I had great service from this company. I was stuck in a parking lot with my vehicle not able to run. I wasn't sure what was going on and at one point was afraid it could catch on fire. Blew out my front tire while trying to get to the tire store this morning. Called Ramos Rescue Towing based on Yelp reviews. Driver said he was in Oakley and would take about 35 minutes to get to me in Clayton. Driver called me when he was getting close (how many tow companies do that - I've been hung out before). He literally arrived on the dot in 35 minutes (I truly was expecting 45-60 minutes). Father and son team. Father has been driving trucks for the Teamsters and towing on the side for many years, and just recently (March 2018) got back into the towing business. Hands down, friendly guys, great service. Hooked up my SUV to take to Discount Tire on Monument Blvd (my go-to place for my tire work). Very fair price for the tow. Kudos to the father - showing his son how to do the work and providing great customer service. Ramos Rescue Towing is now in my phone directory for referral. If EVER I need a tow again, fingers crossed, I'll be calling Ramos Rescue First thing no need to even compare with other companies. I called ED after being priced at 450 from ABC towing and explained my situation and we talked where to where from and he gave me an AMAZING price no haggling necessary. We set up a time because I still had business to take care so after that we met up at my 4Runner, right on time no wait. I had the pleasure of meeting Ed and Jeff who were some real professional gentlemen. They got my car up n a couple minutes. No equipment issues or confusion everything on the truck was in perfect functioning condition. Plenty of lighting because it was dark. Had a nice ride from baypoint to Brentwood. No risk or heartstopping with my vehicle on back. Smooth all the way there. These guys got some stories too! Real down to Earth guys. Kinda guys you'd have a drink with after they drop your vehicle off haha. Got it off the rig no problem and I couldn't be more satisfied. Excellent fast service, owner was also then driver. He was friendly and knowledgeable. It is a really bad day when you have to call a tow truck and he helped take the edge off the whole incident. Moreover, he was fast and did a really good tow. He was not cheap but not expensive, the couple extra dollars were worth it. So apparently he blocked my google review. I'm going to see about getting that back up. I forgot to update about this back in June or July 2019. This guy really showed up to my house after getting a bill from my insurance. He lives in the Antioch/Pittsburgh & I'm by Oakland. You really drove out here! My mom happened to be gardening in the front. He pulls up yelling at her with someone recording. She had nothing to do with the situation about the accident. I almost punched a hole through this guy. Showing up to my house? But then upsetting my mom as well. He calmed down real fast when I went outside. He said I was taking advantage of him & taking me to court. He said something about respect too which was hilarious. I'm an Army Infantry Veteran so that left me with a blank stare. Showing up to my house was the dumbest most useless & disrespectful situation I've ever been in. The court thing also made me laugh because there was nothing to argue about. You smashed my car so you pay dumbass. This old man's true colors came out. I don't even think he had insurance. I'm happy I have USAA. Use another tow service or risk getting random fees, no refund, a totalled car & a friendly visit at your home! read more

Ed Ramos was an absolute lifesaver. My truck was stuck on the freeway. I needed emergency help right away. I called several guys, but no one was willing to help me right away. Ed was busy as well, but he dropped everything to come over right away and rescue my truck from the side of the freeway. I was far from home, didn't know anyone, and I didn't know what to do. Ed went the extra mile and more. First, he offered to lend me tools to try and get my truck running. When we figured out that it was my fuel pump, I was really in a bind. But Ed then referred me to a mechanic he knew. The problem was that this was Sunday, and they wouldn't be able to get to my truck until the following day. Again, Ed to the rescue. For a very reasonable price, Ed offered to hold on to my truck for the night and tow it to the mechanic the next morning. The next day, the mechanic fixed my truck, and I picked it up, and it's better than ever. If it wasn't for Ed Ramos going above and beyond the extra mile, I would have been in such a bind in a city far from home.
