They towed my car the other night and caused almost $1,000 in damage by ripping out 75% of the wires going to my ECM and instead of trying to help and own up to their mistake, she had a million excuses to get out of it. I got water in my fuel in my BMW X6 yesterday. My car actually stopped in the middle of a busy intersection in Pittsburg. I called Arrowhead Towing in Antioch and spoke with a dispatcher there. She was very professional. The conversation was very short too. I was expected to pay at least $300 to have my car towed home. The tow was only $144. The dispatcher told me the driver would be there in 20 to 30 minutes. This driver name Christian was there in 15 mintues. Christian was very knowledgable and professional. He told me that he had an event to go to at the time I needed my car towed; but that he was the only driver out there at that time. Christian is an asset to the company. Even tho' the shop where he took my ailing '02 Civic to, Five Star Automotive, was walking distance to Concord BART, he insisted on driving me. Tow company that needs huge improvements. Called them to remove a vehilce blocking my way to my house and they never showed up. Had to wait an hour to get the owner of the car to finally arrive. Waited to see if they still show and nothing. We use them for our HOA and we have been having problems with them coming out to tow abandon cars. Thank you Tristan at Arrowhead Towing, for coming to our rescue when the car "accidentally" went down a 150 ft. hill into the neighbors yard. Arrowhead was the 4th company that we called. We were told they could handle more difficult recoveries. It was almost impossible, without going through their next door neighbors yard, removing trees and destroying property. Tristan showed up for the job with a very positive attitude of "I got this! I have done more difficult recoveries." He was confident and proceeded to wrap a hook around both tires in front and drag it up the steep hill between trees, steering and maneuvering the wheels. We were very impressed. YES my car was towed here, and I am a little upset that they charge nearly $400 to pick up your car before 8am. I was also very bothered and disappointed that NO ONE in the site was wearing a mask AT ALL. I'm an AAA tow service customer. My truck broke down on highway 160, so I called them and they said they'd have a truck out to get me in about an hour. After an hour and a half, I get a call back telling me THEY'RE TOO BUSY and can't come and tow me. I was shocked beyond belief. I've been paying them since 1995, have used them maybe 5 times, and they're too busy?! They told me to arrange my own tow, and they'd reimburse me. It was pitch black dark on a barren road, and their solution to my problem was, "Tag, you're it"? I'm grateful it wasn't my wife or elderly mom out there. Thankfully, the company I called was Arrowhead. I spoke with the owner, and she said it would be an hour or so, but that she had a truck coming in shortly, and she'd see where he was. I was still on the line when she radioed the tow truck, and gave a description of my truck. Chris, the driver, was literally driving by me while I was on the phone with the owner! This towing company isn't rude over the phone like other companies and I have used them a few times when I had parking issues at my last apt complex and they used to come in a timely manner to tow. This time though, (July 21st) they were a no show. I had waited 2 hours and then called them again..the lady who I spoke with the first time answered and said that someone will be there in 20 mins when I called for an ETA. No one showed. I told her that someone was parked in my parking stall and that I have my lease and my ID to prove that it is indeed MY parking stall for MY car, not some random persons car (stickers are also required to park in the complex). The person who had parked his car in my stall lost his car keys and couldn't move. He told me to call a tow truck since his phone was dead which I was about to do regardless. I called Arrowheas towing and explained that some guy parked in my stall and could not leave. He was causing a scene (seemed drunk or something) and trying to knock on neighbors doors late at night to use their phone but he also wouldn't leave without his car so it needed to be towed also so I could park MY car in MY stall. There are 3 security guards assigned to my apt complex. Security was already there and ready to sign off on the tow. Arrowhead never showed up so I had to call the police for a force tow. It seems they didn't tow because they thought they wouldn't make any money off of it. I say that because the fact that it would cost money kept being emphasized even though it's known that someone needs to pay to get their car out of the tow yard. This call was not unique. I'm calling to get someone out of my stall and that person was fine with it since security was already called after he caused a scene upset because he can't move his car. This company could have simply said no for what ever reason and I wouldn't have been outside waiting for hours at 1/2/3 in the morning. The police were escorting him out of the complex but as soon as he left, he came right back. I don't know what the difference between this call was compared to my calls at my last complex when cars were blocking me in. I wouldn't recommend the company when you really need a tow. If you call this company, it's best to call another one right after and see which one actually shows up VS waiting for hours for it to be a no show despite the confirmation given on the second call. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because they showed up at my old apt complex and the staff aren't assholes over the phone. read more

I live in a gated community and we have assigned parking spots. Last night was the 3rd time that I've called and that I've had to stay up waiting to get a call back on when they would arrive and again nothing. I worked a 22 hour day, arriving home at 2:24am , I called at 2:26am and they tell me an hour and a half Was the ETA. I stayed up until 4:30 and I never got a call back and they never cleared the car from my spot. So now I risk getting towed by THEM because they never did their job.
