I also got a couple chocolate covered and maple ones ... the red dipped with toppings was gifted for the kids.. they also said they make giant celebration donuts! I LOVE THIS PLACE! I went in last week to place an order for a giant donut cake for my sister in law, sister & husband. The lady that was helping me was very sweet & it was very easy to do. I paid then & there. I had my sister pick up the donut cake since she lives closer to there, she told me that it was super busy, but even then a girl that works there helped my sister out because she didn't want her to accidentally scrape it. Super sweet! & they hooked our donut cake up! the taste is so fresh & not dry at all surprisingly. This place is definitely my go to now! Been coming here ever since I was a little kid so I've basically grown up on these donuts. They're pretty good every time even during stressful times such as recessions and pandemics. Love their maple donuts at well as their apple fritters. Only complaints I have are the prices have gone up over the years and their hours posted online are not consistent with each other compared to the actual hours they're open. Their website and here on Yelp (which was apparently updated a few days ago) said they were open from 5 to 2 every day but Google and the hours posted on their door said 5:30 to 3 every day except for closed all day on Tuesdays. So I ended up having to wait a little bit when I got there for them to officially open up which wasn't a huge deal but they need to update their hours so they're consistent across all platforms. read more

There are the classic flavors and then lots of fun and interesting flavors as well. My favorite are the powdered doughnut holes filled with fresh whip cream. These donuts are always fresh. Donuts are light and delicious. I always get the blueberry donut that is sooooooooo gooooooodddd chocolate bars, crueller, maple bacon & a variety of sprinkle donuts for my kids. Donut holes are always a good buy. After going through photos for Java Time Donuts, I noticed they sold huge oversized donuts! I thought it was such a fun idea but I wanted to save it for a special occasion. Finally a few days ago, I came by and pre-ordered a large donut to bring to work to celebrate my boyfriend's last day. All of the large donuts have to be pre-ordered at least 24 hours ahead of time. They have multiple sizes, ranging from about $20-40. It looks like you can pretty much do any flavor, and they have heart shaped donuts too! When I ordered mine, she offered chocolate, glazed, or glazed with sprinkles, so I went with the latter, in the smallest size (which is still HUGE). I was impressed with the price, because usually novelty items like that aren't too cheap. They can also write on it! They use whipped cream and it's pretty legible. My pickup time was supposed to be 1:30pm but I called to find out if it was possible if I could pick it up earlier, and she told me it would be ready in ten minutes! We drove over there and waited a couple minutes and it was warm and ready in the perfect size box. They even threw in a few dozen donut holes for free, covered in matching sprinkles! As for the taste, it was so light and fluffy and soft! I was expecting the look of the donut to exceed the taste, but wow I was surprised. I definitely thought it would be too dense or dry due to the size, but it was perfect. Soft, chewy, melt-in-my-mouth delicious! The presentation was spot-on and I think it's an awesome alternative to the average cake, and it's perfect for any occasion, even if you want to just bring a big donut for a big group of people to share! read more

The bacon maple glazed donut: bacon pieces as toppings to the maple glaze. Amazing how the flavors went together. Have it with coffee and it tastes like breakfast instead of just a sweet pastry! 2. The Reeses Donut: If you're a Reeses Butter Cup lover like me you'll appreciate this donut! Chocolate glazed donut with peanut butter in the middle of soft, delectable, doughy bread. It was perfect! 3. Donut star with cream cheese: Usually cream cheese is associated with a croissant style pastry. Not here. Mofo is in a fancy star shaped donut. Super yummy! Yes, I only had three donuts. That's only because I ate half a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts the night before. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of their creations. Purple frosted donuts and sprinkled donut holes...YUM! I was on the hunt for some sugary treats to start off my day before heading to work last week. I decided to drive slightly off course and head to Java Time, as I had passed by it every day on my way to work before I moved last year! I love the variety this place has: whether I want a bacon-topped donut, peanut butter-filled or a chocolate-frosted red velvet, a ton of donuts are patiently waiting to be grabbed by the next lucky customer who walks into the convenient location that has plenty of parking. If you want a donut they don't currently have, they might offer to make it for you, as the friendly, cheerful girl did for me, noting that it would take about 30 seconds to a minute to form a specialty donut, perhaps like one of the cereal-topped donuts that were on display. The red velvet donut was really good, and caught my co-workers' eyes when I brought it to work. I loved the glazed, sprinkled donut holes. I'm a sucker for donut holes, and usually all I see at a typical donut shop are powdered sugar-covered donut holes or glazed. The employee threw in a few extra donut holes in for free, and added some cinnamon sugar coated donut holes for me to try as well : )) I also ordered a purple glazed donut with sprinkles as purple is my fav color and it was good, but not great. The raspberry jelly-filled donut, however, was delicious. It was soft and the glazed coating gave it the perfect texture on the outside!
