    Chocolate Soufflé

An amazing dinner that is worth trying at least once! The service was spectacular and the ambience is chill and romantic. They have free valet parking! The complimentary popovers were DELICIOUS! Drink: Highly recommend the English milk punch it's a smooth and super sweet drink. The blood orange fizz was also good, but not my favorite of the two drinks hors d'oeuvres: The HAM & GRUYÈRE CROQUETTES melt in your mouth! The PORK BELLY & DUCK RILLETTES were so yummy and my favorite of all the appetizers. The CRAB & SESAME BEIGNETS are also a MUST try! Appetizers: The Scallop dish was fresh, citrusy, and the melon bites were a great combination Entree: If you want a fish dish then the DOVER SOLE AMANDINE is the one you should try! It was spectacular. It was a flavor bomb in my mouth! Dessert: I really enjoyed the chocolate soufflé with the cherry ice cream

Wow! It's been a month since I was there and I'm still salivating. What a truly great experience we had at Jeffrey's. It was for my, and my friend's, birthday. I'm going to start with the bad... parking suuucckksss. They do offer valet, though. Now into the good. From the hors d'oeuvres, to the dinner, the cocktails and dessert. The amount of care and detail they put into not only making delicious food, but how It's presented on the plate. Our waiter was freaking amazing and of course I'm terrible with names but I hope he's still there next time! We ordered so many different hors d'oeuvres. We almost tried them all. With the truffle deviled eggs and ham & Gruyere Croquettes being my pick. I had the Dean & Peeler (Based in Texas) 8 oz filet and it was perfectly prepared. And let me tell you right now, those seared mushrooms are literally the best mushrooms I've had anywhere. Highly recommend them! I didn't get a pic because I tried one and then forgot all about my fellow Yelpers at that moment. My favorite cocktail was the English Milk Punch. Shout out to Finn and his fellow cocktail magicians. For my "dessert" I ordered a glass of the Seppeltsfield 2002 Tawny. Holy crap, the flavor was amazing. It's definitely sweet so if you're not into that... then that leaves more for me! It gave me maple syrup vibes. Those Australians know what's up. Too bad one can't find a bottle anywhere to have at home. I could probably go on but hands down the best dining experience we've had in a very long time.

The best steak of our lives and we have eaten our fair share! Combine that with impeccable service and a wine list to die for and the evening was absolute perfection.

Jeffreys, a meal so complete, that it can be described by one word; immaculate. What an amazing establishment that is an EXPERIENCE in fine dining, yet still maintains a classy yet not snobby Austin charm. Food - I very rarely find restaurants executing in all phases but there was not a single menu item that wasn't perfectly seasoned, and delicious. Nothing felt like it was mediocre. From the appetizers (the greatest deviled eggs) to the entree and sides (the sides were not an afterthought!) everything was amazing. I had the Mishima Ribeye. Such a perfectly cooked medium rare, no hard gray band. Just a perfect cook. The butter flavor with herb and garlic was also perfection. Perfectly salted and a great crust. Truly mind blowing creamed spinach, delicious mushrooms and the desserts had a depth of flavor that was out of this world. Service - The waiter was fantastic. Playful and witty, rolled with my groups terrible dad jokes and everyone who helped was on top of drinks, picking up items, and keeping the table neat. Jeffreys is a MEMORABLE Meal.

Reservations are pretty much required. Food is mostly legit at a hefty price tag. The popup bread is complementary and amazing. I need to learn how to make this. We got 2 different steaks. The 6oz mishima tenderloin filet - this was the best steak hands down I've ever had. I don't eat at top steakhouses often, but this is hands down the best steak by far anywhere. Well worth the $95. Great feature, perfect temperature, Melted in your mouth. Great Smokey flavor. Amazing. Absolutely zero need to use any of their sauces. The 12oz mishima ny strip was good, but honestly for the price point, I'm not sure it's justified. This weighed in at a whopping $120. It was good, but didn't knock my socks off like the tenderloin did. After the filet, I was a bit disappointed here. We also for the tortellini - amazing. So many unique flavors in a bit. The fries, while stacked in a jenga block set look, were aweful. It tasted like yucca. Service - A+. I came here with a friend, but lots of couples as it did have a romantic vibe inside.

I don't know why it's taken me so long to go here, but boy am I glad I finally went. Jeffrey's is tucked away on a quiet and unassuming street. When you walk in, first thing you'll notice is that the restaurant is deceptively large. The bar is beautiful, and the rest of the restaurant will remind you of an old school Italian mobster restaurant (in a good way!) The service was phenomenal. Multiple people came to service our table for water, bread, food, cleaning the table, etc. The food was amazing, but I'm going to give you the secret star of the show: the rack of lamb. Honestly may be the best lamb that I've had in Austin (and I've tried a bunch of different places!). We will for sure be back. Thank you for making our anniversary celebrations memorable!

Spectacular restaurant, what a special treat. I truly loved this dining experience. The service top-notch as well, our server Sergio, enthusiastically described, in detail, every item on the menu. Helping us navigate and decide what to order. The food was fantastic, everything we ordered was fresh and well prepared. I would highly recommend this restaurant next time you find yourself in Austin, Texas.

