The ladies who run this business are very sweet and take their time. Lots of other salons will rush but not Kayla's Spa they take their time to make sure you are happy. I have recommended my friends to this location because when it comes to acrylic they are very good at it and never make it too thick, it's always perfect. It's also very clean inside and they have lots of options for gel. They can get busy at times so I recommend giving them a call for an appointment. I used to work in Livermore and would go all the time but now that I work in San Ramon. I came on my day off and they were able to get me and my sister a spot for 2 pedicures. Never have been disappointed at Kayla's and will keep going and recommending friends and family as well.

Ladies&Gents, look no further to find your forever salon. This cute and clean salon is under new management for about a year now. Let me tell you it's all the rave! I originally went in for a gel fill and when Anna saw the condition of my nails she recommended I get a full set. I'm so glad I listened! Anna's attention to details and effortless hand made my experience relaxing. My appt was at 9:30am on a Sat during the busiest hours for breakfast. Be sure to arrive early if you prefer front parking or you can park near other business close by. Very nice ambiance all around. Thank you Anna and the friendliest staff. See you ladies soon.

I walked in here today after my fathers day brunch. It was slow so I thought I'd make an appointment for my wife same day. After standing in line behind one person the attendant looked around me to help the next person who was a female. I proceeded to tell him that I was here and waiting. He then asked how he can help me. Too late you showed me what your business is about. I wouldn't recommend if you have melanin as you might be skipped over. His guilt than trigger him to come outside with the owner after he saw my wife walk up. They proceeded to apologize and offer 10% off.

So sweet, they opened a fresh new dip powder for me and gave me cold water when I walked in! They did a good job with my sister who bites her nails, though they did cut her cuticle a little too close making her bleed. My dip nails were painless and done very fast. They are a little big in shape, I don't think she thought about the thickness or how my hands would look. I think for convenience it's a five star, but it's not wedding nail material. It was $65 total, 50 for mine and 15 for her manicure. 20 percent discount though because of grand opening

I had a wonderful experience at Kayla Nails and Spa. I had an appointment for a gel manicure and decided to go with a classic French tip. Kevin was extremely personable and I loved talking with him. He shaped my nails exactly how I wanted them: a cross between almond and stiletto. I absolutely love them! It was also extremely affordable compared to some shops in San Francisco or Oakland where I usually go. Total with tip for gel manicure was just over $50. Probably the best builders gel manicure I've ever had. they actually used a little round ball in my cuticles and my cuticles look the best they've ever been. I've never had another nail salon do this. And the couple who own it are so kind and sweet. Highly recommend. read more

Today was my second time in since they went under new ownership! I came in after work a few months ago for a pedicure and was so happy with it that I came back again and this time I brought a friend. We both got a #3 pedicure that included a warm wax, a massage, and my favorite part - what I call "the cheese grater" I left both times with baby soft feet that lasts for days! Helen is so sweet, as is everyone else we've met there. She did a great job with my gel polish and she even does great nails (check out her Instagram @helen_nails_84) which I'll have to come back to try. It's Saturday and I found out the hard way that getting your hair done in Livermore can be difficult today because of the Rodeo Festival. I walked to every single hair salon which were within minutes of one another and they were all closed or unavailable!!!! Finally I called Chelsea's Hair and Nails and I asked if they had time for a blow out and they told me to come in! It was $25.00!!!!! My only thing was that Bill takes his sweet time with your hair! 2 stars for a good polish job and friendly staff. Otherwise I wouldn't return. I just think there are nicer nail salons in Livermore. Also, paid for a pedicure that was to include a scrub, masque, and hot towels. None of which occurred during my treatment. Paid $50 for a gel pedi that was basically a quick cuticle cleaning, speedy foot buffing, and a lotion application. And it wasn't even busy! Nobody was waiting to be seen after me. This is also the type of place that waxes your face while you're sitting in a pedicure chair for all to see. I guess if you're into that, this is the place for you. Cannot recommend, won't be returning. read more

My nails have ripples on them. I got the tap nails and they look awful, instead of smooth, the nails have bumps and there are tiny bubbles in the polish. I asked for the nails to be rounded and they are more pointed. These are the worst nails I ever had done. Never again. I would give one star if I could. read more

came into Kayla's this morning because i needed a full acrylic set and a pedi before leaving for a bachelorette weekend tomorrow, I'm so glad i did! i had friends recommend Kayla's and I'm happy that i listened to them! the ladies who helped me were so sweet and really made me feel comfortable as someone who doesn't get their nails done often. ana did my acrylics and they look exactly how i wanted them to, but better! I've been going to this place at least once a month for over a year now. I was new in the area when my sister and I stumbled upon this place last year. We are particular with people who do our nails especially our eyebrows. Kayla and Helen never failed to deliver exquisite services. I came in today an hour before closing without an appointment or prior notice. They took me in and stayed longer than they should've just to accommodate me. Did my manicure, pedicure, and eyebrows and I never felt that I was rushed. They took their time to make sure I'm well taken care of plus their mom gave me the ultimate foot massage which I badly needed. This place deserves the recognition it's getting. 100% recommended! Came in for a shellac manicure and pedicure with Linda. She did a great job! She's super personable. She said she's been doing nails in the area for over 16 years and you can tell she knows what she's doing. She took her time with both which I appreciate. Most places are quick to take your money and get you out. My pedicure was relaxing and my feet are super smooth. Will definitely be back. read more

