Then there were the hash browns. They use the patties like you would get at a fast food restaurant. To make homemade biscuits and gravy is so simple and cheaper for the restaurant to make. The hash brown patties is basically saying, "I just don't care." Homemade hash browns are more impressive on a plate and again less expensive to make.
