/8 and 1/4 inch in two areas where new floor boards were laid. The wood putty has shrunk and is non-existent in those gaps. The crew disposed of mixed drywall mud, tile cement, and grout by dumping these products into my laundry tub and kitchen sink pipes causing a major back-up in my sewer line to the street. The crew also cleaned out paint brushes in my powder room sink and left the faucet handles and sink covered with paint splatter. I would never recommend Jenkins Restoration to anyone. And if your insurance company recommends them, I would ask for another recommendation. read more

First off, be careful of other companies in the NoVA area with a similar name. Check that the company address is in Sterling and the logo is a blue and black JR or green and black JE (not a tree). They are not the same company!!! I found this company through an online search but almost called the wrong company on the phone because their names are so close and the website address is also close. This company was outstanding!! We had mold damage in a home we rent out that was not noticed until it was a major issue. The response from Evan Cook to take care of the remediation was nothing short of fantastic. Two rooms were stripped down to the studs on two sides and parts of the ceiling was removed to fully take care of the problem. Evan explained everything that was going to happen and responded to emails and questions right away (even on weekends when I wasn't expecting an answer). Evan worked with me and my insurance to make sure things were done correctly. He made this very stressful situation much easier to handle. Then, with rooms being demolished, I needed a restoration crew to put the house back together. This company does it all. Branden Lutz took over after Evan was done and showed the same stellar professionalism and execution as I received from the first crew. Same quick responses to my questions and requests (even on weekends again). Made sure I understood all that was going to be done and coordinated with Evan to have his work start as soon as possible to limit the waiting time to have the house complete. The rooms look great and I have a house again! I couldn't be happier with the service I received from these two contractors from Jenkins. I would definitely recommend them to others. read more

I have contacted them numerous times via phone and email and I'm always given the "We'll look into it..." speech and nothing ever happens. Two months to do a 4 day job. A tree fell on the house. With the notable exception of the framing crew (and they didn't jack the roof back into position before being reminded AFTER the roofing was installed), the subs were atrocious. The roofing, trim and siding all had to be redone, the rain gutter replacement had holes in the seams you could see through. The sub on that thought I was overly picky not to want leaks at the seams, but did make the correction. The supervisor seems to know what he's about, but he doesn't check the job the subs have done until there's a complaint. If you don't know enough about construction to do the job yourself, I would strongly recommend you hire someone to oversee the work this company does. Almost forgot - be prepared to do clean up yourself after they leave. read more

USAA referred us to Jenkins after our dishwasher flooded and ruined the hardwood floors in our kitchen. A job that should have taken a few weeks ended up taking 3 months. We had to move out of our house with a 1-year old and live in a hotel. They hired general contractors to replace the hardwood floor in our entire first floor. They moved us and all of our furniture back in only for us to discover that they forgot to put polyurethane down. We had to move out again as they fixed a mistake that didn't need to happen if they would have just hired hardwood experts in the first place. It has now been a year and our hardwood floors look like they have been in place for 10 years. There is discolorations, scratches, uneven planks etc. We have been trying to get a hold of Jenkins for months to have someone come out and take a look at them and have gotten no response. I would never hire them again or recommend them to anyone I know! read more

