I was in town working across the street and ran over to this cute place in the snow! I love the jelly beans at the end! Such a nice touch! I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was great! read more

Came for lunch with some coworkers...I had the bacon cheeseburger w sweet potato fries...cooked very well....would order again.

My kids and I were so excited to try this place. We aren't from the area - just passing through from PA to Rochester. Well.. we walk in to be "greeted" with "How many?" No warm welcoming smile or "hello" from the hostess. We are seated then "greeted" by the waitress with "Can I start you off with some drinks?" Again, no proper greeting. The food was actually pretty good.. but not once did the server stop by to ask how things were or if we needed anything else. Also, I glance up at the counter and notice the display of crayons and coloring pages - perfect for toddlers! Not mine I guess. At this point I'm feeling like the lack of warmth is personal since I can see and hear cheerful greetings and goodbyes between the staff and other patrons. My son (2 yrs) and I finish eating first and the server asked if we were finished before taking our plates away. My daughter (4 yrs) is still finishing her hotdog. The server brings the check and actually says "thank you" with a little enthusiasm. As I'm taking care of the bill I here my daughter say "I'm still hungry." I look up and see that the server has taken her plate away before my daughter was finished eating. Nonetheless I give the server a $6 tip on a $20 bill. I gave her more than she deserved, but less than what I would have normally given under satisfactory circumstances. We get up to leave and of course as we are walking toward the door , we don't get a "goodbye" or "thank you come again" or have a nice day" - NOTHING but a glance in our direction. At this point I stop and grab the servers attention and let her know that the food was great, but the service was the coldest I'd ever experienced. "Oh I'm so sorry" she says.. to which I reply, "No, I don't think you are." I know that some establishments dread children, but mine were well behaved and controlled. The area was kept neat without messes and food everywhere. I'm struggling to figure out what exactly it was that prompted such piss-poor service. I'll never know, because I'll never be back! read more

Driving upstate and stopped in on the way. Clean, quick and friendly service, and good fresh quality food. This is a great place for families with decent amount of parking. The menu has good variety. The burgers were better than most specialiazed burger spots without the fanciness. And if you like Jelly Beans....:) read more

Really disappointed. The reviews looked so promising online. I ordered a steak salad- the steak was tough and the salad was maybe a third of a bag of iceberg lettuce. The eggs and potatoes were both cold. The bacon was tasty read more

Passing through Corning on a family road trip we stopped here for dinner. The menu is diverse enough so everyone found something they wanted. The portions are large enough so we could share when we (inevitably) liked the look of what was on other plates. Service was friendly and quick. When the bill came, three adults and two children had been very well fed for under $10 per person. It's a small and unassuming building that you could easily pass right by. We're glad we stopped. read more

The food was not what I expected. I ordered the apple bacon & cheddar frittata. What I got was bacon and cheddar with apple chunks and cinnamon. In addition, it was freezing We asked if the wall air conditioner could be turn off because it was blowing on us and our food directly making the food cold. The waitress said she had no control over it. The table was wobbly. I am glad I am just pass through probably won't go here again. read more

Passing through Corning and having stayed overnight just down the road, decided to give this place a visit (based on other reviews). While a bit skeptical of a restaurant w/this name, am certainly glad to have overcome that bias. Very basic diner-type layout which seemed immensely popular w/locals. On the recommendation of the waitress, had the French toast made w/bakery-fresh cinnamon swirl bread...very, very good. The egg could have gone a little deeper into the bread but, on the whole, very good. My partner in crime had a more basic eggs/home fries/toast order...also very good w/great potatoes. This place, name notwithstanding, is definitely a keeper. (BTW, the relatively nearby Glass Museum is way cool and worth the stop!) read more

Across the street from the Ramada. Best breakfast out I have had in a long time. Waitstaff was pleasant and efficient. Coffee could be stronger in my opinion. Upon checking out you are treated to Jelly Beans. Lots of locals and prices are fair. read more

Jelly Beans has something to offer everyone. The extensive menu takes a few minutes to navigate. The family owned atmosphere is a welcomed change, knowing you are supporting the local community. The food is made to order and delicious. They are great with special orders (they may add on a fee for extra items). The portions are large, usually enough for two meals. The omelettes are definitely make for 2! When they have the pot roast special, try it! They offer many side dishes to suit everyone's taste. The wait staff is very helpful and pay attention to keep beverages filled, remove dishes, supply extra napkins and such. The decor is with bright colors and each meal ends with a small bag of 5 jelly belly jelly beans. read more

Loved this place. We probably would never have checked it out if we hadn't run into an old friend at a reunion in Rochester. What a gem. It's just off the highway (they even have one of those "Food next exit" signs). The breakfast menu is large. We had pancakes and an omelet, both of which were superb. The service was outstanding as well. It seems to be a place for regulars and families. If I lived nearby I would be one of those regulars. read more

