Terrible experience during our visit to Galleria Lighting with ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! We stopped in on a Friday afternoon to evaluate exterior lighting options. We walked through the store, found the exterior lights, then looked at other displays. During our 5 - 10 min in the store, we saw 3 employees each sitting at their desks. There were no other customers in the store yet NONE of the 3 employees greeted us or even acknowledged that we were present. Incredibly POOR SERVICE!! Shocked that the employees are either not better trained to help customers or simply did not care. Disappointed in this store and would not consider purchasing lighting here given other good options in Denver. read more

The energy in this place was, well, off. It seemed like these people were strangers in their own land. "Where's this book?", "Where are the samples?", "When do we order....?" I ended up leaving with more questions than answers, but if they were selling FRUSTRATION, then I more than got my money's worth. For being a bunch of coky sales guys, I'm amazed they had their act together enough to even get dressed and find their way to work each day. read more

I have some expensive low voltage track lighting and the transformer blew. I checked with several sources to replace the transformer and housing. An electrician quoted me a price of over $1000 to totally changer my whole lighting system. Galleria helped me find a better transformer and housing. The total cost? $252.00! read more

Liked the selection. The first order went well the second order took months to sort out. Ordered in March and received an inoperable light and a defective light. Had to go back to store several times and keep following up. Finally in August received last piece for lighting. Was swayed to purchase lighting that required customization. Would have gone a different direction if I realized it would take 5 months. Ok if you don't need help or have issues with your order. Good luck if there's a problem. read more

I had a fantastic experience at Galleria Lighting yesterday. Previously, I had found that buying large, foyer lighting is next to impossible online because I have to see the fixtures lit up, from all angles, and check out the light patterns they throw on surrounding walls. Plus, I have the challenge of making sure the scale of the fixture will work in my 16' high space. Galleria nailed it!! Poor customer service. Disorganized operation. Called me to tell me that my order was in but couldn't find order when I showed up for pick up. When I finally did get my lights & got home, I found they had ordered two sets of brackets for the same lights. Called my rep to inform him & get refund, but he didn't return my phone call. Went back in person & was told they would have to call manufacturer & then call me back. Six days later with no phone call, I called again & left message. Of course, 24 hours later I have no return call again. Looks like I need to go back in person yet again. Don't make my same mistake going to Galleria. read more

I am in the process of finishing my buildout for my art gallery which requires exceptional lighting. Upon visiting Galleria Lighting & Design, their showroom is clean and fresh and the staff are very friendly. I actually had 3 different employees work with me on 3 different occasions and all three took time to help me. In fact, I chose some new lighting for our tracks and had some issues with my electricians in getting the proper dimmer built in. Although my electricians seemed clueless regarding LEDs, the staff at the Galleria were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Today, I met with Keith who is the manager and he spent about 30 minutes testing my track head (which I did not purchased from them by the way) and making sure it would work correctly with the system I have. These guys are great and I'll be referring all my customers to them. read more

We visited Galleria Lighting and Design's showroom last Saturday and had the pleasure of working with Don Peterson. He was one of the most knowledgeable and helpful salespeople we have ever encountered. We had many questions and he explained everything clearly at a level we could understand. He spent considerable time with us and really made an effort to understand exactly what we were looking for and then help us find that - products I had been unable to find even with extensive online searching. He offered to work with our electrician if he had any questions or concerns regarding LED under cabinet lighting as Galleria has some unique products - all much better than we had been able to find elsewhere. Oh, and did I mention their prices are very reasonable?? This was one of our most positive experiences during our entire kitchen remodel. I can't imagine wasting time going anywhere else for any lighting product! read more
