    Lunch!
    Brian P.

If a nice freshly made thin crust pizza is your jam this is your place. This is the thing of family arguments but when I'm in Corning we have to stop here at least once to grab a slice. Honestly for a family of four this is an inflation buster as well. Very reasonable. Very friendly and attentive staff. Very clean and plenty of space inside or on a nice day people watch on Market Street.

Vegetarian pizza made with basil pesto base and not the typical tomato sauce. So good! We had their smallest pizza which was huge. Perfect for 2-3 people to share. A large is for a group of people Crazy big! Service was good and place was clean and fun set up. We were traveling around area and this was a nice place to grab lunch or dinner. They also have subs and salads and other options.

I completed a review the day prior to this one and we returned to try another sandwich before leaving town. It was lunch time on a Monday and the restaurant was busy, which is always a sign of good food to me. We had the Italian sandwich and requested it hot, a house made chocolate chip cookie and a slice of the pizza with the pesto sauce. The sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. The bread is made in house and is soft with fabulous flavor. The ratio of meat and vegetables to bread was perfect. The cookie was ooey, gooey delicious. My husband said the pizza was great with fresh vegetables and pesto sauce. I wish we lived closer, I would frequent this restaurant.

Always the best pizza! Although today I'm a suggestion I tried the eggplant on a plate with the bread in the side as opposed to an eggplant parm sandwich. Yummy! Nicely greased, with plenty of sauce and cheese and the bread and butter was to die for. It's loud and crazy busy, but clean with fantastic food.

The last time my wife was here she tried the brick oven pizza place and liked it a lot. So this time when we were coming through town, we decided to try this place for their New York style pizza. They have several special things going on here, including the pickle pizza and Buffalo chicken pizza. We did not try the latter, but we did try the former and it was delicious. Our group of three shared the antipasto salad and it was more than enough for all of us. We also enjoyed the garlic knots a great deal. They came out of the oven, screaming hot with marinara sauce and were quite a treat. We preferred this place to the other one and would happily stop here again when in Corning.

The Sausage Rolls are amazing ! At $4.00 you get a generous portioned sausage roll with out of this world marinara sauce. It's filling too. The exterior breading was light and almost flaky I loved it! So delicious. Fantastic customer service!

We stopped by on New Year's Eve for a couple of slices of pizza - Hawaiian, Veggie & Cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious. Pizza is freshly made and the crust is just right. Not too cheesy and you can definitely taste the freshness of the pizza. Has a nice family diner vibe to it with red booths. Will definitely want to stop by if in the area.

Very casual Italian pizzeria, both the servers and the patrons. Warm and cozy. I like the ambiance here. It's almost like having pizza in your living room without a couch and a TV. Feel free to have fun and talk loud with your buddies here and no one will bother you. Although you might find better pizzas somewhere else in the neighborhood, the food was certainly not bad here. In fact, the Chicken Caesar we had was pretty tasty. Free parking on weekdays after 5pm as well as weekends and holidays.

You not only are they one of the best pizzas around, but it's located in an awesome market street to enjoy family time during the weekend. The food is always fresh and their service is always friendly Worth going any time we're in the great state of Pennsylvania. We have family in Philly and always drive up there for this place

Pizza slice with Pepperoni and Broccoli, Pizza slice with Eggplant and Pepperoni

We ordered pizza from our hotel and the pie came at lighting speed to our hotel. As we ate it by the fireplace in the hotel with our feet up I was totally in heaven. I tried all four different slices we ordered....I did it for the yelp review, don't judge lol. The buffalo wing pizza (gluten free) IMO was the best of the bunch. Loads of flavor and the crust / dough was not heavy so you can eat a few slices without feeling laggard after. The everything pizza had a bit too much going on with how many green peppers were slathered under the cheese, the gf took out quite a few and the peppers still overtook most of the flavor profile on the everything pie. The Eggplant pizza slice I had was breaded, I was expecting it to be grilled for some reason but I could not complain it tasted pleasant and not every pizza shop offers the topping of eggplant. The other slice I went with was pepperoni and broccoli, unhealthy and healthy toppings to counterbalance each other, it was very good. When it was delivered to the front desk at our hotel the associate said the pizza spot we ordered from is his favorite and he was going to give it another ten minutes before he broke into the pizza for himself lol, I am glad he didn't as pizza by the fireplace ended a great night on this cold day in Corning, NY. As always people SYOY!!!

    Delicious pickle pizza

This pizza was DELICIOUS! We had 4 people so got three different kinds: pickle, sausage pepperoni, and peppers and onions w grilled chicken. Everything was tasty but the PICKLE PIZZA WAS AMAZING! So good in fact we ate here twice in one week and got the pickle pizza again but this time tried the house salad and garlic knots which were also very yummy. Inside is casual and warm due to the pizza ovens so one time we ate outside at one of the sidewalk tables.

definitely the best pizza place for miles around, but do avoid the Sicilian pizza. It's not really a pizza.

Mckelvey was my bartender/server. She was sweet and welcoming. She mixed a terrific Negroni! Backpedaling a bit. I arrived at 6 and by the time my cocktail was in front of me there was a wait. I was disappointed with the apps.. all fried..I'm sure delish but I wasn't in the mood. I had Utica beans and kale (had the hot pepper symbol but not at all spicy ) $16 with a side meatball $6 and sausage $6. Portions were generous and the atmosphere was lively. Everything arrived quickly. Same for my bar mates. I will go back and request extra extra cherry peppers.. Oh! And get the lemon marscapone cake... worth every calorie!! Mange!

When we arrived the place was packed, but sure enough, our table was waiting. First came water. Then our server Lydia came over to ask for our drink order. Because I was driving back home, I only wanted one craft beer for the evening. My wife was having wine. We each ordered the Caesar salad, which was half of a Romaine lettuce sliced lengthwise dressed with cheese and dressing. It was tasty, but a lot of food. I ordered the fra Diavlo seafood pasta with rigatoni. My wife had one of the specials, which looked a bit like beef on weck without the sesame seeds. Mine was good, but not all spicy like I was expecting. Hers was actually quite good. Both were loaded with garlic, which seems to be a staple of this place. Because it was a Friday evening and the place was packed, the noise level was quite high. This was especially true because behind me were two large tables of noisy diners. Once they left it was back to a more normal level. Our server Lydia was terrific. Overall staffing was quite good. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Well go back!
