My neighbor's car delivery caused unintentional and very minor damage to my property, but Leo, the owner of Jay's Tow, came to the rescue. He drove an hour out of his way to take a look. He was incredibly professional and we worked everything out, on the spot, quickly and smoothly. Big thanks to Leo and the team for turning a bit of a stress into a positive experience! These guys are definitely top-notch when it comes to customer (and non-customer) satisfaction. Honest. Fair. Winner/winner chicken dinner. read more

I wish I knew the name of the young, polite driver who used every trick of the trade to get my car out of the muddy embankment and back onto Hwy 12 near Trilogy Rio Vista in the pouring rain on Oct 24. He wouldn't give up and he was in good spirits the whole time even though the drivers on the road wouldn't slow down. Give these guys a BRAKE because they risk their lives to help us! read more

Efron went above and beyond for my family. My wife was stuck on the side of the road with my kids. Efron and his wife literally came to the rescue. Not only did he tow my car but he and his wife waited with them to ensure they took a rideshare home. When the Lyft didn't come, they took matters into their own hands and took my family all the way home. The level of service was outstanding. They went above and beyond, they're truly the best around. read more

I actually blew out a spark plug of my Ford van. AAA and Jay's to the rescue... Capri drove up and I was instantly happier. A guy with a smile on his face, instant stress relief! It blew out on 160 and 12... Capri was GREAT. He was very easy to talk with for 1 hour... Major traffic due to the Friday and 4th of July get out of town traffic.... We drove to Sacramento. I actually had a great time with Jay in this stressful event. Cheers to Capri and Jay's Towing!!! read more

AAA sucks, but Jay's towing is the best. I've had the need to use them 3 times in the last 2 months, and they are always the most knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and professional people you'd ever want to help you. AAA on the other hand is really bad. The worst was when I was stuck on a bridge on a major thoroughfare totally blocking traffic for hours. Then a AAA truck arrived, maneuvered around me and keep right on going! Turns out AAA segments their coverage and this truck was from a different location, but AAA wouldn't make an exception. Even the Highway Patrol said that AAA's service has really deteriorated with promised response times off by hours at times. Their automated phone road assistance (Endura?) does not have the a truly interactive response such as triage for really urgent calls. The trucks they send are often the wrong rig for the situation, and their automated phone response system is really bad. Why would one of options in the middle of getting a tow truck be to buy insurance? If I'm stuck in a precarious situation I want to talk to a live person, not a limited robot. read more

On May 20, 2022 I had the good fortune to have Efron come to my rescue when my check engine light and tire pressure monitor came on. This happened in a town that I was not familiar with, at all, and about 1 hour from my home. The dispatcher said it would take over an hour for someone to come and help tow me. Efron was on the scene in literally 15 minutes. Being a mechanic, he assessed my vehicle and I did not need to be towed. He would have towed me, but why waste a service call. Talk about being honest!! I don't want anyone to be stranded or broken down, but if you are in Jay's Towing area and get Efron, you'll be okay! read more

Wow! I gave there driver an exact intersection. South river road and hwy 141 in Clarksburg. He drive by us TWICE with multiple cars and hazards on. Then the driver called us back and screamed "fuck you! You are wrong." As he passed us again (6 people shining lights at him). How in the world can a tow company through AAA hire a scum like that?! I hope i meet this trash so i can spit in his face. You are a joke! 6612369334. Talk soon read more

We broke down in Paintersville / Walnut Grove and needed a tow to San Rafael where my nearest dealer is - around 80 miles. Thankfully we have AAA, so we made the call and they dispatched Jay's towing, and Tom was the driver. Tom was very careful with loading and unloading my car, and was actually great company in the long ride back to our neck of the woods. He shared a few crazy stories of some of his experiences on the job and bestowed some interesting facts about the areas through which we drove. He was just a genuinely nice guy who played no small role in turning what could've easily been a very stressful situation into a "meh - these things happen, let's be thankful it wasn't worse" situation. If you need a tow in their area and have a choice, I would highly recommend Tom, and Jay's Towing. read more

I have no problem with their efficiency and timing... But in the process of pulling my vehicle out of the hole that I dropped it in :-) they punctured my trunk. I did not have unrealistic expectations as to the condition of my vehicle... But that particular boo boo wasn't even discussed after the fact. No mention made. No apology. read more

Really rude driver, cut us off on Hwy 12 and created a dangerous condition in traffic. If he tows the way he drives, I wouldn't want him.

My car key broke in the passenger door 50 miles from my destination. Brian was the driver they sent & he was great. He quickly & efficiently hooked up my car. Then for the next 50 miles during rush hour traffic he kept me entertained with his charming personality & "Gift of Gab". Thank you so much for giving a horrible situation a happier memory. read more

If I could give them a lower rating, I would. I used this service with AAA, and when he arrived he refused to load the truck and had me and my two young daughters try and load the truck. When told the car should not have the battery connected (as the car would smoke and burn) the driver stepped towards me and my daughters screaming that he would not load the truck. After we went inside (for fear of our safety) he reconnected the car battery, drove the car, and left it smoking as he left our house- with the car stranded. Absolutely appalled by this driver and his company, and the lack of help or understanding they provided. Will never use this company again, and strongly advise anyone against using them as well. read more

I broke down yesterday morning on the 12 right between Rio Vista and Suisun City of all places! But, I called AAA and they sent Jay's, Tom was the driver. He got me settled into the nice warm cab while he took care of absolutely everything else. He then drove me to Concord, offered to drive me home afterwards even since he had to drive that way to get back anyway - wasn't necessary, but I did appreciate the offer. Had me feeling better right away! And he was there about 20 minutes after I called - not bad for a Monday morning! My highest recommendation! read more
