Have gone here a few times, it's usually very busy on the weekends. The food is typical bar pub food with an average rating. A few mentionable items stand out. Steak quesadilla are great!! Wings are very good and burgers are awesome. Unfortunately, everything else is average. Service is always slow, they never have enough help on the weekends. They just redone the place. Looks really good. I went there last night and have marinated burger. Burger was good but bit dry. French fries are almost have no taste , just a simple fries . Bar manager was friendly but bartender girl wasn't so friendly and hardly give me a service. Over all they did a good job renovating but i don't think they are ready to handle big crowd. read more

This place is great! I can't find better wings on Long Island! And if you go Thursday it's 2 for 1 so you get about 20 wings for less then 9 bucks.! They are so tasty it's crazy! The place is also filled with tv's for sports and has a very cozy feeling. I never really had anything but the wings but there other food looks great as well! Thursday wing night is pretty good, a large portion and the hot - hot sauce is really good, the wings could be a little more tender and the waitress could try and smile once and a while, the bartenders are sweethearts, but overall really good wings. I have also tried a steak sandwich there that was OK. Four stars because the wing sauce is great, the drinks and beer selection is usually pretty good (tried a chocolate beer once that was really interesting) and the deal is great. read more

Very friendly. Clean nice place. Unfortunately the food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's fabulous and sometimes it's not so good.

So this place is open and is now JC's at Mike's place too. Decent beer selection, they have Wild Turkey American Honey, which is always a plus. The wings are really good, the hottest hot sauce they have is unique and enjoyable. It burns but you still get a great taste. Some places hottest sauces are just burn. Thursday is wing night!! I was very into this place! the penne ala vodka is so so soooo good . i got mine with shrimp though and they werent jumbo or worth $8 to add the 5 of them. ill try chicken next time but really the pasta by itself is more than perfect. everything all around was delish! read more

Pretty good food. The service was not friendly though. The burger was very good (the onion straws were rubbery). Wedge salad was well done with a lot of toppings. Very limited wine selection. Excellent draft beer selection. Brownie sundae was very good. read more

Average. Crowd at the bar is a little sketchy. Food is decent. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich but substituted a wrap. There was nothing in it but super dry and over cooked chicken and sauce. No lettuce. No spice. The side of sweet potato fries wound up being all I ate. Eh. read more

worst happy hour. wine expensive, not all beer is on happy hour. Don't pay with cash because we did and the bartender said we owed more money. I think he took the extra but no way to prove it. Never going back to either location. read more

This place is fabulous!! I've eaten here twice now and am so thrilled to have found a hidden gem like this in my neighborhood. Their recent remodel is beautifully done, with simple touches that keep it casual but aesthetically pleasing. They have a quaint outdoor eating area that's covered but allows you to enjoy good weather and fresh air. The food is EXCELLENT and incredibly reasonably priced. Seafood platter special... lobster dried and shriveled. I tried to be polite and eat since my daughter was treating. After the second person asked how was everything I stated the lobster tail was not good. Waitress was very nice but said Chef stated no compensation since I ate it. I ate part of it yes but totally enjoyable. I was not looking for a free ride by no means but when they stood firm that Chef said youvate most of it, (dry, flat white meat of a lobster tail) that turned me off. Bad customer relations. I've been to Mike's Place many, many times. As I am a local. Be not afraid to go there. There is nothing shady about it. They welcome everyone. There food is Great... My wife and I usually buy a meal and split it, because the servings are large. The Hot wings are to die for... Ask for some extra hot wing sauce on the side and take it home with you... Thanks for bringing this place back to it origin. Mike's was the place to meet friends and get good food back when the owner Mike ran the place. Then it was leased and went down hill fast. Now a newly remodeled bar and restaurant is nice. If you want to watch sports and have drinks it great. If you want to have a sit down meal the opened up a large back room away from the bar flys and the good is great. Prices are reasonable and the service is good. read more

My fave local place to go. Love John & Casey behind the bar. Chick bartenders not so friendly but, that's cool I'm there for friends, drinks, broccoli poppers and coconut shrimp. Was there for birthday and whole staff sang happy birthday banging on pots and pans- love them for that!!! Comfortable atmosphere and always fun. read more

Wings are fantasticcccc as well as the mini tacos. Great service and friendly bartenders. The dining area can be a bit slow sometimes, so sit in the bar area when ordering food. It comes out twice as fast :) read more
