    two glasses of beer

This place looked cooler driving by than when arriving. It says it used to brew its own beer but no longer. As they use to make their own beer but it didn't turn out well and ended up serving other beers. The service was good, food was alright, nothing that great. It was an ok place to visit and have fish.

Wine country for craft beer tasting? Not too shabby. Prices were fair for the portions. Food was full of flavor as well as the beer. Service was ok but it appeared that one person was waiting on a lot of tables. Atmosphere was what you would expect for a brewery/ restaurant. They do have outdoor seating that I would not recommend as the traffic from the stop light backs up to the seating and can be loud. Otherwise not a bad choice to stop in and check it out.

We were sure where to dine so we decided on this place. Luckily when we got there, they were still accepting customers. They started turning customers away cause of the staffing issue and the wait for anyone coming in would be 30-40 minutes. There's a sign outside that specifically says that they are understaffed and the wait will be long. No joke. It took us forever to get our orders taken, drinks to be brought to us and for our food to be served. I think a good 40 mins. I think this is a repercussion from Covid and there's really no choice. Food is only mediocre. Draft beer is warm. Nothing special. Definitely won't be our first choice if we ever come back to the area again.

Was extremely underwhelmed by this brewery to be honest. There was nothing that stood out and screamed "come here for a good time!". It reminded me more of an old family restaurant than a brewery. The beer selections were okay. A little bit of everything. We went during COVID times so I think there were usually more options available than the 7 we seen. The food options were strange actually haha. A few sandwiches and burgers as you would expect to see at a brewery but they also had "bowls" available. Thinking that was the signature dishes they were offering to set them apart from others, I ordered the jumbalaya bowl. It was alright. Tasted like the boxed Zataran's rice, which I am not complaining about because I LOVE that stuff. It just left me wanting more. The highlight of the night was that I was drinking their pumpkin ale, which was perfect for the fall day we were there, and they added a delicious pumpkin spiced sugar rim to the beer. I've never seen that done before and it was a great idea!

Stopped in at this pub/bar spot in Watkins Glen area. From the outside looking in, it looks like a popular spot, seats were filled, beers were flowing. We all got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich, Pulled pork Sandwich, and the Cauliflower tacos which were all good. Nothing here tasted amazing but it was good enough for us. If you come to this place and try to order something more than a burger or Sandwich and you try to get fancy with it, you may leave feeling very disappointed. Know where you are ordering from, order what you know will be good and you will be fine. The only issue i had was that it took a long time to get our drinks each time. Maybe i am a pain, most likely. But it just seemed like a long time.

    Is the place Dog friendly?

I have personally never seen a dog in this restaurant. I'm pretty sure they are not allowed.

We're considering a visit soon and wonder if there are menu items for vegetarians. Too often a waitperson will suggest a few side dishes for a meal. We're looking for a nice entree that doesn't use meat. What will we find?

Hi Larry! We are very veggie and vegan friendly and could accommodate you with many options that aren't going to leave you hungry afterwards. Our customers love the Mushroom Banh Mi and the Black Bean Burger, which are both fully vegetarian. We love… Read more

Usually bar food is terrible. But she said this place actually makes great food. And I said OK, I'll give it a try. My friend's go-to order is Philly cheesesteak, so I ordered the same thing on a wrap. The sandwiches and wraps comes with chips and they add an extra charge if you substitute it for fries or onion rings. My friend's husband got the deal for a delmonico steak and 2 sides for $19. We also got chicken fingers and fries for her kids. We called in the order, and they said it would be about an hour. Which is fine since we were in no rush and they were probably busy. The food was ready when we went to pick it up an hour later. Our whole order came to around $66 with tip. The food was hot and came in these Styrofoam boxes. There was a very large generous portion of chicken tenders, and the fries looked good. The Philly cheesesteak looked interesting as they used ground beef instead of thinly sliced steak. The onion rings were huge, and the chips looked like fresh kettle cooked chips. The Philly cheesesteak tasted ok, I think it's better than a sandwich rather than a wrap. I only ate half but was still very full. The onion rings were very crispy, and tangy sauce that came with the onion rings reminds me of the Burger King onion ring sauce but better. It was pretty good. We ordered the delmonico steak with fries and Mac & cheese. The Mac & cheese was really good, it tasted fresh, and was made with sharp cheddar cheese, and it was really melty. The chicken tenders were amazing. I haven't had chicken tenders this good in years. They were not dry at all, and were flavorful. The only downside is my friend says sometimes depending on the chef, the food might not be that good. But it seems like for now if you go on a Saturday night you'll have amazing food!

Lovely space with lots of interesting decor...even the bathrooms!…read more Staff was great on my recent late afternoon visit. He was very friendly and provided some great information on the cask-brewing process and how it differs from the American process. The few beers in my flight (about $12ish) all tasted great but lacked the traditional carbonation found in most typical beers. This, along with being served at room temperature, is a major difference from other beer I learned. The cask ales are naturally carbonated giving it a milder, less harsh, and maybe flatter taste. Most other beers are force-carbonated. While not available on the day I visited, I would loved to have tried some of their food options. Maybe I will the next time I am in the area. There is a small "shop" in the corner which sells British-based foods including teas and sweets. Some lovely views on the back deck!

Both the fries and the curry were exceptionally flavorful and made me rethink about English cuisine (kidding). My wife bought a gin and tonic with a great citrus gin and Mediterranean tonic which went down smooth and was actually tasteful even to myself as a non-drinker. Service: Nicky who helped us with the drink inside was so kind and patient and gave my wife recommendations which is how she ended up with her great G&T. The owner, Bradley, was not only an amazing gentleman but super funny and kind. This is the type of place you go to because it makes you feel warm and at home. Aesthetic: English goods line the back wall and artifacts from England line all the other walls, feeling like you are in a pub somewhere in southern England. Such a cool feel.

We had the chance to try some great beers, and one unique experience stood out: mixing two beers together, a concept similar to a blend in the wine world. As the bartender put it, "It's a game we like to play." On tap, they had a solid lineup: 1. Hector Logger - A traditional lager (4.9% ABV) 2. Goatmaster Kölsch - A crisp Kölsch (5.1% ABV), which I tried and really enjoyed 3. RedBeard - A Red Ale (5% ABV), a reliable go-to beer 4. Cream Ale - A bit different at 6.7% ABV, more robust than the typical lower-ABV versions 5. Golden Crush - A hazy IPA (5.1% ABV) that had nice fruit-forward notes, but not overpowering 6. X IPA - An Imperial IPA (7.8% ABV) Mosaic! Mosaic! - A Pale Ale (5.2% ABV) that followed the traditional pale ale profile and was very enjoyable 7. Goatmeal Stout - An Oatmeal Stout (8.1% ABV) Then came the blends--something I hadn't seen much of before. The only one I tried was 1. Goat Juice, a 50/50 mix of Hazy IPA and Kölsch (5.1% ABV). It was bursting with amazing flavors, the best of both worlds. Some of their other blends included: 2. Red X - A mix of Red Ale and Imperial IPA 3. Goatgasm - A Kölsch and IPA blend 4. Headbutt - A Stout and Cream Ale combo I tend to gravitate toward Hazies, Kölsches, and Pale Ales, so this place hit all the right notes for me. I can't wait to come back and see what new creations they have on tap next time!
