There are not words to describe what was the best breakfast I've ever eaten in my life. This place is so well-thought-out. The food is absolutely unbelievably amazing. The ease of ordering is lovely. The service is fantastic. I like the vibe but service is very slow. You order at the table and then wait, wait and wait. Best part is that they ask for tips upfront so while you are stewing at the table, there is no urgency seen. Ordered drip coffee with half and half, coffee came quick but had to go to the bar to request half and half. Then wife went up to get stirrers. Food had good presentation and tasted good. read more

Arrived at 11 on a Sunday and was told it would be 40 minutes for food, was seated right away, ordered at the counter ( can also use table QR code). Food came out in about 15 minutes. The place is bright, hopping, great staff- check with the front hostess for seating because there's a queue and you can't just walk in through the back door and take a momentarily empty table that others at the front are waiting for. read more

What a great find on Yelp! Spent the morning at the Corning Museum of Glass and needed a bite- we found Ella's and could not have been happier. The Chicken and Waffles and the Chicken Bruschetta sandwich were amazing and the Huckleberry Lemonade was the perfect drink to go with them! Make sure you go!!!! read more

Checked out this restaurant located in Corning, conveniently near to the Gaffer District, Corning Glass Museum and the Wegman's store. Upon entering you are supposed to grab your own menu, decide what food you want, then go to the service bar to order. Since, it was our first time, we sat at a table and then noticed this after a couple people ordered their food. The menu offers a gluten-free bread option(upcharged) and an authentic sourdough option, which is nice for those who choose to avoid gluten. Sides cost extra: Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, and Root Hash. The food came out quickly. My partner ordered the Sawtooth Omelette and liked it. I chose 2 eggs with toast, along with two sides, Bacon and the Root Hash. Here's my complaint. Normally, to have a Root Hash option would have been lovely, but sadly, the Root Hash came re-heated and so dried out that whatever root vegetables were in it, they were un-recognizable. It didn't taste bad, but it didn't taste good either. The bacon had not been freshly fried up or baked. Instead, it obviously had been reheated, either microwaved or by another method giving it an unappealing appearance and tough consistency. Our bill came to just under $35. I get it. It's a tough business. Restaurants need to keep food waste to a minimum, but that's no excuse for serving reheated food that has been sitting since the breakfast rush, We won't return. read more

We wanted to love this place. They have a few positives. They offer some tasty bites. They suffer in attention to detail, and for the price, I expected better. The cortada was ok, but probably better to not attach the name if it's not done right. Call it an espresso. The canned specialty soda, dropped off in its can with no glass or ice to serve it, felt like it would be better off from an overpriced food truck. No complaints about their smash burger, the flavors were good the cook was good. Let's talk fries: overcooked, bitter, dusted with the requested flavorings but somehow the staff missed the side of aioli that was ordered. When reminded, they brought out a small cup of cold, freshly pumped, plain mayo--tasted like bulk kraft. Again, if we wanted food truck service we wouldn't be seating for restaurant pricing. Do better. We won't be back. Pretentious and disappointing. read more

We found Ella's Acres on a trip to Corning after visiting Cornell. We wanted a welcoming atmosphere with delicious food and a cozy vibe. We got it all! The staff and service was also fabulous. We ordered at the counter found a nice table in the corner after ordering the waffles and a tofu scramble. My son also got one of their cold coffee drinks which was topped with granola.
