They offer breakfast until 12:45. My only con would be the cleanliness - could have been a tad better. The room we were seated in could use some updates. The smell of the diner was a little off putting- kind of grungy and smelled like maybe the fryer grease needs to be changed. The booth seats are all cloth so I feel like maybe it traps smells and there's no door on the kitchen / service area so I think it may be coming from there. We specifically stopped on a road trip because the reviews were the best for the area we were in. Easy access to the interstate.

The music is my style (old rock) some may consider it a bit loud, but that's just people having fun. I ordered the filet today, it was heavenly. I have had easily a couple hundred fillets, this one was probably in the top eight. It was super tender, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was the perfect touch. Needless to say the 528 tavern is a great place to have a great meal and a beer.

The service was top-notch despite that! The bar tender fella on the patio was especially nice and super attentive despite being totally slammed on a Thursday night! We got the fried mushrooms appetizer with homemade ranch. It was excellent! Very crisp and tasty! The salad was good. The pizza with onion and basil was nicely made. Thin and crispy. And the Cowboy dinner with a 20 oz bone-in ribeye was perfect! It came with a baked potato and side salad. It made a few patrons at the outdoor bar jealous! We sat outside on the patio before sunset. Everyone seemed to be having a good time there. I highly recommend visiting this pub if you're looking for a casual atmosphere. The food was great, and the drinks were affordable.

The first thing I saw walking through the door was a framed TripAdvisor review that read, "The…read moreworst breakfast I've ever had." Right then I knew I was either about to have the worst breakfast of my life or one of the best stories. Thankfully, it was the latter. To the TripAdvisor reviewer, I only have one question. Did Gordon Ramsay personally cook breakfast for you every morning growing up? Because those are the only expectations that could possibly explain that review. This place is tiny, but that's exactly what makes it special. I felt like a regular before my coffee even had a chance to cool off. The owner, the servers, and even the folks in the kitchen made us feel like we'd been coming here for years. Sitting right next to our table was a plate of fake roaches and a pile of crooked silverware. Between that and all the hilarious signs and decorations covering the walls, I probably spent as much time looking around and laughing as I did eating. Every wall has something worth reading, and it's all part of the experience. The breakfast was fantastic, but honestly, that's not why I'll remember this place. A place that makes you laughh, treats you like family, and makes you feel like you belong before you've finished your first cup of coffee is much harder to find. Breakfast is simple, atmosphere is hard to achieve in today's society. The place has breakfast but delivers on culture and atmosphere. That's what makes it special. To the owners, thank you for proving that customer service isn't dead. You've created one of the most original restaurants I've ever visited. The food was excellent, but the experience is what I'll remember.

Walls are plastered with funny sayings and the staff adds to the irreverent vibe by yelling out loud "if you're eating, hurry up and if you're done, get the hell out of here" when it's busy and people are waiting for a table. The food is as good as any greasy diner. Basic breakfast is filling and reasonably priced. Plastic silver ware and paper plates make it easy clean up for the staff. Just be sure you check your coffee cup for chips. I don't like drinking from a chipped cup or glass and it may actually be illegal to serve beverages in those. The waitress was nice and took mine back and brought me one without chips. Although I don't think the management cares to replace them. I was trying to give the server grace for having to cater to a group of 12 by himself; however, taking an hour (and I'm not exaggerating) for all of our drinks to come out was absolutely absurd. I understand wine or cocktails taking longer to come out, but he didn't even bring out the sodas ordered until we had been sitting there for an hour and the alcoholic drinks were ready. They seemed short staffed, and also this server did not seem educated on serving efficiently. I ordered the cherry citrus spritz & I was a bit disappointed. I just personally didn't find it sweet enough. I wanted to treat myself but I very quickly got buyers remorse after being disappointed in it. Regardless, $13 for a mocktail is too much. I ordered the vegan pasta, and the noodles & veggies were delicious! I don't like impossible meat, so I just picked out the sausage--unsure how that may have tasted. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their food, and the food even looked beautiful. I would certainly give this place another try, just for how great the food was! I think this restaurant has plenty of potential. The food is great, the dining area is beautiful, and there's a pretty view outside as well. Some re-training or coaching staff members, particularly our server that evening, would really elevate the experience of dining here.
