The first…read moreinteresting-looking place we stopped at had closed (it was an odd time on a Sunday afternoon), so we decided to stop at the next interesting place. Otto's was it! The place is small and seemed perpetually busy, so it took a while to get our food. But, there are also lots of interesting things to look at, so it wasn't bad. And the staff was very friendly I ordered the South Carolina BBQ sandwich, and we split an enormous basket of sweet potato fries. We liked that there was frosting to dip them in. My sandwich was good and generous; I only ate half, which meant that I got to enjoy the other half at another time. At first, we were not very impressed with the fries, but we managed to eat them all, so I guess they actually were good!

The prices were also pretty good. It's a clean place as well, bathrooms included. While you can tell the soups are homemade, they just lack flavor. The bread was also not very good. For the prices and how many people there were, it's not too bad. Just average so 3.5 stars.

The storm did not let up and we ended up spending the night with about 350 people at the high school which was set up as an emergency shelter.
