    Christmas donuts
    Chef Will G.

Ur probably wondering why I am getting donuts on Christmas Morning? I woke up and my left eye felt like it was the size of a golf ball. So I am on my way to Urgent Care, Honey is on the way and yes, they were open. Amy told me she made the Christmas donuts herself, I had to get one for my mom. Honey Donuts is small but has a great variety. In my humble opinion they are the best donuts in Elk Grove and Sacramento area. The donuts almost melt in ur mouth with just the right amount of sweetness. Thank u Amy. I would rate them a 10 if I could. They are always so nice.

In the shopping center on the corner of Laguna and Franklin. Small shop but big flavors! Very friendly family owned shop. They have cute donuts, old fashions, twists, holes, filled and cookies, they are light and fluffy a little crispy and not overly drowned in glaze or sugars. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My kids love coming here after their Saturday sports and activities.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend everyone stop by and grab 1 or 2 or a dozen

What's left of a mix of round, twist, and bar donuts lol.

This is our favorite donut spot around Elk Grove. It's family owned and they're super sweet. A good variety to choose from and everything is always fresh.

11/23/2023- Always really reliable to pop in on a holiday and to find a case full of donuts! They are open until 2pm today! Super cute round donuts decorated like turkeys.. Always get a dozen for snacking until the big bird is done!

Great small hole-in-the-wall local donut shop with good selection and service. Not much else to say. Normal prices, $15.50 minimum per dozen. This is where we get donuts for our team on Sundays at E2. I'm here hopefully before my friend is or we're both gonna look awkward.

    Donuts!

Oh my. So we were in Elk Grove and needed to drop off a package at the UPS Store. It's been a few years since I've lived in Elk Grove so I couldn't remember exactly where the UPS Store was located. Found it on Yelp and as we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed it was close to this donut shop. Usually what stops us from going into a donut shop is trying to eat healthier and having to go out of our way to drive to one. But given that we were already out of the car and walking into a UPS Store, it was far too easy to just stop by the donut shop. *sigh* (So many excuses) Figured we could get 1-2 donuts and be on our way but of course self-control is not my strength so we ended up walking out with a box of about 6 donuts AND a Thai tea. (They didn't have any boba). The Thai tea was amaaaaaazing. A little on the sweet side, which is easily solved by adding some water but there's something they put in their Thai tea that has an extra kick to it. Not sure if it's some kind of spice or Cardamom or cinnamon or star anise or what but it's fabulous. So glad we don't live too close otherwise I'd be in trouble! The donuts were good. The cronut was good. Definitely would recommend!

Always pleases my taste buds! Fresh and soft donuts better than dunkin and krispy kreme.

Donuts were ok. However, customer service is non existent. Probably will not return to this spot.

Delicious donuts and great customer service. They could use a makeover inside but the place works.

Popped in with my brother to satisfy a donut craving and ordered a variety to get a feel for this…read morespot as it was our first time: original glazed, bear claw, glazed old fashion, apple fritter, cinnamon bun, glazed cronut, blueberry cruller. This is a very small donut spot with a small display of donuts, coffee bar on the side with no seating available but found the place very clean. We really loved the nice thin glaze on each donut - they were not too sweet and we were very much impressed by the original glaze and this was my brother's favorite. The apple fritter was my favorite - nice crispy crunchy edges and soft on the inside - although I wish more apple flavor came through this is still a very solid apple fritter. My husband enjoyed the old fashion the best. Our least favorite was the blueberry cake donut as the blueberry cruller tasted way too artificial which is not to my personal taste. If you love classic donuts with no frills, this is a very solid spot located in a small plaza with decent amount of parking.

I was picking up dim sum from D&D and noticed Donut Corner next door. I haven't had a donut in ages…read moreso I dropped in. I immediately saw the donut holes and knew I had to pick up some for my son. For me, I like a good old classic French cruller. I like the airy fluffy inside. The donut holes are 12 for $3.75. I asked for 6 and the lady gave me extras. I appreciate the nice gesture. I think she knew it was my first visit. The selection is smaller than your typical donut shop. I have decision paralysis (lol), so that's fine with me as long as they have the classics. Donuts were average taste but freshly made. From the menu, they also sell few popular snacks like popcorn chicken and Vietnamese Coffee.

I come home and open the box and the stax is mini size!! Not the size I remember, but the same price. Ridiculous! They taste fine but I thought I was getting what I remembered! I won't come back. Only gave 2 stars cause the flavor. I looked at previous pictures on the reviews and you can see they use to be way bigger just a year ago! Shame.

Interesting place but not to our taste…read more We stopped by to get a thank you gift for someone at the Elk Grove dealership. The donuts are definitely pretty, colorful and unique. The injections or syringes full of sweet fillings are quite novel. Kids love 'em. I know they were super popular when a student's parent brought Bad Bakers donuts to celebrate their birthday. So presentation wise, they have it down. Taste wise, ugh. Texture is all wrong and way too sweet. I grabbed an old fashioned donut to take home and by the time we got home, it felt all mushy, unlike old fashioned donuts at other shops. You know it's bad when the donut sits around at home untouched by everyone! But I'd say it's a good place to go for maybe kids, teens and younger customers who just want a cool-looking donut and some sugar. Our gift recipients thought they were super cool though. I kinda mumbled under my breath that they look amazing but not sure how great they taste (having tried the Roseville location in the past). Neat place but not quite our thing.