Such a pleasure every time I come here. The staff is always so friendly and attentive and can we talk about the food!! I came for a late birthday light dinner, I will always recommend the tortellini, croquettes, truffled deviled eggs, and beef tartare for starters. I also split a ribeye either my partner. We sat in the lounge which was dimly lit and lively but we were still able to have great conversations. I ran into an issue with the tortellini being a little too salty this time and it was immediately replaced with new bites. Impeccable service and impeccable restaurant 10/10 if you're in Austin co

First visit to Jeffrey's to celebrate my birthday, and the experience lived up to the great reputation of this 50-year-old Austin institution. Standouts were the popovers, truffled deviled eggs, lobster bisque, steak (of course), and dessert. 5 out of 5 Appetizers -Complimentary popcorn - just okay. -Complimentary popovers with house-made ricotta - I love popovers, and these did not disappoint. -Truffled deviled eggs (2 per order) - a standout! Intensely flavorful and very rich; one per person was more than enough. -Fried frog legs (2 per order - new menu addition) - served on a mousse, deep fried with the bone exposed for easy eating. Tastes similar to fried chicken wings and was a fun, bite-sized app to try. -Lobster bisque - tender Maine lobster chunks topped with rich sherried cream and parsley were served inside a vol-au-vent (a light, hollow French puff pastry). The bisque is poured tableside, which was a nice presentation touch. You can also ask to split this portion for two. Mains -16oz ribeye from Dean & Peeler Farm - delicious, juicy, and nicely fatty. -Pekin duck breast au poivre - pepper-crusted duck breast was cooked rare, and served with roasted broccoli rabe, Le Puy lentils, fennel, and caramelized figs. It was a good balance of sweet, bitter, and rich, fatty flavors. -Side of steak fries - perfectly fried and crispy, served with chimichurri aioli and ketchup. Desserts -Cranberry tartlette. I wanted the baked Alaska with eggnog ice cream and spiced persimmon (flambéed tableside), but due to allergies had to opt for the cranberry tartlette instead - and thankfully it was a standout as well. The perfectly baked tartlette was topped with tart but not sour cranberries and citrus jello pieces made from Buddha hand lemon. The Pinot Noir ice cream genuinely tasted like faint wine, and the light cheese custard accents had a cheesecake-like texture that balanced everything well. -Birthday cake! Our server brought out a complimentary birthday cake ice cream sandwich with a candle - it's a sugar-cookie-style cake enveloping a block of ice cream. I found it to be a nice more traditional birthday dessert that contrasted nicely with the tartlette. Service: Very attentive and thoughtful, especially regarding my allergies. Ambience: Intimate, warm, and classy, with enough separation between tables to feel private without feeling stiff.

Top notch dinner experience and wonderfully delicious food and drinks!! The service was incredible from start to finish. The vibe inside is dark, romantic, and cozy yet classy. There are lots and lots of wine options, with the menu being on an iPad. For apps, we ordered the beef tartare and the scallops. Both were amazing and full of flavor, the tartare coming with just two bites per order. I had never tried tartare before and really enjoyed this take on it. For our main we ordered an 8 oz filet with the onion ring, béarnaise sauce, roasted garlic, and garlic butter. The roasted garlic was the best side and the star of our second course. Was possibly my favorite part of the meal. When you order any steak you get to choose as many steak accompaniments as you want. Can order all of them if you wanted! We also ordered the creamed spinach as a side that was equally as magnificent. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate soufflé and was also brought out a birthday dessert for my friend's birthday. The soufflé takes a little time to prepare and was taking longer than usual so our waiter brought us out a complementary crème brûlée while we waited, so nice! The brûlée ended up being my favorite dessert of the three!

Perhaps the best restaurant in Austin. Curated steaks are severed perfectly in a romantic and intimate room filled with 2 and 4 tops -- and an obvious aversion to groups Appetizers and salads are all perfected worthy of the old "let's get one more order of those!" Dessert was serviceable

We had a wonderful experience at Jeffrey's! The staff was friendly and accommodating--we had a last-minute addition to our party, and they graciously made it work. We arrived early, so the atmosphere was quiet, and service was prompt and attentive. Serena and her shadow trainee took great care of us, along with at least three others who served food, cleared dishes, wiped the tablecloth, and kept our drinks filled. The highlight for me was the freshly baked popover with honey butter--absolutely delicious! The diver scallop wasn't my favorite, and there were mixed reviews on the crispy oysters. The Caesar salad (with anchovies) was tasty, but we've had better. However, the truffle deviled eggs, ham & gruyere croquettes, and crab beignets were all hits at our table. We were glad to revisit after a long time, and a couple of first-timers in our group had a great time. Looking forward to coming back for happy hour! Parking is easy in the neighborhood if you don't mind a short walk, and there's free valet. Rideshare is a good option if you want to avoid the search for a spot. -- Will be back!

I ended up waiting a little over 1.5 hrs after checking in with the hostess and we were able to snag the very last plate of paella! I've had my fair share of paella and I'm in no way a paella snob, but this one missed the mark for me. 1) the portion did not reflect the $34 price tag. 2) portions of the rice were undercooked and very hard. 3) it was way too salty. It did come with a mix of mussels, clams, shrimp, and sausage, with a side of toast, but I can't justify this part of the experience. We also ordered calamari and croquetas. The croqueta was delicious and flavorful, but the calamari didn't stand out. It tastes like any other calamari. The ambiance itself is cute and the service was great, but the food was lacking.

What I expect out of champagne. We got a philippe jouan (aka pinot noir) bottle which was so delicious. For food, we got the baguette and a egg confit dish that was divine. Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.
