Because of the size and weight, it cost an additional $1,200.00 to have the ceiling reinforced and hung. This piece is now over $4,000.00! Just one week from the three year anniversary of purchasing it, the chandelier just quit working! The manufacturer, Troy Lighting, simply said, essentially, Too Bad, you've only got a one year warranty. UL, however, stepped up and connected us with a specialist in the lighting repair and restoration field and determined it could be repaired!!! We began purchasing from UL nearly 20 years ago and, today, more than 85% of the fixed and non-fixed lighting, and at least 35% of accessories, in our home are from them. Because of their professionalism to not just helping the customer, but also taking a proactive approach to doing what is right, our future lighting and home decor needs will come from UL!! Thank You!

Worked up a large home package with a known designer in the area, who then parted ways with the client for that. The Designer let me know this when it happened, and I informed the homeowner I would not be able to honor those prices if she was not going through a 'trade entity'. Urban Lights took those trade #'s and sold it all directly to the homeowner for a matching price. Some places will protect that Trade discount, as is only right - this is not one of them, evidently.

Their showroom is beautifully curated and showcases an incredible range of lighting, hardware, and plumbing fixtures. Everything from stunning kitchen faucets and sinks to bath fixtures, shower systems, and some of the most gorgeous decorative hardware. They also offer wellness products like saunas and steam, all under one roof. I incorporated several of Ultra's light fixtures into a showroom I recently designed, and they were absolute standouts. The quality, aesthetic, and pricing are exceptional, and having the ability to see so many of their products installed throughout the IDC building gives designers such a helpful "real-world" perspective. Beyond the product selection, the team is knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely hands-on. Whether in the showroom or the warehouse, every experience has been organized, attentive, and incredibly supportive. I highly recommend Ultra Design Center to anyone working in the design or construction space!

I just moved a piece of fine furniture into my kitchen…read more When was the last time you ordered a piece of furniture and got something * MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL* than what you were expecting? That was my experience with ordering a pantry from Modern Bungalow. It took a few months to arrive, because Amish master craftsmen took the time to build an absolutely stunning piece of furniture, from carefully chosen pieces of gorgeous maple wood. If the pantry were small enough to fit on a dresser, I'd call it a jewelry box; it's that beautiful. The pantry is amply-sized. Using traditional hand-tooled and mortise-and-tenon joinery techniques, the pantry is meticulously constructed. The substantially deep shelves, which I have already loaded with giant heavy canned goods (like San Marzano tomatoes, for making my famous pasta sauce), and bottles of imported vinegars and California's finest olive oils, not to mention a cartload of baking supplies, provide ample storage for any manner of pantry goods, and the hardware used for the pantry doors is substantial enough to keep them from ever sagging. Thank you, Modern Bungalow, for helping me to obtain an heirloom-quality pantry that my kids will likely fight over some day, right after my funeral.

Solid Beauty, Stylish Comfort…read more I've never had a crush on a piece of furniture. That was before Modern Bungalow. The sight of my headboard now makes me sigh happily like a school girl. It all started when I couldn't find the right bedframe. The decor style of our home has been inspired by The designs of Frank Lloyd Wright and Charles Rene Macintosh; hardwood, understated, tasteful. But I could not find anything that suited me. Thanks to Modern Bungalow, our Cal King wooden headboard was custom created, delivered, and assembled - it will last a lifetime. I am in love with the warm rich honeyed hues of the wood and elegant design details. The solid construction provides a foundation for nights of restful sleep.
