Where to start? Bill and his team at Everest Granite exceeded my expectations from start to finish.  I needed to replace my aging countertops and modify my sink area into a more user-friendly, and modern, island setup.  Being completely overwhelmed with all the granite/quartz selections, Bill helped me choose the perfect quartz for my kitchen countertop replacement.  He also helped me with a new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal and made the entire process incredibly easy for me and it was quickly proven that his knowledge and care for his trade was an invaluable asset throughout this process.  Once we had a plan in place, the quartz came in and his crew promptly came to my home to demo the old surfaces and to a create a template for cutting the new quartz. The entire team was just amazing.  Their levels of knowledge, expertise, professionalism, and cleanliness was a breath of fresh air in what has become an oversaturated "cash-grab" field filled with too many sub-standard, careless companies vying for your money.   When the crew returned to install the new countertops (ahead of both the schedule and my expectations), they stayed until all of the electrical, plumbing, and finishing touches were completed, and didn't overlook any details.     Thank you for transforming my blah kitchen into a dream kitchen, all while staying on budget, within timeframe, and 100% as promised with nothing short of precision professionalism.   I highly recommend Everest Granite and believe them, by far, to be the best value for your money.  Beginning to end consistent high-level service and product; A+ grade, bravo, and thanks!

Everest Granite was great to work with, I had quite a few estimates, but Bill and his team due to their professionalism, prices and quick turnaround times went with them. I was not disappointed. Bill is very responsive and once I made my final decision it took less than a week to remove and install the new counter tops. I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend this company for any remodeling of kitchens. Next year I will reach out to get my cabinets painted.

I cannot recommend Everest Granite enough. The entire process to replace my kitchen countertops was easy and quick, reasonably priced, and the quality of the work was top notch. The owner, Bill, coordinated with me over email and phone for about a week and then came out to take measurements (took about 20 minutes). A week later he sent his team (3 guys) and they demoed and installed the new countertops, sink, and faucet in exactly 3 hours. They all wore masks and were cognizant of the fact that I was stuck at home due to COVID so kept the noise level to a minimum. The countertops and sink/faucet install looked perfect and they left my place cleaner than when they arrived. I honestly wish I could give them 6 stars!

Bill and his team do excellent work. I was referred to Bill and Everest Granite by a neighbor, and I'm so glad I engaged them to replace my tired granite with beautiful new quartz countertops. The transformation is stunning. Bill responded quickly to my call, gave me ideas for options, and was back within days to create the template for the countertop. The team installed in a few hours (I was amazed), and left things in good order. All of this within 1 week during the COVID pandemic! I couldn't ask for more. Great customer service, prompt, courteous and efficient. I highly recommend Everest Granite.

Beautiful granite slab with stainless steel kitchen sink

From the initial planning of our new space to the final countertop installation, Bill and his team were absolutely FANTASTIC to work with! Perfectly matched our new island to the rest of our kitchen, offered an incredibly competitive price, and were all around a genuine pleasure to work with. We give Everest Granite our very highest recommendation and will be using them again when we install a bar in our lower level.

Mosaic was a great find and recommended to me by my contractor. I checked it out on Yelp first and…read moredue to the great reviews, decided to try it out myself. I've done a bathroom remodel before without the help of anyone at Mosaic before this one and now after getting the help of a design professional I'd never want to do without it again! My appointment with Cameron went very well. We definitely needed the full 1.5 hours to go over my preferences, look at images I brought in and pick out tile and then take down specs for estimates. Cameron's tile suggestions seemed be very inline with my own preferences. Plus, I was able to walk around and pick out many attractive tile choices to choose from. Mosaic also has a very large building with quite a few model upscale bathrooms set up to walk around and take a look at to help spark design ideas. Later the same day as my tile consultation, Cameron emailed me her very detailed and accurate architectural drawings of my bathroom showing everything I described to her for the remodel including the tiles, vanity, tub, etc. and contacted my general contractor directly as well. I was very impressed and pleased--considering this was all a free service to customers! I was also able to take home my tile samples to look it all over later in my house. The tile was not cheap of course. I have a relatively small bathroom in my townhouse but it still amounted to well over $2k worth of tile! I know I have expensive tastes but I was hoping my contractor would be able to get me more of a discount! Well, I may have to scale back the amount of tile I'm using and/or hold off on the project to save up more meanwhile but I know exactly what tile I want to go with now!

I had seen some stuff online via Ferguson's website, but I wanted to actually chat with a person in real life about my proposed project so in that way I could walk through what I was looking for and wanted. We worked with Darin who was fantastic btw! My husband and I sort of went through with what I was looking for which included plumbing fixatures for two bathrooms and a chandelier for our foyer. He was great gave us different options at different price points also he helped figure out what I was trying to explain (I told him I don't know all of the technical names of the things, but he was able to decipher) and help us think through what we needed. Darin super knowledgeable! Now a few other points of advice if you are a first timer, pictures of what you want to do helpful even if they are inspo photos, if you've got space measurements even better. Also, if you are thinking of changing out plumbing perhaps having your preferred plumber come out to give you an idea of materials required for your project (I opted to do it in reverse).

