After a quick lunch at Don Quixote, she wanted to go shopping so we headed to AMC and headed to Ross Dress For Less to take advantage of 10% off senior discount on Tuesdays. After shopping at Ross, we had time to kill to meet her nephew and decided to move on over to neighboring Old Navy (ON). ON has been around for quite some time. How long do you ask? They started in 1994 by parent company Gap Inc. and has grown to over 1100 stores worldwide. ON's window fall display drew my friend in as there these suede boots was a fall coat that really appealed to her. We made our way in and our lucky stars lined up as the boots were in her size and had the color she wanted and had the coat in her size of extra small. She tried the coat on and just loved it. However, there were 2 things that concerned her: the weak Japanese yen against the US dollar and that many people had probably touched that coat and wanted a new one. Sadly, after going through store inventory, it was revealed that was the last extra small on hand. She asked if they would drop the price where the associate declined but instead offered to have her open a credit card for an automatic discount. My friend now declares her residence full time in Japan and the thought of billing discouraged the purchase. She instead just bought some suede boots and festive fall accessories, and then headed to the checkout line. It was disappointing that there were only 2 associates behind the counter. Those associates were assisting customers checking out where they had a lot of items. The associates engaged with the customers as we witnessed laughing here and there. Time ticked and then next thing we noticed the line grew 10+ customers now waiting to check out. We were in line for about 15min waiting until finally a 3rd associate came down to assist with checkout. Our turn arrived where we paid for our purchase and walked out. Mixed feelings on my recent visit where customer service should have been better. It wasn't meant for my friend to get the coat. I've shopped at ON multiple times previously and have also received gifts purchased here. Prices are affordable and of good quality which makes me return to ON. 2025 #65

I enter the well air conditioned store and absolutely nobody greeted me. There were two women at the registers gabbing with each other and two more in the dressing room who were also talking. I could not find my size and struggled but yet nobody helped. Finally got my sizes and went to try on, the women at the dressing room still didn't greet me. Just asked how many pieces I had. Then made me hand over the garments to which she unceremoniously tossed on the stool. It made me think she just wanted to make sure I wasn't holding any other pieces. Asked my name but didn't give me hers. Then as I was coming out I was chatting with another customer about the set I was holding which I liked but was slightly too boxy for me. The two women at the dressing room saw her and helped take her garments but decided to ignore me, so I awkwardly stood there trying to give my garments back. I literally had to force shove it at one of them to get them to even do anything. Terrible customer service. They were absolutely not inclined to help me which was ridiculous. I am absolutely confident they profile at this store. I guarantee they thought I was local. They were only talking to the haole customers. I was wearing my errand clothes so maybe I was dressed too casual for them? Hilarious but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to support this store. Two stars because their selection is ok.

When I came in Friday, there was a temporary sign saying 9am. So I left and came back. The clothes remind me of Rainbows on the mainland. Very Similar. I found several cute outfits. Pricing was a little higher but it's Hawaii.

The early hours is really convenient if I have a coffee…read morespill on the way to work and need a quick cheap wardrobe change or if I change my mind on the outfit I'm currently wearing in the middle of the day, or if I have a corporate event or date night right after work. I'd say that 90% of the time I leave with a shopping bag. Usually the red tag accessories are 75% off compared to other locations which are 50% off or none at all during the week. As for customer service, I'm usually greeted, checked on, and have no problem getting into a fitting room. Since this is a small location, the selection isn't too great, but really it's actually not that bad, which in my opinion is a good thing for my wallet. Since it's affordable clothing, it does need a little extra caution when washing and drying. After a few good uses, it's already wearing out. But can't beat the price and the everyday basics! Parking can be an issue if you don't frequent this area as much, then honestly I wouldn't even bother with that hassle. (Just pay the little difference in sales price at another location.)

My sister and I were on the mainland because we thought that the selection might be better or at least different. My sister took some photos and sent them to my niece, but she wasn't interested in anything. While walking towards Claire's from Target, I saw the sign for Windsor and took a look inside. There were many accessories and costume jewelry that were intriguing. The back of the shop had prom gowns, purses, shoes, etc. Everything was there for a complete outfit! I hope my niece can find something for the next prom here! It's more convenient than going to the mainland for a dress!

Windsor is located in the Ala Moana Center level 3 and after passing by here countless amount of times I curiously thought to check this place out and received a 20% off one regular priced item from a Yelp check in was actually excited to see what they had to offer. Lots and lots of bling and obviously clothing for a particular crowd is understood but found it quite stunning a beautiful along with some super cute totes at such an affordable prices though what a wonderful place to shop for that girls night. There was a few accessories that seriously caught my eye though decided not to get anything at the moment though the staff either left you shopping without disturbing you or just didn't care as I have no idea who or where they were but nevertheless was a lovely place to shop and know where I can find some affordable bling. Hand sanitizers available for you before your shop and after upon exit to her store Great kudos to Valerie Joseph for her prompt responses to schedule appointments and to her Instagram account for display of her new products. My most current find (Thank you Brie!!! for my first mask chain holder) is the chain holders for the new normal "masks". They are custom made by a local gal artist. Gold and silver chains with a little charm or a Swarovski crystal and a safety pin that will hold your mask. Donned properly (check the Instagram postings) it looks classy and adds like another piece of jewelry. Priced right ($20-$30 each) they make wonderful gifts (Ladies! Whenever I need something either for myself, gift or just that something kinda sorta non-specific that I'm looking for but unsure what exactly I just come here to browse every nook and cranny until it hits me. The inspiration Marshalls has given me helps in the deals I find or able to keep it budget friendly makes it totally a great reason to smile. I always find something new which always gets my noggin gears going, though their clothing area is quite smaller in comparison to other equivalent shop it's much more specific and do carry certain pricier brands and have been lucky to find a few items, it's the home items they carry here are the winner. I'm just so delighted to have Marshalls here in Ala Moana Center right on the Street Level near the post office as it's just so hard to pass them by without looking right into the huge windows filled with items I'm always just too curious to pass up...retail therapy is very real for me. I was glad to be proven wrong this visit with such a nice wide selection of shoes from various brands and great help from sales staff. I found two pairs of heavily discounted name brand shoes that are trail shoes that Iʻll be able to use for extensive walking around, that should work even when the weather gets wet! Big props to sales associate Edward who was patient with me and my family as we were shopping, bringing out several pairs of shoes and making some smart recommendations.
