I don't remember the ladies name, but she did a really great job with acrylics for me. I don't like that my old set was peeled off. I wish they had soaked them off. But after that was done she did a really wonderful job treating my natural nails and then putting my new set on. They are a great length, but my favorite part is how thin she was able to make them! I wish my natural nails were like this so that was an awesome bonus. I'll be going back when I need a fill. I haven't tried any other service yet. read more

I have never written a bad review in my life. I never thought it was something that should be done, but after today's experience, I understand why. I received a gift card for Christmas. I was excited to have a mommy daughter day with my 12 year old. This was our last stop before we were heading to a b day party. I called and they told me to come in at 12:45. We did. My daughter had nail polish change, and I was supposed to have a manicure and pedicure. THREE HOURS LATER they finished with us. I asked the lady if it typically takes 3 hours and she told me she would offer us $5 off. I was completely shocked. Then when I realized that I had not received a manicure but rather a polish removal and change, and asked her about it, she referred to what she charged my daughter. I told her I never received the whole thing, she asked the girl, she confirmed that she forgot. She started to tell me, "I will tell you what, next time.." I told her, "there will not be a next time, we will not be coming back." She said, "well I do not know what you want me to do." The way business works is when you do not receive a service, you are refunded for it if you have already paid. NOT HERE! 3 HOURS with an appointment AND we paid for a service we never received...STAY AWAY!!!! read more

This place kinda sucks. They're pedicures suck for sure. They don't even scrub your feet enough. Their massages are weak! and the lady who did my solar nails took FOREVER and they came out crooked. I was NOT pleased. I decided to give them another try---for a pedicure--again---they did not scrub my feet well and the massage was WEAK. Im not a picky person, but I also do know quality when I see it. This place is not upscale by any means, maybe Im just spoiled and used to having a more upscale pedicure. PS The chairs suck. This place is so close I had to give it a try. I walked in on a weekday afternoon and was greeted. I told her I wanted a manicure and she said hold on. I stood there for a while as the woman wandered around doing chores. I was looking at their prices and they only accept cash. What?! They only offer basic services, and I was looking for shellaq polish. The woman continued to wander without telling me the wait or anything, so I just walked out. read more

I walk into the nail salon with intent to get a quote for my girlfriend and possibly buy a gift card for her as a gift. There were 3 ladies working. One was working with a customer, but the other 2 were playing cards in the back of the salon. The girl working with the customer acknowledged that I was there at the front wanting service, but made no effort to either tell me how long i'd have to wait or call one of the other 2 girls to help me out. I had to walk to the back of the shop after waiting 5 minutes to ask one of them to help me out. They finally tell me that they do not have gift cards nor do they accept anything but cash. As i asked the lady more questions, she seemed annoyed and in a rush to get back to the back to play cards with her coworker. I finally gave up on this place and left. Would not recommend for terrible service. read more

I was nervous about trying this place after reading some of the reviews, but I went anyway because it is very close, cheap, and my old location has a record now of people getting infections. I got a very satisfactory pedicure. There were a lot of colors that I particularly liked to choose from and the lady did a great job getting my toes-ies back in to shape. It was nothing extraordinary. I got what I came for and there was no wait. The only annoying part was that in order to use a credit or debit card the purchase has to be at least $25. My pedicure was $20, and what irritated me was that she was going to ring my card for $25 without my okay! Once I figured out what she was saying, I had just enough time to catch her and pay with cash instead. I wish they would have a more prominent sign displayed with this credit limit. I have been to this place several times to do my waxing and never had a problem. I went this afternoon and when the girl was done my face was so red and slightly puffy from the hot wax. I was struggling with the girl so much about what she did to one of my eyebrows that I didn't even notice the several little patches of hair she left all over my face. Went back to work and had a busy day so I never had an opportunity to look at a mirror. Got home shortly after 6:30 (concord) and while I was getting ready noticed the patches. Called Jenni and her response was I can either do it myself or wait until Monday for her to see. I told her I had plans tonight and all weekend and can't stay like this. She said there was nothing she can do for me!! What the hell did I pay for!! I am in the process of disputing the charge! Never going to this location ever again. read more

I am VERY pleased with my service here. Not only did I get a great manicure immediately when walking in the door, they were able to repair a fingernail that had been cracked for 6 months! I wish I had been here and gotten it fixed sooner. Great prices for nail service, too! read more

This was by far the worst pedi I have ever had!!! I would never go back!!! I went one night with my friend to get pedies. Her girl started 15 mins befor mine did. The whole thing wasent that great. When my girl was done doing the color I asked her to do some dots on my toes. She got done about 5 mins befor my friends lady did. When I went to pay she charged me $27.00 for a really shity pedi. My friend paid $18.00 for hers and she got 20mins longer of a pedi and just polish. I'm a hair stylist and I know that sometimes you up charge ppl if they have a tone of hair or they are asking for something that there service didn't include. Im all for that and I understand it 100% !! but I thinks it's mest up to charge $7.00 more for some stupid dots! DO NOT GO!!! read more

