I then asked what the difference would be between getting a particular cabinet color (not knowing what my options were or what would be in stock without a company name), and she said custom vs semi custom are just words and that it's all pretty much custom so it wouldn't make a difference. Upon asking a few more questions, she proceeded to tell me "I'm not sure if you saw, but our company has almost a 5-star review and that's almost unheard of". I didn't know what to make of it, but considering what some of their reviews mentioned, I felt as though we were going to get the same treatment. She said she'd get back to me by Friday with a quote and a visual of the kitchen updates-- it was Tuesday that day. We gave her a call that Friday afternoon to follow up and she insisted that the cabinet company was taking a while and that she'd get back to us by Monday the latest if not over the weekend. We waited and got nothing so my husband called her the following Wednesday without ever hearing from her. She continued to reassure us that she hasn't forgotten about us and that she'd get back to us by Monday for sure. It's now been 21 days and we got no updates or any communication from them. It's clear that this is a pattern for them and I'd advise someone looking to get work done by someone reliable and honest to look elsewhere.

It took over "two years" and the County of Fairfax had to get involved for them to take care of us. They did sloppy and unsafe work. This was confirmed by independent inspectors that we hired and the County of Fairfax Permit Department. Below are some highlights. -Multiple Code Violations for electrical, plumbing and structural issues. -Multiple leaks with ceiling damage. -Our master bath had to be demolished 3 times for them to resolve issues that they generated. -Over 100 issues between the 3 bathrooms. Some were cosmetic others were very major and required demolition. KBR is inept, unprofessional and performed outright illegal/unsafe work. Service, response time, quality and pricing - all outstanding. 2/2019 A sizeable part of my master bath shower grout on the floor and walls had changed from the "Light Smoke" to WHITE. Couldn't figure it out. No amount of cleaners would fix it. On 2/2, I called Mosaic Tile in Chantilly and the most knowledgable woman, Jen, answered the phone. I had all my original receipts (yes, one of those and it has been a blessing) and described my dilemma. She knew immediately what had happened and knew that the Cement Grout Glaze Remover would fix it. She was so helpful and Mosaic Tile is fortunate she works for them. Unfortunately, driving to Chantilly from Old Town is like a full day trip. Jen struck gold again. There is also a Mosaic Tile in Alexandria, 15 minutes from me. She even went into the computer and saw they had two in inventory. Off i flew, since they closed in 30 minutes. Well, i learned WHY my grout had turned white. My lousy contractor ( who will remain unnamed becuase I still have issues with them, five years after the fact) put too much water in the grout and this caused it to discolor. Didn't surprise me they had made the mistake. Super Bowl Sunday. Time to test this out on a portion of the shower floor. I've attached a picture of my "before" floor. I had upcoming work travel so... of course the part took 72 hours so I scheduled with them immediately for my return between two trips. Then the morning they are due to arrive they just cancel and say they rebooked me for another week!! No backup plan. No nothing. So I call and spoke to an exceedingly unhelpful supervisor who said the tech was ill (this happens) but the had no backup got a week?!!! They sure are happy to sell appliances but not to stand behind them. I explained I had to travel again but I could do the Thursday or Friday of the week I'm traveling and they told me they could only do Wednesday. No effort to meet actual customer service. This is a joke of a company. Go to M and M appliances in DC. Or Sterling appliances. Or Costco even!! But don't go to these people. I have been without a fridge for five months since June 2025 bray and scarff will sell you a warranty, but to a third-party and that third-party is called centricity and they are completely inept. I've had six service calls to service my fridge (compressor died 1yr 1 month)and it still doesn't work. Bray and scarff doesn't care and they deflect any responsibility and blame it on centricity and centricity will contract out third-party vendors who won't be able to work on your fridge anyway at least the Bosch 800. All in all shame on bray and scarff for not taking ownership of this process because they mistakenly chosed the cheapest partnership with a warranty company who do does not respect the consumer or their time. Shame on you Bray and scarff for working with a warranty company such centricity. Is there no pride or integrity in "local" businesses anymore.
