Walked in immediately greeted by the sweetest smile and speedy service! As I looked at the case of donuts she asked if I had any questions, very attentive and friendly! The store is clean, small but spacious, there are a few tables available to enjoy your goods. She had quickly served the line with care. Everyone left with a smile, coffee, and donuts in hand. My friend and I asked about the apple fritters because they are our favorite! She had ran out of the mini apple fritters. So we ended up trying the mini blueberry fritters. I've never heard of them before, it was so delicious. The donut was perfectly glazed, super crunchy on the outside, nice and soft on the inside. It's very sweet as the blueberries aren't as tart as the apples. Nor is the flavor of the blueberries as potent. We left a tip to reflect the incredible service and the sweet lady was so happy and grateful she rushed to give us an Apple Fritter. We told her it wasn't necessary but she insisted. By far my favorite apple fritter I've had in Elk Grove. There's a good amount of apple, nice tart flavor to balance the sweet glaze. Texture again, perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft fluffy inside. I've been coming back and will continue to support this shop! The consistency in the size, quality of the donuts, and price is unmatched. read more

Don't be fooled by the small footprint of this business. The service and selections are huge. I went in with my granddaughter. We were greeted warmly and my granddaughter had a time deciding what she wanted based on the wide variety of donuts available. I just ordered here thru DoorDash & I just wanna say these Donuts are FRESH!!! Flavorful as well too! It's been hard for me to find a Donut Shop in Sac with quality taste & freshness cause the Donut Shops I was going to were lacking in quality no doubt. The Maple Cake Donut is amazing. I'm a huge Cake Donut fan so this is a favorite for me. They even threw in a couple extra donuts in my order that I didn't ask for. I think that's really great to do that for Customers, also a great way to keep them coming back for more too. I will definitely be ordering from here more often when I crave a donut. I really like this place. I've been a few times a long time ago but finally had the chance to stop by again while riding my bike in the area. Their blueberry fritter was good although not as sweet as apple fritters I've had but that isn't a bad thing. I like the contrasting berry flavor. I stop here at lease once a week for croissant, yes a croissant! It's only $6 for ham egg and cheese and $5 for ham and cheese, and these things are massive! Our favorite doughnut shop for almost 30 years. Wonderful donuts from a wonderful family. Highly recommended.

The croissant is the true winner for me at this donut shop. My kids love the donut holes and they are readily available no matter what day/ hour we show up. I was driving in the area and had to pull over to take a call in the parking lot , I looked up and seen this small donut shop , there was allot of people going in and out and I thought to myself it must be good . Started visiting this shop in 1998 and haven't found anything else that compares to it. Couple sisters run the place and hands down THE BEST APPLE FRITTERS between the West Coast and The Louisiana Bayou. Not overly sweet, too doughy or skimpy on the apple either! Dosen't sit like a lead brick in your gut like most others. All their dough is light and pastry like, not overly sweet either. Yeah, if you're ever at Bond and Elk Grove Florin (behind Wendy') they're open at 4am to 3pm really nice ladies too. read more
