Ordered takeout after a long day of walking and hiking. The food was ready early which was perfect since we showed up earlier than expected. Very engaging and helpful! I ordered a Hot Honey Pepperoni to go but decided to have a glass of prosecco while I waited. After seeing the pizza, o could not wait to try it. I had a slice and WOW! Visited here after visiting the Corning museum of Glass for some quick bites. The place was busy in a good way. This is a sit down restaurant that also takes to go orders. We ordered and our food at the front counter and it was brought out to our table. We ordered a cheese pizza with a pepperoni calzone. The food came out pretty quickly however it was really oily. The pizza here is delicious and the slices are huge! Truly one of my favorite pizza places. My husband and I also got subs the last time we were here and they were also gigantic and really good! You order at the counter and then your food is brought to you. Everyone we interacted with was friendly enough. The ambiance is similar to your typical fast food place. Pizza was delicious. We only got extra cheese and it came out so hot. Texture and ratio of cheese to crust was perfect. Service was very considerate given how busy it was and even offered complementary water cups. You were able to see whether you wanted to and wasn't overcrowded. I completed a review the day prior to this one and we returned to try another sandwich before leaving town. It was lunch time on a Monday and the restaurant was busy, which is always a sign of good food to me. We had the Italian sandwich and requested it hot, a house made chocolate chip cookie and a slice of the pizza with the pesto sauce. The sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. The bread is made in house and is soft with fabulous flavor. The ratio of meat and vegetables to bread was perfect. Always the best pizza! Although today I'm a suggestion I tried the eggplant on a plate with the bread in the side as opposed to an eggplant parm sandwich. Yummy! Have the buffalo wing pizza, the hot honey, pepperoni, pizza, garlic, knots and the Greek salad all equally as excellent as the first time we stop by this place is a gold mine of quality Italian food. The last time my wife was here she tried the brick oven pizza place and liked it a lot. So this time when we were coming through town, we decided to try this place for their New York style pizza. They have several special things going on here, including the pickle pizza and Buffalo chicken pizza. We did not try the latter, but we did try the former and it was delicious. Our group of three shared the antipasto salad and it was more than enough for all of us. We also enjoyed the garlic knots a great deal. They came out of the oven, screaming hot with marinara sauce and were quite a treat. We preferred this place to the other one and would happily stop here again when in Corning. read more

We ordered pizza from our hotel and the pie came at lighting speed to our hotel. As we ate it by the fireplace in the hotel with our feet up I was totally in heaven. I tried all four different slices we ordered....I did it for the yelp review, don't judge lol. The buffalo wing pizza (gluten free) IMO was the best of the bunch. Loads of flavor and the crust / dough was not heavy so you can eat a few slices without feeling laggard after. The everything pizza had a bit too much going on with how many green peppers were slathered under the cheese, the gf took out quite a few and the peppers still overtook most of the flavor profile on the everything pie. The Eggplant pizza slice I had was breaded, I was expecting it to be grilled for some reason but I could not complain it tasted pleasant and not every pizza shop offers the topping of eggplant. The other slice I went with was pepperoni and broccoli, unhealthy and healthy toppings to counterbalance each other, it was very good. When it was delivered to the front desk at our hotel the associate said the pizza spot we ordered from is his favorite and he was going to give it another ten minutes before he broke into the pizza for himself lol, I am glad he didn't as pizza by the fireplace ended a great night on this cold day in Corning, NY. Right on Market Street we stepped in only to be behind a few people on line. (not used to seeing this on Long Island.). I used this time to snap a few pictures of the venue. It was full and loaded with people and lots of positive energy. All the team here is extremely busy. This shop is large and was filled. Lots of people going through a lot of food. Made it to the team member who took my order with a big smile. After putting it in the oven for a few minutes it came out and I took it outside to eat. It's really nice to sit outside and the beautiful weather made it a treat. The pizza is good here, really good. It is a nice thin crust with a great crunch. Easily foldable and extremely tasty. The pizza was delicious! They sell by the slice or a whole pizza. The sandwiches are great too. The chicken wing sandwich is spicy but delicious. My husband had the egg plant parm sandwich. Two people could split a sandwich. One of my kids had the hot ham and cheese sandwich and enjoyed it. One of my kids had a slice of chese and pepperoni. Great customer servixe and tasty food. Just ate lunch here in a Friday around 12:30. The place was busy which usually means it's good!! There were no instructions that you had to order at the counter. After we figured that out and ordered, we were given no instructions on how to get our food. We sat in a booth and waited. Finally someone brought our food to us. Do not get a cheesesteak sub! It may have been the worst Ive ever had. The meat was dry and tastes like hamburger. They threw some American cheese on top and baked it in the oven.
