Total Electric's number one priority is customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. We take pride in our work and assure our future customers we take each review seriously. After reviewing the comment from M.L., we found it to be unfounded. We asked the customer if we needed to remove our shoes - he said no after inspecting the bottoms of our shoes. We laid down tarps where we working - that is where we placed the tools and ladder. We noticed a small wobble in the fan and we resolved the wobble. There was no trip charge charged - we do not have a trip charge. The customer seemed completely satisfied and even said he would be calling in the future. Unfortunately, we do have to charge for our time and considering the amount of work we did, relocating and installing the fan, the bill apparently was more than M.L. expected. But he did not show any sign of discontent - until we checked our reviews! (Please, if you have a complaint, call the office first so we can resolve any issues). Everything was done in a professional manner. We have reached out to him with no response. After reviewing M.L.'s previous Yelp review record we found an uncanny number of negative reviews towards other local companies. This amount of negative reviews just is not normal in our opinion. Seems he lives to write poor reviews on Yelp! Please take this into consideration and read our multiple, positive reviews! We are like most small companies - we strive for customer satisfaction! Fantastic service. I had a tankless water heater installed and wired to the house. It was a very large unit and involved lots of new wires being run through my house. Way over my head. I called Total Electric and made an appointment. Brent came out and looked at what I had going on and gave me a quote for the work to be done. Pricing was not overpriced. Very good pricing for a highly skilled crew. I let Brent know that I had family coming in and was on a crunched time frame. He was able to make it all happen on time. Even with some extra surprises thrown in by my older house. It is very nice to see a Business in the service industry treat their customers properly and do fantastic work, going above and beyond their competition in the industry. We were absolutely delighted with the service. We needed an outdoor light replaced which was located 3 stories high. Maybe that is why the first electrician we called never bothered to call back. Brent took time to come and look at what we needed, even though he was busy on another job that day. He gave excellent advice on what we needed to buy from Home Depot, including replacements for 3 indoor fixtures I was having trouble with, He replaced the outdoor security light fixture from the roof, and even cleaned out a gutter while he was up there. The charge was so reasonable I am sure he made no charge for the first visit. And telling us what to purchase (instead of costing him time to go get it) must have saved us money also. read more

Wish we had called Total Electric from the start. We are a non-profit organization located in Genesee. We were having all sorts of electrical problems in our building and had 3 different electricians come out, but all 3 were not able to solve the problems (and we still had to pay the bill, of course). These guys were absolutely amazing! We had a portion of our house lose power and had trouble getting an electrician out to where we live. Once we found Total Electric our problems were solved.