Not the best or cleanest place to get your nails done - but in a pinch, it is okay. Like most places, best to go during the off hours - early morning or lunch time so you do not have to wait. They do a decent job and the ladies are nice enough. Just don't expect first class service, working massage chairs or super cleanliness. FYI - they just changed their name to Jeni's Nails - and I think the prices went up a bit. read more

Not a good place to have your nails done. Place was dirty, staff are snobbish and rude. My pedicure didn't last for a week-color chipped off right away, they just put a coat of the polish, they are cheap but you get what you pay for! They don't accept credit/debit card. Okay so I just went here to get my eyebrows done because I work next door and decided to go on my lunch break. Walking in I only saw one person and she was busy with another lady. Took a minute to greet me because she was gossiping on her phone. No big deal I'm not the one to be so pissy. A minute later another lady comes in and greets me asking me what she can do for me. I told her I just needed a quick eyebrow wax and quick was exactly what she gave me BUT she was so good! I hardly felt a thing! She was super sweet too. They do NOT take card but have an in store ATM that only has a 50 cent charge. My new place to get my eyebrows done. :) read more

New location is so much better! The owner is accommodating and willing to work with your schedule. I took my daughter somewhere else before and previous salon didn't do as well. This place did so much better on kids nails that I decided to let my 11-yr old daughter get shellack for the first time. They also have more colors available too. read more

We come here every other week. The chairs are clean, the service is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Not impressed. I thought I gave it a try because it's closer to home. By far not as good as the one I used to go; both quality and value.

They do an okay job with cleaning but they have very limited selection for colors. They also use the cheaper brands.

This place is great. I've been coming here for 5 years now and Diem is still the best at what she does! It does get a little crowded so it's best to make an appointment. read more

I won't be back. Yes it's a big place. But I was traded off to three people mid acrylic nail fill. They tore and cut off my real nails underneath without asking. When questioned I was given a bunch of excuses. So now faced with a complete set of fake tips, they did not glue them down well and they starting lifting within 2 days. They didn't trim or push back my cuticles, leaving me with needing a fill immediately. And they cut the tips length before asking me what size and shape I wanted. It was very unprofessional and I will not be back. It is ashame as they do decent pedicures. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I went in to get a set of acrylic nails and a pedicure was appalled at the filth in the place. I had set an appointment and made sure that I was on time, only to find out that they don't write down the appointments- it's first come- first served. I sat down for the pedicure in a chair that was broken and had no massage, was attended by an unbelievably rude woman who would not even look me in the eye. When I asked her not to use a blade on my feet, she pretended not to speak any English. After much waiving and gesturing, she finally put down the blade and proceeded with the pedicure. The leg massage could not have lasted more than 9 minutes and she talked to her friends in Vietnamese the whole time. The paint on my toe nails was applied so thinly that it wore off in less than 5 days. I moved on with getting a full set of nails. The nails were applied with so little glue that only the acrylic held them on and they were crooked. I complained, but they didn't seem to understand English. The acrylic was so thin that it shattered after only a few days. I went to the regular person that usually does my nails, and he just sat there shaking his head. He had to soak off the nails after being able to just flake off the acrylic. He said that he had never seen anything done so poorly, and called all of the manicurists in the shop over to see the mess. PLEASE save your money and your temper and don't go to this horrible place. It doesn't take a genius to know that they are so money grubbing that they won;t even put on enough acrylic or polish to last 2 weeks. WHAT A RIP OFF!!! GO FAR AWAY---SAVE YOURSELF!!! I was a regular customer of this place until recently when I can't stand it anymore. The owner, an old lady, seems to be always rushing her employees. I understand she opens her business to make money but it seems like she does not know the definition of "customer satisfaction". The people she hired, they do not understand English at all, it seems. I had my pedicure done several weeks ago. I was telling the woman not to cut both sides of my toes. The woman did not understand what I was saying at all. She called someone over to translate and the funny thing is that the woman who came over to translate didn't understand English either. How did these people get their licenses anyway? I thought you have to understand and be able to speak some English in order to get the license. And about those pedicure chairs, it seems like it has been there forever. It makes so much noise that I literally have to yell to the girl, instructing her what I want, and the worst part she has to ask me several times before she can understand. I've complained about these chairs to the owner and of course I got the usual answer, "I'll change it soon". That's more than a year ago already. The last thing that drove me away from this business was the last time I got my pedicure done. It was done within 15 minutes. Yes you heard it right, 15 minutes. I understand that sometimes it can get hectic but that's just plain ridiculous. Another important thing I failed to mention is that how did these people pass the health inspection anyway? I'm thinking of writing a letter to the State Board to find out if they have changed their rule on sanitization. The reason why I said that was because when I asked one of the woman to please use a new set of tool, or at least a clean set when doing my pedicure, she answered yes claiming the tools are sanitized. How could it possible be sanitized if I just saw using the same set of tool on another lady and placed it back in her tool box. She then grabbed the same set of tool from the same box and started doing my pedicure. Is this the kind of place we want to come to get our manicure and pedicure done??? read more

