I have worked with JC Tree Experts twice so far, both experiences were very good. I removed several trees for the first time and removed one more tree for the second time. Javier is very responsive and we talked over text and phones. Both times, Javier made a visit to my yard and evaluate the trees situation. Then he provided a paper quote in PDF. The quote file also contains insurance information. I also quoted from some other tree removal companies and JC Trees prices are competitive. The crews showed up on time on the scheduled day. They double checked with me about the trees they need to work on. Trees are removed properly and tree stumps are removed either completely or as best as they can. This is because there are trees near the fence and I don't want to disturb the fence. They also took away the trees they removed. Everything is awesome and the only small thing not so convenient for the first time is about the payment method. They only accept paper check for the first time, however for the second time, Venmo and Zelle transfer is accepted now. Great improvement. These guys are not only tree experts, they are also magicians! They showed up with 5 men who all knew exactly what their role was and made my tree disappear right before my very eyes. One guy climbed the tree with a chainsaw and tree limbs started to fall immediately. Two other guys took the limbs and prepped them for the wood chipper. Another guy fed the hungry beast of a chipper and the last guy used a high-powered leaf blower to contain the mess. My 30 foot tree and the men were all gone in less than 30 minutes. Javier, his father, and their crew were professional and very easy to work with. They got the job done in 2 days, which was amazing for how big my trees are. I have two very large pine trees that were very close to my house, power lines, a shed, and a fence. They operated with surgical precision and were very careful not to damage anything. The only delay we encountered was due to the COVID-19 shutdown. We're still pending two replacement trees, however the nurseries are closed. Also, we did end up with a lot of wood chips left over. (I hope the pictures are still attached to this review.) Quick, professional, etc. Two years later, after trying my damndest to do it myself, I called JC to remove diseased, old apple trees with stumps. As they were in a back yard, the magic machine wasn't usable. They used good old-fashioned sweat equity. Javier responded, visited, and emailed a quote within hours. AND, was able to send a crew out the next day. And presto, job DONE. If you're really lucky, Javier Sr. will come lead the job: smart, knowledgeable, friendly, handsome (that helps the tree come out easier lol). Overall I am satisfied about the job! Good people. Crew came on time and did everything in about 6 hours or less. First time saw a high-tech equipment that can reach very high for pruning. They pruned and trimmed my huge cedar tree next to walkway, removed a small palm tree and a small tree next to my property. Also removed a big plant and a small plant. Cleaned some of the weeds and ground plants. I allowed them to leave some trimmings next to side walk to help each other. The only thing I would say is that they should not removed the entire small tree next to my property as discussed with owner's son in the very beginning. Only to remove some large branches pushing the gutter badly. I was away for lunch and when I cam back, the tree is gone. Wish it was still there.