I received a phone call from the police department where I went to college (5 hours away). They had received information from an Alexandria police officer that found my college ring on a homeless person. I'm not sure who all wrote in for the reviews...friends of the company...but Jenkins Restorations is ANYTHING but quick and professional. I live at Dominion Valley Country Club, and our gate house was run into by an SUV. This happened April 14th, 2014. It is May 20th, 2014, and we just got an update that Jenkins Restoration hopes to get approval from PWC inspections within the next two weeks. Really...as an Architect who works around the US (85 different cities) PWC Inspections is the quickest and most organized I've EVER worked with. USAA suggested this contractor after our basement flooded to do the reconstruction. They sent the estimator and they they submitted it to our insurance for the quote. We hadn't even signed a contract or discussed what was going to happen and the insurance company had cut a check to them. I contacted Jenkins to find out when would discuss what was going into our home because we didn't want carpet back in a basement that had the potential to flood again and Jenkins' Estimator basically told me that I couldn't afford tile but I could afford 1.49 a sq. ft. in carpet and .45 sq ft. in padding. Problem because that carpet that was destroyed wasn't 1.49 sq. ft. carpet. Looking at his estimate, the estimate was all labor and over head and little to do with the materials and supplies so they were gouging me. He sends over a contract and tells me this needs to be signed before work can commence on Monday and submit $1000 deposit. I tell the guy, hold on we haven't even discussed what your plans for carpet or paint or any of the work was going to be. He tells us we can meet with their carpet guy first before we sign contract. Next thing we know we get an email from him to sign contract, submit 1000$ deposit and then we can meet with their guy. Granted that is the short of what really happened. No customer service on return calls, Had to basically deal with emails. I don't appreciate being treated like I'm an imbecile. So I made a call to my contract and talked to USAA and told them my concern and disdain for the way Jenkins was handling the matter. How can you tell a customer that they can't afford something but yet their overhead was literally 80 % of the job. Talked to my own contractor got my quote which was far less than Jenkins in labor, got our own supplies and now getting the job done my way with porcelain tile USAA tried to take 30% for depreciation from the quote from Jenkins away from us and fought them all the way because they sent us a crappy unscrupulous contract. How can you depreciate from a quote that was given to you and we are only trying to get the work don right. In the end they saw it our way. Check for Jenkins was cancelled, thank goodness. If it doesn't seem right and the contractor treats you like your dumb and trying to force a contract on you. GO with your gut and fire them before you even get started. read more

Hartford Insurance contracted this company to restore my marbling flooring. My experience was one of the worst I have ever encountered. A scheduled estimated was completed and terms were agreed upon, then Aaron, (man this dude is rude,disrespectful, and very unprofessional. He needs to be terminated immediately) called and nsulated me verbally. After going through all of the channels with the insurance company, the day Jenkins was supposed to come out to start the work, I received a call from Aaron stating that the amount of payment is too small for their company. I responded "why did you extend and estimate, and schedule appointment to so the work.. DANIEL was the guy who did the estimate, stay away from him too. He is incompetence. He lacks comphension and customer service skills. You can never reach anyone and the you business it is not valued by this company. Our experience with Jenkins Restorations was terrible. They could not fix the problems for months. My daughters rooms had ceiling damage so both of them slept in our room for months. Jenkins would claim they fixed it and then everytime it would rain, my daughters rooms would have repeated water damage. On top of that, our insurance company paid for roof tiles (which took weeks to find) and Jenkins claimed that half of them mysteriously disappeared before the job was completely finished. Finally, with all the repeated water damage from Jenkins not properly fixing the roof, we had to use our towels which all became discolored. Jenkins picked them up and said they would send us a check for reimbursement, but they never did. Let me first say- water mitigation- YES. Similar to others posting- USAA refers for water mitigation, but they let us choose our restoration company. The mitigation was done in one day and we were pleased. Once they told us they also did restoration, we were obviously inclined to use them (we believe it may have been a subcontractor). At that point our whole experience went down hill FAST. We have lost track of time at this point but it was a week and a half of drywall, painting and patching, followed by two days of flooring (one additional day of drop off). They would show up late, and leave sometimes well after 8pm (once almost 10pm!). When we informed the company we were not pleased with the work at what we thought was the end of the job, no one came out to check the work or progress, instead the same workers came back for another 3 days (25 hours) and "fixed" the issues. Some of which are still not fixed and we are done with this company altogether. Their flooring company was also cheap labor. We have been prisoners in our house for what feels like 3 weeks, and we spent 12 hours yesterday CLEANING up the mess their workers left behind: trash, water bottles, condiment packets, dirt, rubble, boxes, wrappers, and even a pair of pants. I called to get a padding and carpet repaired. It took two days just to schedule the estimate. And then it took four days to get the actual estimate back. Then another week to get someone to come out and perform the repair. Not very possible. read more
