Very disappointing experience. Communication was poor, and the electrician ultimately never came to do the work.
I was counting on the work being completed as scheduled, but the lack of communication and reliability made the experience extremely frustrating. What was even more disappointing is that he actually told me that another, more profitable job made him ignore his commitment!
This is a one-person operation, and unfortunately, it seems that if a more lucrative job comes along, $fuck your schedule and your project can simply be disregarded. That is not how a professional business should operate.
I own several rental properties and was looking for someone I could build an ongoing working relationship with. Unfortunately, the "pay me now" approach cost him much more than just this one job. Had he simply held up his part of the commitment and followed through, there could have been plenty of future work.
If you need an electrician who communicates clearly, respects your schedule, follows through on commitments, and can be relied upon to show up, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
