Love my experience with Lux Brow! Having my brows microbladed and to have Ashton's expertise was the best decision ever! I just had my touch up appointment and I am excited to see them healed. They look amazing, and they are turning out to be just what i was hoping for...circa 70s Brooke Shields brows, I'm old. Ha ha Follow her on instagram and check her website, as she announces her booking schedule there. The dates get picked up quick! Completely nervous at the start of my first appointment, but Ashton made sure I comfortable. As I was sitting there with the numbing cream she put on my brows I could feel anxiety was rising. Once she started it did not hurt like my over exaggerated mind was thinking! The noise was the only thing that was noticeable and a bit freaky. Throughout the procedure Ashton checked in on my comfort level, and the progress of my brows. And before i knew it, I was done. Similar to getting a tattoo there are do's and don'ts. She answered questions I had and also gave me a card to check on the states of my brows, so i don't freak out while they are healing, or you look like angry birds or bert from sesame street. Haha I am beyond thrilled about my microblading experience and recommend it to anyone. After frequenting several wax and threading places in town, I decided to give Lux Brow Studio a try based on the fantastic Yelp reviews. My brows had been neglected for months due to my busy mommy life and was in some serious need of some TLC! Ashton did a great job with the brow wax/reshaping my eyebrows and answering all my questions about microblading (a procedure that I am very interested in). A bonus is that she is also very friendly and easy to talk to (very important to feel comfortable and trust your esthetician!). Her shop is cute and well designed but a bit hard to find. It's not easily visible from the street so you may need to look for it if it's your first time there. Overall, very happy with my brow wax. I got tattooed by Felicia on the 13th. My tattoo has faded half off lol. I've had plenty of tattoos and nothing like that's ever happened. She also didn't even take my ID or sign a waiver. I wouldn't go here. I'd go to an actual tattoo shop where they have heavier hands and have more experience if you want a bold tattoo that won't fade in a little over a week. read more

I was happy to find a professional with a somewhat open schedule and quality work- check out their IG page! Ashton did a great job listening to my wants and concerns. I don't even know where to begin this yelp review because the experience was so awful. Ashton is completely unreliable and so irresponsible I would seriously caution anyone that is considering booking with her, it's absolutely not worth it. After taking two days off from work to accompany my mother who wanted support in getting her brows microbladed, she cancelled on her twice both times the day of. First appointment was November 1st my mom gets a text that morning stating she had a family emergency and needed to reschedule. Ok understandable emergencies happen even though my mom traveled 2 1/2 hours from her home and I took off but work, but let's give her the benefit of the doubt and rebook. After A LOT of back and forth via text we finally booked for Monday, December 10th. My mom received a prior confirmation email AND text message confirming the appointment. After my Mom drove 2.5 hours from her home, we drove from my house in San Francisco to Livermore for this 2 hour appointment together (she was nervous and wanted me at her appointment) Our appt time at 1pm passes and no Ashton, we waited until 1:15pm when a stylist takes a break from doing her clients hair asked if we have been helped. We said we were waiting for our 1pm appt. with Ashton. The stylist steps away and calls her on her cell phone and we could hear her talking to her. She comes back and said Ashton will call you. My mom gets text message (yes a txt mg no phone call) saying "Hi Marian! I'm so sorry I completely spaced cause I'm home w the flu w 2 sick kids as well. I truly apologize! I feel so horrible your appt. has been moved so many times. I can refund you the $100 for the deposit if you'd like. I'm am truly sorry and take full responsibility for this mix up. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!! I literally can't even believe Ashton would cancel on her twice like that and say she spaced. On her response back she doesn't even offer to do her brows for free since that would be the right thing to do. How do you honestly run your business like this?? This was a two hour appt. that costs $600 dollars and you just disregard your potential clients like that. There is no excuse for what she did. I will never ever go back to her for my brows, and you can believe that I will not recommend her to anyone. Get your life together and figure out your priorities Ashton. I should have known from my own brow appt listening to her talk for over two hours about herself which is mentality draining where I thought she should be concentrating on the brows. Not to mention she even canceled on other clients while I was there. She did mention she had a falling out with last location of her studio, so now it all makes sense. I hope The State Salon realizes by having someone as flaky has her apart of the establishment is bad for business. She is a nightmare to deal with. read more

I absolutely love Ashton. My best friend is a stylist at The State (the salon that Ashton's Studio is located in) so we were introduced. Ashton is the real deal. She know the trends and has a huge passion for the beauty of brows. I originally consulted with her for micro blading to achieve my dream brows. She directed me to start with a fresh waxing which included a major reshaping and then a tint on my brows to darken them and make them fuller. Wow oh wow what a difference. She worked her magic. Ashton really took the time to question what kind of brow I was going for and worked her magic to take my brows from cousins to sisters. I want to clarify since it seems I am being made out to be a customer who was constantly rescheduling THIS WASNT THE CASE AT ALL. I never reschedule my first and follow up appointment. The appointment I cancelled was because I got a job and. This was the appointment that I was supposed to have to create the brows I wanted since the first initial appointment didn't go as planned. Once that job fell through I did contact Ashton to let her know and to please let me know when she would be available and I would work around her schedule. This is when she asked me when I would be available and she would check for cancellations and get back to me. I gave it a week and checked back in with her no response and attempted one last time before writing my first review. Not to mention THE ONE APPOINTMENT I CANCELLED (no frequently) I never received a response from her that I cancelled I also had to check back in with her to make sure she received my message to ensure she would have time to fill that slot.
