We may have them install them in our new home as well.

They came and gave us a reasonable quote, we're quick to get an appointment afterwards and efficient the day they came out to do the install. We were asked to buy the recess lighting ourselves and that they would do the install. Left a little bit of a mess which is why it's down to a 4 star. Would use again though!

I am bummed to have to update this review, but our experience with Flower Electric has gone a bit…read moredownhill. We had them come out last week to install two ceiling fixtures and run electrical to both. We were quoted 2 hours and notified that their pricing had increased to a $250 flat fee for the first hour (previously $160), then $160 per hour thereafter. Pricier than before, but we decided to move forward since we were told it should only take two hours. It ended up taking 3 hours and 15 minutes, and we were charged a full 4 hours. When we got our bill, it was much higher than expected and lacked a cost breakdown, so we called to clarify. It was then that we learned the price per hour after the first hour was actually $195, and we didn't have anything in writing for the original quote, so we couldn't push back. Our bill was adjusted down by about $200 due to administrative errors, but overall we spent twice as much as we expected to pay. I understand that prices increase, especially in today's economy, but between such a price jump ($125 more in just the first two hours of service) and being misquoted for how long it would take, we unfortunately will not be moving forward with Flowers Electric.

Abel is professional, courteous, respectful, genuine, knowledgable, trustworthy, a good listener and is so so easy to talk to. I was looking for someone to do some rewiring in my condo located in Castle Rock, along with installing a Ring doorbell and a transponder. Abel came out and scoped out the job, gave some recommendations, we shared some ideas and feedback he immediately provided me with a fair estimate to perform the work and immediately commenced doing the work. I was truly impressed with his knowledge of his work, thoroughness, and efficency. He did an outstanding job and was very respectful to my property. An A++ job. Abel is a great guy and I would highly recommend him to do electrical work of any type. And, with all of his experience and knowledge I would trust Ablel to do any other projects that I might have in the future. And yes, he truly is a Master Electrician and contractor. Thank you Abel.

I contacted SJO Electric on the advice of a friend and I couldn't be happier! Ben and Geoff came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. I asked them to look at all the new electrical work and within minutes they identified several significant issues (not the first problem I had with the contractor I hired to do the reno) and on my request provided a quote to correct the issues. Ben and Jeff came out the next week and spent 4 hours correcting the problems (upgrading breakers, code compliance, adding GFI protection, and adding boxes) in my new kitchen. They had to add a box to the exterior wall of my kitchen (since it was already finished) so they also installed a very nice exterior outlet. They were punctual, friendly, courteous and cleaned up after the job, but most importantly competent, skilled and efficient. SJO Electric not only repaired the faulty work of another firm but gave me peace of mind that the work was done correctly. I now feel safe in my home again! I cannot begin to express how satisfied I am with the work they performed at a reasonable price! Everyone I dealt with, Cassie, Lisa, Ben, Geoff and Ed was professional, friendly and competent. They are also a local, Arvada based business. I will be contacting SJO Electric for any future electrician needs and will highly recommend them to all of my friends. Thank you SJO Electric!