This was one of the best experiences i've ever had at a salon. The staff is A1 and has great hospitality. They greeted us with water and snacks. We showed them what we wanted and they did just that. Then we went on an island vacation and neglected to brush out the second wave of tangles. When we returned, the kid had some gnarly dreads that were just clumps of twisted hair. We lovingly referred to the back of her hair as "A 4 piece McNugget." I had spent hours trying to comb it out. I bought every detangling lotion, serum, milk, oil- ALL of it! I made very little progress. I had accepted that we needed a professional, and we even got turned away from a barber shop in Pleasanton. A friend told me that she really believed that her friend Hollee at 3 Palms Salon could help us out. The salon itself is really pretty, and inviting. The house gives an upscale ( pamper/treat yo self) vibe with zero pretentiousness. Everyone was friendly, and my little lady immediately relaxed. I explained to Hollee that she was more than welcome to shave the back (underneath) or cut her hair very short. We knew that we might be going from dreadlocks to punk rocks- and we we're ok with that. Hollee said, "No, I can comb this out, I just need time." I went shopping in Downtown Ltown, and Hollee managed to smooth out and trim a brand new DO! She even added magic sparkles. I was pretty surprised, because two of the tangled mats were at the base of the scalp, what a relief to have everything all fixed up again. Another thing that she did was talk about which products prevent, combat, and repair the Chlorine Damage. She was so understanding and sympathetic. We simply could not be happier with the service, the stylist, the atmosphere, the magic, and the final result! I'm local here In Livermore and I went downtown for lunch and stumble across a grand opening sign under new owner. I needed to get my nails and pedicure done so figure why not give It a try. Wow! The customer service was amazing! The ladies welcome me with a nice cold bottle of water on this hot day! The music was really nice and relaxing but best part is Helen exceeded my expectation! Chelsea's hair and nails are under new management and the first time I came in a little over a month ago, I had gel nails that were chipping off and Helen recommended I get dip nails so that my nails would grow and prosper. I took her advice and my nails have never looked better! He immediately began the process without asking me to choose a color. I noticed he was using a black base instead of brown, so I showed him the reference photo again, multiple times. Even after that, he continued with a streaky gray base and added a few random black dots and swirls. When he was already applying the top coat, I asked if this was when the brown would be added. He looked confused. I tried to be patient and showed him the reference photo again. Instead of correcting the design properly, he just added a brown shade on top that looked more like a purple-gray tone. He never asked if I liked the result and simply kept going. After that, I moved to the chair for a basic pedicure. My friend also got the basic pedicure, but I somehow finished before she did even though she had already been sitting there for 30 minutes. The whole service felt very rushed. There was also very little communication throughout the appointment. When he finished painting my toes, he just got up and walked away without saying anything. We actually had to ask if we were done because no one told us. Overall, the experience felt rushed and unprofessional. The technician said he could do the design I wanted but clearly did not know how. When I asked if the nails could be fixed, they told me no and said I should have said something earlier, even though I had shown the reference photo multiple times during the process. Very disappointing experience.

I came to Royal Nails Spa on August 6, 2026, after dropping my dog off at the vet. I had been…read moredealing with stressful vet appointments and wanted to treat myself to something nice. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the services I received. It has taken me a while to write this review because I was busy caring for my dog, who sadly has since passed away. I made my appointment online and they were able to get me in right away. The salon itself is beautiful and has a high-end appearance, and the receptionist was friendly. Unfortunately, the quality of my services did not match the appearance or the prices. I received a Gel-X new set for $110 and a gel pedicure for $82. With the cash discount, I paid $183 before tip and over $200 total after tipping. The appointment also became uncomfortable because I repeatedly heard things like "that's extra," "this color is extra," and "that costs extra." I appreciate being informed about additional charges beforehand, but hearing it repeatedly made the experience feel more focused on upselling and money than providing a relaxing, high-quality service. For the premium prices being charged, I expected premium-quality work. Unfortunately, the problems started almost immediately. My appointment was August 6. I am attaching a photo taken August 7 at 7:11 PM, literally the next day, showing that the gel polish on my pedicure had already chipped/come off. An $82 gel pedicure should not be chipping one day after the service. I also needed acrylic sculpted onto a toenail I had previously lost. The pedicure technician seemed unsure how to do it and brought over acrylic nail tips. The technician doing my manicure actually had to stop working on my hands, tell the other technician no, and take over doing the acrylic on my toenail herself. Then my Gel-X manicure started lifting and the nails began popping off. My second photo is dated August 14 at 7:02 AM, only eight days after my appointment, and shows the lifting/separation. The Gel-X application was also messy underneath my nails, with excess product globbed up on the undersides. In my opinion, the extensions did not appear to have been properly sized or applied. After spending over $200 including tip, having my $82 gel pedicure chip the very next day and my $110 Gel-X manicure begin lifting and coming apart within days was incredibly disappointing. Maybe I happened to get inexperienced technicians that day -- I can't say. But based on my experience, I personally would not return. At this point, I am not interested in returning to have the services redone. I would simply like my money refunded. I don't feel comfortable giving the salon another opportunity to work on my nails after this experience. This was supposed to be a small moment of self-care during an incredibly difficult time while I was dealing with my dog's health. Instead, I spent over $200 on nails that began falling apart almost immediately. A beautiful, high-end-looking salon doesn't make up for poor-quality work. For the prices being charged here, I expected the quality and longevity of the services to match. Unfortunately, in my experience, they did not. The dated photos I'm attaching were taken August 7 and August 14 following my August 6 appointment. I think the timeline and photos speak for themselves.
