Was just in less than an hour ago, probably around 5:50/6:00am and ordered a dozen assorted donuts - 4 apple fritters, 4 chocolate with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles*, 2 red velvet and 2 cinnamon twist things. Except I got home and the 4 chocolate frosting & rainbow sprinkles were nowhere to be found and were instead 4 regular donuts with chocolate frosting... kinda disappointed with the price I paid to receive an incorrect order.

Decided to stop by here while doing some morning errands in the area. I noticed donuts that had some purple; my Filipino instinct made me think that they were of ube flavor and turns out that they were actually ube donuts! Ended up getting one of those as well as a red velvet cake donut and a sugar donut. I also got an egg, turkey, and cheese croissant sandwich and a chai latte. The ube donut unfortunately didn't have any ube taste, just the color. Though, I liked how soft this cake donut was and that it had the right amount of sweetness. Would still recommend just for those things. The red velvet cake donut, although soft as well, was a bit too sweet for my liking (too much icing). Didn't realize how thick the sugar layer was on the sugar donut until I bit into it. A little too heavy-handed on the sugar on this one. I ordered a croissant sandwich after looking at how big the croissants here are; wished the croissants had a crisp to them as the one for the sandwich was kinda dull (I assume that one of the croissants in the display case was used for the sandwich). Also the egg in it was over-fried. Lastly, the chai latte.....was not a chai latte at all lol. It tasted like straight-up black coffee with some milk. I think the lady pushed the wrong button on the hot drink machine. I'm not sure how many donut spots are in the area, but I suppose if you're a local and aren't too picky about donuts then you could make a visit here.

We go here almost every week to satisfy our donut cravings. Easily the best donuts in the area. The raised vanilla glaze donuts are delicious but sell out quickly. However, everything we have tried here is solid. The complex it's located in seems almost completely abandoned, which Is sad but this little shop is worth the stop. The inside is quite simple...a display case and a counter to order from. They package everything very well and are always so friendly! Today I even added a little Thai tea...who doesn't like to start their morning off with a friendly smile?! read more

Donuts are wonderful! The chocolate glaze twist is my son's favorite. The bacon and egg breakfast sandwich was fresh and flavorful and not too greasy. The prices are extremely reasonable. I am hooked on their Vietnamese coffee! Well done. read more

Good donuts, disinterested and less welcoming service. This isn't a restaurant, so I'm not expecting attentive waiters, but at least smile and act like you don't hate your job? The donuts are solid on a Monday when Manleys is closed, but honestly that's the only day I end up hitting this spot. read more

When you're having a morning get together or are craving donuts for breakfast and want something inexpensive but tasty then Meadowview Donuts has got you covered! They open early enough that you can get donuts for an early work meeting. They have a good selection of donuts to choose from. I didn't see many specialty donuts though. When I mean specialty I mean the type of donuts with your favorite cereal on top. All the donuts are fresh, soft and yummy! Even if you have leftovers a day or two later they can be used to make a tasty bread pudding! Customer service is awesome! They are very friendly and will brighten up your morning! read more

The service was disappointing. I waited for 20 minutes after 5 a.m., and the place was still not open. So I left. Don't waste your time going at 5 a.m. as advertised--they're not open when they claim to be. You're better off going somewhere that actually opens on time. read more

I really liked the Bear claws, and that is what I suggest. I just wish I had found out about this place sooner, but to be honest, when I moved to Sacramento a little over 6 years ago, I was not looking for a Donut place, as I had one around my belly, I needed to get rid of. read more

I hesitate to recommend this place because I'm concerned it will get more crowded! Lol Great donuts, a wonderful selection, wonderful clerks, and credit cards accepted. This is the only place we buy donuts in Sacramento. Ask for the "Tiger Tail ", it's a twist with chocolate! They are delicious, good sized, and reasonably priced! I highly recommend this place! read more

I live in the neighborhood, we just moved here. I stopped for a doughnut before work and oh my goodness!! These are fresh, fluffy and the icing is just top tier. Customer service the ladies are very nice. 10/10 recommend these over any in the neighborhood. Prices are reasonable and doughnuts are big. read more

My siblings decided upon the Mangonada with brown sugar boba and the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. Unfortunately, brown sugar boba was not available was all out for the day according to the cashier.. but no sign stating that they were sold out. I had to call my siblings again to let them know and ask if they wanted crystal boba as a replacement. To keep the order going while I was calling them, I asked for a mochi waffle and the guy threw his hands up annoyed and was like do you not want the boba for drink? I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.

Matcha is hand whisked to order and there was very little wait for our drinks. Now I know that the cream top is what makes the drink. Even though the matcha itself is mediocre, the cream top is so delicious and perfectly sweetened that you can kinda ignore the fact that you don't really taste the matcha. More importantly, the phin latte is the star. It can do without the matcha foam but it might be the best Vietnamese coffee I have ever tried in South Sac! Skip the matcha and get the phin latte! But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized. Watching her reaction was worth the visit all by itself. What I loved most was that it wasn't just a gimmick. The drink was actually good, and the elephant made such a cute keepsake afterward. It felt like getting both a treat and a souvenir. The café itself had a fun atmosphere, and it was one of those places that felt a little different from your typical coffee or tea stop. I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.