Nice, friendly place a minute off the highway. Varied menu with lots of choices. I got a frittata with peppers and spinach, husband got an Italian sausage and egg wrap. Both were very good. Waitress was very nice and helpful. read more

service was nice and food was good, however due to covid, many things were taken off the menu. bonus points for the jelly beans after the meal :) read more

White traveling with my daughter from Massachusetts to Ohio a few weeks ago we found Jelly Beans on the Yelp App. What a wonderful eatery! The house was full of local patrons and when we had our breakfasts we learned why. The food was plentiful and delicious! We met one of the owners, the founder of this sweet place, and had a delightful conversation with him. We would highly recommend Jelly Beans, and when traveling along the Southern Tier we will most definitely return! read more

Great service, great breakfast. Clean. A nice little gem in an extremely diner heavy town. Way better than we expected, especially for the area. read more

Jelly Beans is a decent little place with large menu, reasonable prices, good food, generous portions, and most of the staff is quite friendly. The downside is the acoustics leave a lot to be desired. It's hard to hold a conversation at the table when they are busy. read more

Finally found this fast food alternative half way through our regular long drive. Food is diner, slightly better than straight Sysco-diner-in-a-box. Atmosphere is great, service good, colorful and both family friendly and adult-beverage serving. Large clean bathroom with baby unit in the mens. We will be visiting regularly as we drive past on 15. Edit: On our most recent visit, it was clear that they have 1-2 interesting specials each night. We didn't partake as we happened to be in the mood for basics, but that is an option. read more

Loved it from the time we entered. Friendly fast service. Awesome food and menu offerings are ample. And prices are CRAZY cheap!

Very kid-friendly diner (as the name would suggest). All of our food was good, but the best was the chicken Caesar pita, which was not only very tasty but also HUGE. read more

Eat breakfast here instead of Denny's or Bob Evans. Support local businesses. Really. Coffee is good. Food is fresh and tasty.

My family loves this place. Very family friendly, but you can also get a glass of wine. The food is delicious and the staff is great. A favorite for breakfast or lunch!! read more

Crossed the road to go here from our hotel on a whim. It was superb. Excellent wait staff, made us feel super welcome. Tasty and cheap food. We had the appetizer platter and couple of other diner-y things. Cheap beer and wine too. And they give jellybeans with your check. A great experience. read more

Great food and service . Best breakfast in the area. Highly recommend the chicken Cesar pita.

Great food...service can be slow on busy days like Sundays. I've never been there on a weekday. Good variety on the menu.

Had low expectations coming in, but the food was great and the service was excellent, too. I really liked it and will remember this one as a place to stop on my next long drive upstate. read more

It's a little diner in Western New York, so I am a little worried about talking it up to the point people have unrealistic expectations, but the food is so good and the service is friendly just like the other reviews say. I got the chicken leek linguine and the sauce was delicious. It tasted like steamed mussels sauce--tomato chunks and wine. The garlic bread was made with a hot dog bun. So it's not gourmet. But this food is definitely made with care and attention to detail. The chicken was very fresh and cooked perfectly. read more

My wife and I stopped in for dinner 11/04 based on the recommendation of the Hampton Inn. I ordered the Monte Carlo with onion rings and my wife had a cheeseburger. I was blown away by the size of the portion and did my level best to finish it. That sandwich was amazingly delicious. We had a side of cole slaw that was crunchy and great. The server (Ii believe it was Cheryl) was courteous, our food was served hot, and the prices were fair. When you leave, you get a little bag of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. Pretty cool. Too bad they are not closer to 245 miles from our home or we would return on a semi-regular basis. read more

Stopped in for lunch on way to Hershey. Great food, reasonably priced, excellent wait staff, very clean facility. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all served all day long. Everything you could want in a diner. read more

Great place! We have a camp near here and we were looking for a great place to eat that was not a chain, we found it! Prices, food, service all top notch!! The restaurant was clean and neat, so was the staff that's very important to me. We will be returning every time we are there. Glad we stopped and gave it a try! read more

Excellent down home cooking. Great coffee. Relaxed atmosphere. We had the sos and it had a great smokey flavor. Home fries were nice and crisp. Waitress was spot on with service. When the check was presented we got jelly beans. Will be back. read more

We stopped her en-route from Canada to DC. Yelp reviews helped us pick a locally owned restaurant, rather than a chain! LOVE the decor - and the waitress was very helpful and thoughtful. The food was typical diner, with very generous portions, and everything was freshly made there. Very tasty. Great to have Jelly Beans with the check! Definitely come back when we do the road trip again! read more

Arrived in town hungry and went to Jelly Bean for dinner. My husband had a BLT woth onion rongs which was very good. The onions were hot and delicious. I had the broccoli alfredo which was the best ever. It came with a salad and garlic bread. Also a single serve wine for $3.50. The whole meal was delicious and a real bargain. read more

A reliably tasty and pleasant restaurant. Always impressed with the food and service.

The food arrived cold. I told the waitress and she said Oh, sorry and walked away to wait on another table. She stopped back about 10 minutes later and dropped off the bill without saying a word...my guess is she realizes that there wont be a tip. read more
