Despite my multiple attempts to contact them, I received vague messages about estimates and timeframes for a quote. Goes above and beyond. Jorge and his crew do great work and are easy to work with. I needed my laundry room foundation to be reinforced because my floor was shifting, along with new drywall, plugs, plumbing etc... Jorge showed up on time to discuss the project and we just connected immediately. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and provided me with a very reasonable estimate hours later. I gave him approval one day and he and his crew showed up the next day right on time. When the floors were removed, we noticed significant issues and the work that needed to be done was going to be a bit more extensive. With no hesitation, he did what needed to be done to make it right without going over estimate, he didn't ask for more money or made any excuses as most contractors would, he rolled up his sleeves and got to work making sure our laundry room was going to be reinforced and leveled as he knew that was the most important part of the job. I was so impressed with the work that was being done, that I kept adding to the project (new costs obviously) and he kept delivering day in and day out. I don't think I ever heard him say no. This review is way over due! I first want to apologize to Jorge and his staff at JC Home Improvements for not posting this bathroom renovation he did for us when work was completed. Jorge has done several jobs for us now, and he and his guys never disappoint. This by far, was a complete gut job all the way down to the studs and also involved breaking concrete to make changes with our shower drain. I wish I had taken the before pictures of our bathroom. However, it was really bad and embarrassing to say the least. I prefer not to live in the past. As always, he is very accommodating, honest, punctual, and reasonable prices for the excellent work. Once you get down to the studs, you can encounter a few set backs and surprises. We did some small last minute changes, and he never had any issues with the curve ball/s we threw at him. The list of work he did for our bathroom renovation is long, but just picture a empty canvas with only the studs and concrete slab. Jorge did our family room first, and we were very impressed with his professionalism and attitude. We have worked with other contractors that do not complete the job promptly and do not know how to work with complications. The face of our fireplace was more difficult to remove than expected, and he and his crew somehow got it done. Our closet doors we ordered were delayed, and for him it was no problem. He built the doors of the closet with 2- 36 inch wide doors that give us better access than the 30 inch doors the company did not deliver. Our kitchen had 39 year old tile with grout we could not clean. The sink was worn out, the cabinets looked dated and the floor showed wear and tear. Jorge and crew painted the cabinets, installed new hardware, installed new quartz and flooring. In other words, family and friends called it a new kitchen. All this work was done under 1 month.