Returned two pulls. The associate told me they'd ship together but instead they shipped separately…read more I paid $30 for the pulls and only got $6 back. Seriously??? Truth is you can buy everything Ferguson carries from Home Depot online--including the same Amerock pulls--get a military discount, and return items in-store WITHOUT paying shipping fees. From now on, I'd only step into Ferguson for ideas and then purchase at Home Depot. HOME DEPOT WINS!

Primary emphasis was a layout that could evolve over time and recapturing some floorspace. Start to finish was 3-4 weeks. This included tearing out popcorn ceiling, wiring in ~11 new recessed lights, new flooring, new kitchenette, small updates to a guest bathroom, painting all the things (including a chalkboard 1/3 wall) and a redesigned fascia for our fireplace. It also included a "secret room" for the kiddo that Quinn took on as a personal project, as we've been juggling complex medical issues for a few years. Needless to say that resulted in a lot of smiles and it has been getting a ton of use. The plywood in the secret room is 3/4" and we plan to add some rock climbing grips to it in the future. Pearl and Monica were easy to communicate with and any issues (ex: some painting needed to be revisited) were handled promptly. They were very flexible with pricing and really went out of their way to make this work for us. I'm deeply appreciative of the work they did for our child and the flexibility they demonstrated with some of my last-minute design tweaks. This is an easy recommend from me.

But once we scheduled the appointment with CKB, lots of other projects popped up with our old, new house: knocking pipes when the hot water is on, an old fireplace mantle with water damage behind it, a wall-mounted tv that the previous owners stuck right into flammable insulation. But it didn't matter! Quinn, Cherie, and Carlos completed our whole list within ONE WEEK and within our budget. The team painted everything from ceilings to baseboards and covered up the previous yellow and navy blue paint! They completely replaced the damaged drywall behind our brick fireplace and installed a new electrical outlet for the wall mounted tv, in addition to adding fireproof insulation! And they fixed our knocking pipes by cutting into our walls and spray foaming around the culprits. Totally professional and on time every day. It was great! Can't wait to have them back to renovate our old bathrooms.

What started out as a fairly decent experience (they have a decent showroom with nice examples) went progressively downhill. Our initial visit to their showroom in Chantilly was met promptly by one of their designers, however, first impression was that he was very new to the business, but seemed to know some of the products they were representing. Before leaving, we scheduled an in-home visit for him to come look at the proposed bathroom and kitchen renovations about a week later. I had not heard back from him promptly to confirm the appointment, and therefore I reached out to his manager (who also did not have the courtesy to directly respond to me). But apparently my message made its way to the designer, who I'm pretty certain completely forgot about the appointment he scheduled. Following the home visit, we were told that 3D renderings would be prepared, and that a follow-up appointment would be scheduled for us to come into their showroom again to discuss. Perhaps one of the few positives was that the the designer sent me a message a few days later to day his renderings were done, and invited my wife and I to come back into the showroom, but we couldn't visit until a week later due to my schedule. As soon as we arrived on our scheduled follow-up visit, one of the other Chantilly store representatives seemed surprised that we were there to meet with the designer, saying that he was working at their Fairfax store that day. UNBELIEVABLE! Nevertheless, he got in touch with the designer, who finally made his way out to the Chantilly store over 30 minutes late!! But perhaps the worst part of the meeting was despite having plenty of time to prepare decent 3D renderings, he only really had one prepared (he promised at least a couple of different ones), and the renderings were terrible quality and something a child would develop. Despite all of this, we were still willing to talk to him and discuss options. The latest update was that he would prepare additional renderings, and said he would talk to his manager about final estimated costs. At this point (over a week later), we still haven't heard back from him, so obviously they don't consider us a serious customer. What a disappointing waste of nearly 3 weeks time, and even more disappointing after seeing other positive reviews; I just we just weren't lucky. That said, I have had a positive experience with another renovation company, and will go with their service instead; others had much better estimated pricing anyway. I'm glad I talked to other companies out of due diligence.

Frankly, working with her again is a no-brainer for us and we sing her praises to all of our friends and neighbors now. If you've done any sort of home renovations you've probably had good contractors and bad. On our most recent 1600sf addition we had a lot of mediocre work from our GC and his subs and they required LOTS of oversight. Heather's team, by contrast, gave us white glove service at a price that was a true bargain for the quality of work delivered. Sarah had designed my friend's kitchen, and I could tell that she has good (but expensive) taste. Working with Sarah just to get an honest quote on my kitchen remodel was a waste of everyone's time. Her arrogance and lack of professionalism was even worse than her price tag. She insisted on blindly charging $2500-$3000 before even sitting down with her to do a design saying many times "my work speaks for itself" and that its a boutique experience. No formal quote or anything on paper. I have gotten a few other companies and designers come in and they have given me step-by-step quotes as well as a peek of what they had been planning for a design. With a big smile, too! She says that sometimes she won't even take a project that's "not worth her time", but she said she was exited to come up with a design for my kitchen after she returned from a month long vacation. 1+ months later, even more unprofessional and disorganized, she canceled my appointment without notice, despite our correspondence over email. She did not take the time to answer what few questions I had when I walked into the studio, which is when she looked at me like I was trespassing. Bottom line: FineLine kitchen designs may "speak for itself" but it does nothing to convey Sarah's arrogance and extreme lack of self awareness. Good luck to all her future clients!
