This is the spot to hit when you're in Bath, NY! I called in my order--super easy and super friendly staff. When I showed up, everything was ready right on time and exactly as ordered. I brought the pizza and chicken tenders to a business meeting, and they were a total hit. For myself, I got the chicken salad and added banana peppers, giardiniera, ham, and turkey for just a couple bucks more--so worth it! It was fresh, flavorful, and filling. I was still full at dinnertime. Prices are very reasonable--honestly, a great deal for the quality and portions. We stopped by here for dinner last Saturday. We met the owner, Enrico. We had a great conversation and/or debate. This pizza shop has about 10 tables for patrons to sit at. It's well lit and I loved the mural it was a nod to Bath. We enjoyed a great pizza pie and an even better Stromboli. The pizza is soft doughy but very tasty. The chicken cordon bleu was very taste w the Alfredo sauce. The Italian Stromboli was great tasting. His wait staff are very attentive to patrons needs. Our only issue was the water it's not what we're use to although it's Adirondack water. Not sure when I'll be back but they have lots of stuff to try. read more

Working out in bath one I day I decided to stop in for a slice. Not knowing there was a pizza place across the street from where I was I ended up driving to this one. I pull in at 11 and the place doesn't look open. I really wanted pizza so I try the door anyway. It opens and the smell of fresh hot pizza greets me at the door. Music was kinda loud but oh well. My daughter asked for Pizza from here, so I ordered her a pepperoni. A few slices had maybe one or half of a pepperoni on one slice . Unbelievable! Extremely disappointing. Great pizza break right off the highway! Clean and friendly attentive customer service! We ordered a large half pepperoni and cheese steak with banana peppers and mushrooms. The pepperoni side had two types of pepperoni and the other side had a ranch base. I'm not a fan of ranch on pizza, but somehow Rico's made it delicious. As more and more local pizza places in Bath have been closing, it is great to have genuine Italian fare still around. Rico's is fairly new to Bath (about five years old) as they already have locations in Corning and Horseheads, NY. The only thing that I have heard close to negative about this location is the pricing. I can understand where that argument comes from, but also the fact that this is not Pizza Hut or another chain should be taken into consideration. They could be pricey to someone expecting a 'value' for a big order of pizza and wings for a large family, but the quality here cannot be outdone. Their pizzas are amazing. So fresh, unique toppings, and delicious wings. They have delivery, which the Bath Pizza Hut does not even have, & they offer so many different salads and fried sides. They primarily have New York style thin crust, but also Sicilian sheet pizza style as well. My family orders from this location often. They have an on-going special where you can order a large pizza and then get a small cheese pizza free (as of October 2016.) This is great for my younger brothers who generally will not eat the Pagliacci pizza that my parents love! Give it a try! My top picks: California salad, any of the calzones, Chicken Cordon Bleu pizza, cinnaknots, and of course, the cannoli! What a fantastic pizza!! Delicious crisp crust, lots of fresh cheese and wonderful fresh sliced mushrooms made the perfect pizza. Then as a sweet touch for my husband's birthday he received a mini cannoli that was out of this world. There's five people behind the counter looking very lost, the phone is ringing off the hook & instead of answering, the mangers response is to "take the phone off the hook." The trouble with a lot if pizzarias is consistency. Think Pizza Hut. They are mediocre, but consistent about it every time... Rico's can be a real crap shoot. Sometimes they are on their game, and others not so much. Those latter moments give you a pizza that is greasy or soggy in the center--and crust around it that is more than a bit of a task to chew. After sampling their wares across 7 years, we have finally given up and taken our business elsewhere. Don't look for comfort or ambience in the dining area. For the most part it is a few tables lumped together in a smallish area that is usually too cold--and not properly cleaned up after previous guests. I suppose if you have kids that are messy eaters, then it is all perfect! read more

Clean place, good food, friendly staff. They call the pizza "New York Style" but it is not exactly like the pizza I have had in the city. Still, it is petty good. More doughy than most others in the area. The place is a bit pricey, but they have an excellent selection including a huge number of specialty pizzas. Delivery is fast and arrives hot. A tasty stop right off the highway as we drove home from Finger Lakes. Good pizza, good toppings selection. Garlic knots were okay but I probably wouldn't get them again. Staff was busy but friendly.
