The pork cheeks were incredible. We took home leftovers and loved this even more the next day

The food was great, but we sat at the table next to the door, a huge mistake when it is 10° outside. Every entry and exit was a cold blast. Would highly recommend reservations to avoid the bar area in cold weather. Staff was friendly, food super, and the drink menu was great.

Very good food with great ambiance. Friendly and professional service. Expensive but so worth it

    New York Strip

The restaurant deco is very nice. The service is good. Our waiter was friendly. If it is only these 2 factors, I would give it a 4 stars. For appetizer we ordered the Mutabal. It was good. I was looking forward to the New York strip steak. It was a let down. The flavor was good and was cooked to order (medium rare). However it was VERY tough. I don't even know if it is a choice grade. My partner and I ordered the same, but he had a real steak knife with serrated edge. It looked the same as mine and I did not realize that mine had a smooth edge. For $50 per steak, we should have ordered something else.

Hands down the BEST nicer dining experience on market street if you are a foodie and wine aficionado. The vibe can be casual but also nice enough for business dinners and special occasions. Surprisingly, the vegan cheese board is drool worthy (even for non vegans) and the spicy chicken and waffles is always a favorite. Lamb lollipops are to die for. The smores dessert is the best experience in the winter and their extensive wine cellar and cocktails are fantastic. Beyond that, I would say their service and hospitality is one of the best on market street. Would highly recommend!

The service was fantastic. Even my grandson loved him.

I love this place so many gluten free options Took my 2year old grandson he ordered the swordfish he loved it I loved it my boyfriend loved it and there is even desserts I can eat too. Being celiac is very hard when going out to eat many times there are things labeled as gluten-free but they're really not. This is actually gluten-free. If it's on the menu, they even have a separate fryer to avoid people getting sick. The service was fantastic.

Great food , wine, beer and cocktails. Really nice bread and drinks. Bubbly sangria, a cider donut beer and most especially the applely ever after martini. Best cocktail I've ever had! Dinner was chicken and waffles. The chicken had a little kick and the waffle was made with local cheese. The kale and sweet potato has was great too. Ended with a yummy crème brûlée. Great service and atmosphere as well

Hi! Thank you for asking! Saturday nights can be very busy (always busiest from 6-8pm) so we recommend making reservations. We do usually have tables on our more casual side available for walk-in's (same menu no matter where you sit) but they… Read more

Since we've been out all day we were really hungry so we decided to eat something before we performed. At the moment there couldn't have been more than eight people in the whole place inside and out on the deck total. We were handed menus that had no prices on them. I ordered the buddah bowl with chicken strips and my husband got a quesadilla with steak. It took about 40 minutes for the food to come and the boot bowl was mostly a big bowl of greens with what couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chicken chopped up on it. It was very tasty. My husband's quesadilla was the size you would expect loaded with cheese but literally one little tiny cube of steak in each of the six wedges. His quesadilla was tasty We only ordered water to drink because we were going to be singing later and it took about 15 minutes for the water to get to us. She "forgot". The whole time we were there nobody checked on us and place never got very busy no more than maybe eight people the whole time. We decided not to stay to sing because there was practically nobody there and the people who were there were outside on the deck while the place for the performers was inside in the bar. And as far as we knew we were the only people there who were planning to perform. The Buddha bowl which would've made a nice side salad to any other meal was $14, while the quesadilla was $13. In my opinion overpriced for what we got. We also bussed our own table.

There's a friendly dog off leash who seems to be the house pet, but he definitely comes looking for food so be on the lookout. Service is friendly and helpful. We started out with some beer and ordered a pint of the two goats, red ale and a flight with the Seneca Lodge, peach blonde, war horse, and two of the red ales because they were out of the last one. Actually really enjoyed all of them. I normally go for darker beers, but the peach blonde was refreshing and would be perfect for summer. To start we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was OK but needed something crispy then pita. A toasted crostini was definitely called for. For entrées, we ordered two bistro burgers, which were both cooked nicely and complimented our beer nicely. Probably could've used a little more tomato jam, but we enjoyed our meal and the reasonable prices.

The timing wasn't ideal, and at first, the staff member at the counter seemed hesitant to offer a tasting, expressing concern that we might not have enough time to fully enjoy the experience. Understandably, with just 20 minutes left, they didn't want to rush through what should be a relaxed, immersive tasting. However, after we reassured her that we'd be happy to share a tasting and keep things brief, her demeanor quickly shifted. She transitioned from cautious to warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating, making us feel truly welcomed despite the late hour. In moments like this, it's always great to see how much the right attitude and hospitality can enhance a wine tasting experience. The Tasting Experience We sampled five different wines, each offering something unique. Even though we were moving quickly through the tasting, we still took time to appreciate the flavors and characteristics of each pour. Ithaca Red - A Standout Favorite One wine that immediately stood out was the Ithaca Red, a dry red with bright fruit-forward notes of raspberry and strawberry jam, balanced by a medium body and a lingering spicy finish. It struck that perfect balance between vibrant acidity and smooth tannins, making it an incredibly enjoyable, easy-drinking red. It was so good that we didn't hesitate to grab two bottles to take home, ensuring we could enjoy it again later. Lemberger - A Dark, Spiced Delight Another highlight was the Lemberger, a varietal that often flies under the radar but consistently impresses me. This one had deep, rich dark fruit flavors that reminded me of ripe blackberries and plums, complemented by a lightly spiced finish. It was well-structured yet approachable, a perfect choice for those who love medium-bodied reds with a little complexity. Though those two stood out the most, every wine we sampled was well-crafted, balanced, and a true reflection of the region. A Fun Bills vs. Steelers Moment In addition to the great wine, we had an unexpected and fun football-related conversation with one of the winery's owners, who happens to be a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan. As soon as he spotted my Steelers jacket, the conversation naturally steered toward football--a classic AFC rivalry moment. We ended up chatting about the infamous Bills vs. Chiefs game (yes, that controversial first down call!), and we found some rare common ground--both agreeing that Buffalo did, in fact, get that first down. It was a fun, lighthearted exchange that added another layer of personality to the visit. Moments like this remind me why I love visiting small, locally-owned wineries--you're not just drinking wine, you're connecting with the people behind it. A Winery Worth Revisiting Despite the short timeframe, Six Mile Cellars left a lasting impression. From the quality of the wines to the friendly, engaging atmosphere, it was a great way to wrap up a full day of exploring wineries and breweries. I'd love to return with more time to spare, perhaps on a sunny afternoon when I can relax on the property, enjoy a glass of wine, and soak in the surroundings without worrying about the clock. This visit may have been brief, but it certainly won't be my last. If you're in the area and appreciate well-crafted wines, welcoming hospitality, and a little football banter, Six Mile Cellars is absolutely worth a stop. A perfect way to end an already fantastic day.
