Good food and service even though really busy. Food came fast, too. Eggs and French toast were fine. Coffee kept coming

The food was good! Classic diner food and delicious. But the place was filthy. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months

Found this restaurant on the way to watkins Glen race track. One of the best breakfast places I have found in this area.

We discussed what I wanted and then she recommended local wines to pair with my meal. Everything here is farm-to-table and the quality of the ingredients are what stood out in this experience. I started off with an order of the house sourdough bread. Nothing fancy, but everything I wanted. For an appetizer, I ordered the PEI Muscles as recommended by my waitress. These were Prince Edward Island mussels, cilantro and garlic in a red curry cream sauce served with warm baguettes. This was incredible. The flavors, the sauce, the crispy bread, it all went so well together. For my main I ordered the Duck Margaret. Dry rubbed duck breast, rosemary polenta, asparagus, pickled celeriac, and a side of ancho chili sauce. This dish was on their specials menu for the day however I have seen it listed on their website previously. The duck was tender and juicy, the asparagus cooked to perfection, and the polenta took this dish over the top. For me, I was not loving the ancho chili sauce, so I was very thankful to have this on the side. Graft is currently rated a 9.9 on my Beli and this is all thanks to their excellent service and the fresh high quality ingredients they use to prepare their food.

Didn't mind too much because we didn't have to be anywhere though so enjoyed savoring our drinks and people watching since we were on the sidewalk. Perfect fall night for just that. For cocktails, we got the Lakewood sparkling And a glass of red wine. The sparkling went great with the Mussels we got for our appetizer. Also enjoyed our entrées of Halibut and Chicken. The halibut was definitely better and more interesting. The chicken was fine just not as much flavor. Probably wouldn't order it again.

After a not so great experience at Sapalta, we were a bit rushed to find a place for dinner on a Saturday night, which is no easy feat on a summer night. Considering the yelp reviews missed the mark with Sapalta, we figured we'd take a chance on Blue Pointe Grille and as soon as we walked in, we knew we had made the right decision. Firstly the wait staff were so kind and attentive. I wish I knew the name of our waitress, but right away she made us feel welcomed. She started us off with a bread basket and we had a couple of cocktails. For an appetizer we tried the fried calamari, mainly because I'm a sucker for banana peppers (or cherry peppers) with calamari. The calamari came with a pepperoncini and caper lemon aioli, which it didn't need but it was a nice twist considering most places will serve calamari with marinara. For dinner we split a bottle of wine, and opted for their catfish special and their chargrilled frenched pork chop. I was advised that the pork chop was a large cut of meat and would take some time to cook through which was fine because we had opted to sit outside and were delighted to watch the sunset. The entrees were excellent, and came out quicker than we expected. Overall, we had a great experience. If you have the chance to sit out on their patio, I definitely recommend it as you'll get beautiful views of Seneca Lake, and the boats coming into dock. Afterwards, I recommend taking a stroll down the pier to take in the sights. I'm glad we ignored the yelp reviews and opted to dine at Blue Pointe Grille.

On this occasion, we waited 10-15 minutes before being put on a wait list/given a buzzer. The hostess was busy doing things other than greeting and seating guests. It seems the staff are all trying to do multiple functions and the result is extremely inefficient. As other reviews have shared, the service is also not friendly. We arrived shortly after at 7:00pm, received our buzzer between 7:20-7:30, and got the notice our table was ready at 8:00. (We were told there would be around a 15 minute wait to be seated upon arrival.) The service was extremely slow. For reference, we were a party of 4 and didn't order anything from the bar. Our appetizer plates were wet from the washer and our order included 2 salads, but we did not receive any silverware. It was 10:00 before we were able to pay our bill and leave. It is quite pricey for what you're getting, but it is a waterfront and tourist destination. I would not recommend it if you're just trying to grab a snack or quick dinner, expect to spend a few hours here.