I frequented Tony's in Livermore for many months. It was always easy to get an appointment. I had concerns as a medical professional, as the hygiene was questionable. It was my own fault and I should have went with my "gut feeling" and went elsewhere. I did pick up a toe nail fungus which required treatment with Lamisil. I now frequent a salon in San Ramon which uses a medical grade autoclave to sterilize all pedicure an manicure implements. They open the bag in front of the client so one is assured of the sterility. read more

Finally!!!! We finally have a Nail Salong doing the OPI Color Gel Nails and I am hooked. After two full weeks my manicure is absolutely flawless, NO CHIPPING and SUPER SHINY after two full weeks! OPI Color Gel Nails are by far an incredible MIRACLE. Because they are cured they are completely dry the second you leave the salon. They don't ruin your nails at all infact it just protects them! So happy and now my daughter is also using it as well. Finally color polish that lasts up to 3 weeks and flawless! read more

me and 2 other people went to get our nails done and we told them specifically on the phone what we wanted and when we had to change the time and we called and they seemed so flexible and said their open. we told them what we wanted and how many people. we got there and they had us wait 30 min after scheduled. then they said that only 2 of us could get our nails done the way we asked on the phone because not all of their nail techs were skilled.then one of my friends just had to get regular nails which they didn't even use the colors she wanted because they couldnt find anything.my nail tech kept getting up in the middle of doing my nails as well.i asked for a simple design which was a white nails with a blue heats on one.simple.SHE WAS WATCHING A VIDEO HOW TO DO IT.like what she's a nail tech who can't draw a heart. not to mention she was rough with my hands.then she kept changing the prices and charged 5 dollars for each heart so 10 dollars. the hearts were smeared as well. it was so expensive for what. find another place to get your nails done. at least the nails looked decent. read more

If you do not want foot/nail fungus go somewhere else! This is a horrible nail salon. I have lived in Dublin for two years and visited Jenny's nails twice maybe three times. I get pedi's and mani's twice a month so I'm familiar with the process and know a good salon when I experience and see it. It was not until the last time I was there I noticed they do not clean the utensils used for pedicures. I witnessed them attempt to use the same tools used on the previous customer on myself and my mother. When I asked them to clean them and scrub the foot massager bowl the woman had an attitude and then began speaking another language to the other two women in the salon. I saw her go to the back and bring out new tools. When our pedicures were complete, I then noticed her use the same tools on the new customers. There was a woman with a toenail fungus sitting next to me and after her pedicure, the manicurist used the the same tools on another customer. DISGUSTING. Don't they know this is how fungus and bacteria spreads???? In addition, the pedicures are consistently ok or just BAD. They women typically there are older and always leave streaky polish. They do not scrub your feet nor clean your nails properly. This is just a waste of time and money. Oh, and they don't change the wooden sticks for waxing either (ewww). I have been to this salon a few times so far and have not been satisfied with the results. The first time I visited I had done a French manicure and they were great, just didn't last as long as I had hoped. After that I had done regular polish manicures which weren't that great. They overcharge and rely heavily on tips. I tried to explain to the woman doing my nails that the French tips she was creating were not clean, and in return she just gave me attitude and was very rude. I was not comfortable at all and I've given them many opportunities to do better. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

Too bad Yelp does not have a negative rating system...this place is the worst place I have been to. I stopped by last Wednesday to get my manicure done. The woman who did it for me was so rude. Not only she did not understand English well, she kept chatting to her friends in her language, and loud too, while working on my nails. Talk about not having any manner. Another thing that made me really angry was she did not follow my request. I asked for my nails to be trimmed straight across, but instead she cut in the round shape. I asked her to fix it but she was like it looks better her way. She said something but I couldn't understand her. I do not understand why the owner has to hire incompetent people who can't speak the language to work in places where customers are predominantly Americans. Ladies, just a word of advice, there are many better service places around the area. Go check them out. read more

I was really nervous after reading some of the negative reviews, but I had a great experience. I have never gotten more complements on my acrylic nails. I work at a hair salon and my clients even noticed the attention paid to detail and how long my set lasted, compared to the other places I have gone in Dublin/ Pleasanton. The staff was very kind and professional. I felt like they absolutely listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it well. All of the tools used on me were sanitized. They do have shellac and design tips as well as the glitter for rockstar nails, you just have to ask. I definitely plan to keep going here. read more

Such a pathetic place and horrible service. I had to wait for an hour and still left without getting any service. They said that it will just be a 20 min wait. After every 5 min they would tell me 5 more mins. Poorly managed as they had appoinents and didn't know how to manage walk-ins. I will never go to jeni's nails again. read more
