Back again. And soooo worth it. Daniel aka Bowie was super nice and made our order perfectly! They installed new kiosks for ordering and can use online ordering. Loaded up on the seasoning for dry rub and homemade ranch/blue cheese. Cannot recommend JD's wings enough! I mean the wings are the most succulent pieces of chicken. FOOD (3/5): $22 WINGS COMBO 7-PIECE (2 flavors, 1 side, 1 dip, 1 soda): I saw photos on Yelp of wings with real garlic pieces so I ordered the only flavor on the menu with garlic in the name "GARLIC PARMESAN" but it was not the same, it was a powder, it was good, just wanted actual garlic pieces. Maybe they don't sell that flavor anymore? The second flavor I got was "MANGO HABANERO", both were average to me. I didn't know the wings already come with veggies (carrots & celery) so I ordered veggies as my side and got 2 sets of veggies. Don't make my mistake. SERVICE (4/5): If you order ONLINE, it didn't explain what the flavors are. Most of them are self explanatory but a few are just made up names so you really have no idea what flavor it is. They also don't tell you that veggie sticks already come free with the wings order, so don't waste that as your side! Unless you want double. The order said it would take 15-20 minutes and took exactly that! They packed it in the absolutely biggest blue bag I've ever seen for a food order in my life LOL! I feel like it was a trash bag? Everything from walking in the door and being greeted by their only worker that I saw was a young lady Stewart short and statue but very sweet and very accommodating in let me explain why! My first time here have a $25 coupon that they sent out to people in the neighborhood to come in and try their wings try anything on their menu for $25 no strings attached! So I did and I got two different flavors they have a lot of different flavors and different levels of heat! I got the medium level and trust me the medium level I think it was called honey sauce and it is plenty spicy oh my God I was sweating bullets! Then the other sauce I got was teriyaki very good very sweet the wings are giant and they're fresh and they're juicy not a dry Wing that's for sure but you can get dry without sauce if you want! I got the veggies as a side and I got a ton of really nice carrot sticks and celery and blue cheese for dipping! I saw some young man on the next table one of them had tater tots went the other one had coleslaw and they both were devouring them! And then I got their water which was an electrolyte water made by acai I was very impressed with their location is tiny and it's hard to find and it's in the back! But I'll definitely be back. She came out asked me if everything was okay I told her yes everything was very good that second level was spicy just like she said and she offered to bring me in fresh cup of ice with water and I accepted and when it was time for a little to go container and some a bag to put it into that was also available! At the same time they also have Pac-Man machines and Ms Pac-Man machines for free for people to just play while they're there! My meal was nine wings a side and a drink and it was $22.75 plus tax. It was such a nice portion that I end up taking three wings home and half of the veggies. And I am no small eater plenty of people were taking wings home. These guys really know what they're doing it's a baked wing it is not fried. In fact they're five year anniversaries coming up and it looks like it's going to be a packed house on September 26th from 11:00 in the morning till 10:00 p.m. and they're going to have music and actually Ice Cube will be there. I walked in and there were at least 20 boxes of wings waiting to be picked up and I could see that the guys in the back were still super busy. But you know what? I went up to the register and asked if I was crazy to place an order for five wings. She checked with the guys in back and said they could squeeze my order in and have it ready in five to ten minutes. How's that for service?! There are a few kiosks for ordering and I just went with standard buffalo sauce which is usually my go to, especially when trying a new place. It looks like they have 14 different flavors with a mix of mostly wet but some dry rubs too, so there is something for everybody. They also have some special deals for students. There are a bunch of tables against the wall all the way to the back if you would like to dine-in. Low and behold, in less than ten minutes my order was ready to go. I thanked the gal at the front counter and the guys in the back and was on my way. I got home and dug in. Each piece of chicken was a real good size, especially the drumsticks which were huge. They had great buffalo flavor and wow were they juicy! When you eat wings, you are usually not thinking about the nutritional value but it's a bonus to know they bake their wings and don't fry them. The wings also came with a nice size bag of carrots and celery and a container of blue cheese dressing at no additional cost. When it was ready, the friendly young man brought it to me and wished me a great day. Just his thoughtful customer service will have me coming back! When I got home I could also appreciate how the container was labeled. First of all, that their wings are baked, never fried. Then, he thoughtfully labeled what flavor was on each side. Extra customer service points!! I started with the lemon pepper wings. Nicely seasoned, slightly over salted, but a dunk in ranch dressing balanced it out perfectly. Next, the Big C's. Just as the young man explained, these wings had a nice honey flavor with a slight hit of heat at the end. All the wings had a good amount of actual chicken and were moist and tender.
