2 egrs, fries and bacon

Exceptionally tasty breakfast with high quality ingredients. The tastes will take you to Paris and then back again. Croissants were flaky, tender, buttery goodness in every bite. Fresh cut, crispy bacon was divine. Cozy interior, comfortable seating, and French antiques adorn the inside, yet this place is distinctly Colorado. Service was spot on good. Jean-Pierre is pricey. You pay for what you get and what you get is really good, but seems high for the area. Not complaining, just saying.

Great croissants and coffee. Lovely space , today Easter Sunday featured a live classical pianist! Friendly and relaxed service.

Jean-Pierre offers a cozy corner for breakfast in Durango. With a wide selection of pastries and hot breakfast items it's worth stopping by! The ambiance is great with antique decor. Their team was attentive and kind. Our food came out very quickly, even on a weekend morning. The portions were a good size and the ingredients were high quality.

Bread shaped and sold as a croissant.

A croissant is a crescent shaped, buttery, layered, flaky pastry made from yeast-leavened laminated dough. What is served as a croissant at this establishment is a slightly sweet bread formed into a croissant shape. A croissant in name only.

Took my husband there for his birthday brunch . We all had the $20 mimos. A little pricey yes but it's a big mimosa made with fresh squeezed orange juice. The have great brunch items and the adjacent bakery is awesome. Our server was great and offered a free dessert for my husband's bday. The bar/restaurant/bakery is inside what I believe to be a historic building giving it a laid back ambiance.

If you're looking to try french pastries that are out of this world, this is your bakery. They also serve sandwiches and soup. Service is quick and staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Ambiance is also great. Great place to people watch in downtown historic durango.

This place was nice. So many things to look at front counter was all the pastries. Bought candyce a raspberry tart. Very good. Full breakfast menu to try all things. Sister got the quiche bacon and cheese. I tried it wow. Super good. I did the traditional French breakfast. Eggs a bit underdone but overall not bad. Loves the potatoes. Natural cut French fries. Hey. It is a French restaurant. Candyce got a build your own omelet and this was stuffed. Prices a bit high but the portions are big.

Few are the places where one can return on consecutive days and enjoy greatness..... Seldom can you order the same perfect plate for breakfast and achieve and surpass those expectations that come with that greatness... This was one of those places. Absolutely fannnnntastic, and then just as good or better on the return day ~~

Absolutely loved this place! The food, ambiance, and service were outstanding! We split the omelette and the almond royale croissant, absolutely delicious! The croissants are so flaky and baked to perfection. The omelette was also very good. We also had a coffee and an americano, which were decent but not the highlight. Loved the ambiance of this place, very warm and inviting. The server was also very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again!

The wait for a table was a bit longer than I expected, but once I sat down, the food more than made up for it. I started with the Baked Meatball Grinder as an appetizer. The meatball itself was tender and flavorful, but the baguette was on the tougher side, which made it a little hard to bite into. Still, the taste of the meatball carried the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Bolognese with Salmon as my protein, and this ended up being the highlight of the meal. The pasta was cooked just right, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the wagyu beef sauce tied everything together beautifully. Honestly, if I was not so full, I could have easily gone for another plate. Overall, this place is a good choice in Durango if you are in the mood for hearty Italian comfort food. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

I had a cream cheese sauce and mushrooms, and it was so incredible. While you order at the counter service is still good. They bring you your food. The ambience is really nice and it is a great walk after taking the Silverton railroad. Gives you a chance to walk through and enjoy Durango.

The previous owner has retired and the new owner has not missed a beat and has taken the great spot to the next level. Awesome Rye Boulevardier and Hamachi Crudo at the bar night one - great service from Tony; Back at the bar the next night and had their amazing and tender Calamari, NY Strip, Truffled Potatoes and Sautéed Mushrooms + Onions. All top notch and the steak was perfectly cooked. Once again, great service, this time by Justin! What goes better with a steak than Pio Cesare Barolo (not on the list....yet!) Very nice atmosphere and vibe; elegant yet casual. Love it!

Apparently, due to the slower evenings earlier in the summer, they packed up early. Makes sense. Next night (Friday) we arrived around 6 PM, sans-RSVP, and were quickly seated in one of the front window tables. Started off with the tomato bisque soup with wood-fired crostini for dipping ($8). The flavor of the crostini from the wood was sooo good. Can I have a 1/2 lb bag of those to go? For my entree, I had the Chilean Sea Bass special ($60) which was topped with a creamy spinachesque sauce and featured sides of carrots-squash medley and what I can only describe as a fancy potatoes au gratin with two more crostinis to lap up the delicousness. Drink: Pint of Pilsner Urquell ($7). Shout out to our server *Roxy* who is a rock star in dealing with the rare scumbag of Durango who purposely blew a massive cloud of vape smoke at a couple dining outside while she was checking on them, only to come back and spit on her when she told Señor Asshat to knock it off. Way to go, Roxy! Monster meal, unexpected entertainment. Massive hit: Seasons of Durango!
