Butterfinger and starburst (that's never the same twice)

I would go here often because of its convent location, but recently every time I go my order is wrong; and the people are not welcoming. The girls won't even smile at me. I'm kinda sad to leave this since I have had great luck with Taylor, if it wasn't for her I would have stopped coming awhile ago. There's about 3 friendly baristas that work here

Blue Lotus with kiwi and pineapple!

I'm from Portland where Lotus drinks aren't as popular, I came and told them this is only the second time I've ever had it so make me whatever is good! The barista quickly asked likes/dislikes/allergies and made me an awesome blue Lotus drink! Very friendly and quick service. Drinks all look reasonably priced and their specials menu looked amazing! Sad they are not local to my area but will be back if I'm ever near here again!

I really enjoy the Victorious Vanilla Latte here -- The ladies that work the shack are always friendly and quick. I'm very happy to live near Java Jane and I find myself frequenting whenever I can. Definitely recommend!

I love that they use Dillano's, by far the smoothest and best tasting espresso I've had from a coffee stand.

Eden Garden Cafe - Special banh mi

They have a wide range of banh mi fillings, from the classics to some harder to find options like roast pork, so there's something for everyone. My personal favorite is the crispy roast pork banh mi. The pork has that perfect crackly skin with juicy, flavorful meat underneath. Paired with the pickled veggies, fresh cilantro, and a light spread of mayo on a crusty baguette, it hits all the right textures and flavors. I also love the special banh mi with all the different meats. It's basically the greatest hits lineup with savory cold cuts, pâté, and other cured meats layered together for a rich, satisfying bite every time. It's hearty without being overwhelming, and the balance of fresh and savory components is spot on. And don't skip the drinks. The egg coffee was surprisingly excellent. The Vietnamese coffee base had a deep, bold flavor with that classic slightly bitter edge, and the creamy whipped egg topping added a smooth, lightly sweet contrast. It felt indulgent but still very coffee forward. Overall, this is a great banh mi spot for me with the great variety, tasty sandwiches, and a standout egg coffee to round it all out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a quality banh mi.

They also have wifi so it is totally possible to study and do work at the cafe too. I would say it is a little small for a large party but it would be a perfect stop for a casual, quick lunch. I have gotten drinks and food here and each time it has been fast and good. I have gotten the triple matcha twice and it is a huge and super yummy! It is on the sweeter side but that is perfect for me because I do prefer my drinks a bit sweeter. The service is quite fast and friendly! They also have a punch card so I am excited to return and continue supporting this spot!

The staff were all friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. To drink, we got the mango mule mocktail and the lemon lavender spritzer (also a mocktail). The meat was cooked perfectly, the top was crisp on the outside but soft and chewy inside, and cheese was melted nicely, and the au jus was flavorful. The fries are top notch!! Other people in my party had the lamb burger and the Reuben. Both were delicious! If you're in the Richmond Beach area looking for a nice restaurant for lunch, check out Blackbird!

And the sandwich had great flavor and the chicken was cooked well. The service fell short for us. We ordered drinks which didn't come out until our food did -- which was almost a 25 minute wait. When the food did come out, I was brought the wrong meal and had to wait longer. For me, the prices are also a little steep for the portion sizes and also not having a server. Luckily the taste of the food was great! We sat outside -- which was nice patio area. There were also a handful of tables inside but they were all full.

A great coffee drink with delicious salted caramel and vanilla notes. The breakfast sandwich (Bagel, ham, egg, cheese) was yummy too. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they were out of a lot of the food options, and it was around 9:15 am when I went. I'll definitely return and hopefully they'll have more food options then!

I'm meeting a friend here to catch up, to talk... and honestly, I had never thought about coming here for coffee, even if it was only 12 minutes from my place. Yes, the building was an old Service Station for you know, your car, so if anything the place has that on the outside, but the feels.. it's not that on the inside, per se. Where you get coffee and where you sit and chill, are two very different places. What used to be the service station office is where you get coffee, and where they used to service cars, is now where you sit comfortably, tables spaced apart nicely, and the decor is the place that makes you wonder why not.. in a good way. The coffee is Fidalgo, which is a good strong flavored coffee. They have a rotating mixed coffee drink of the month, and it's delicious. They don't bake their own goods, which honestly if you can't, then don't. What they service is packaged, but from reputable local businesses, so worth trying. Overall, you need a place to just work, to chill, or have a good coffee, this place meets and exceeds that.

Pretty cool find if you are ever in the neighborhood!…read more Mountlake Terrace is not a place I frequently visit, but I did because of the convenience with the light rail - it's about a 9-minute walk from the light rail station. The interior has a warm and cozy vibe; I also dig the lighting. There's a good amount and variety of seating. They don't have outlets on the floor at the benches in the center, but there are a few outlets on the walls, so if you need to charge your devices I recommend sitting at the chairs next to the treasure chest (where I'm writing this review lol). Space seems very dog friendly, and there are 2 tables outside where the fur baby pawrents would typically sit with their fur babies. I also saw dog treats at the cashier that dog owners are free to take. I guess if you wanted to eat them you could, but I would judge you. For my drink, I got the Woodsman - opted for iced, large size, and whole milk. The drink was very chai spice-forward, which I loved. The staff member who took my order asked for my name, and later on when I went up to inquire the WiFi password, he addressed me by name - impressive. The owner (?), Heather, also thanked me for coming here after I picked up my drink. Needless to say, super friendly people. I didn't get a pastry or sandwich, but that's the goal for my next visit!

There has been some controversy about church owned coffee shops in Shoreline. I ordered a coffee and then politely asked where was their pride ‍ flag or sign. They said they didn't have one so I offered to bring them one and they seemed delighted, and thanked me. The pride flag I ordered is an 8 x 10 sign, has all the colors, and says in bold print EVERYONE IS WELCOME HERE. On 11/17 I returned to the coffee shop. I had to wait a few minutes to speak with the manager. As we began to chat, another person suddenly joined her and took over the conversation, as I explained I'd been there last Wednesday and the agreement we had. He went on to tell me they are NEUTRAL and do not want to "offend" anyone. When I told them a sign like this should not be considered offensive, and if it were offensive to someone, maybe they didn't want that customer anyway. I said I have grandchildren who are both gay and mixed race and it's important for them to feel safe in certain environments. I told them about how my lesbian college-age granddaughter had to walk nearly a mile to find a coffee shop last summer where she felt comfortable. (She doesn't patronize Starbucks. She walked to Diva on 145th.) They felt that was too bad for her. But ... they were very adamant in their NEUTRAL position. I tried explaining how important these signs are to the LGBTQ community. They did repeat several times that they were NEUTRAL. I left the signs with them and drive by often to check and see if they're in the windows. They are not. Either perhaps in the garbage or on a shelf in some back room. The last thing we want to do in the environment we're currently living in is to remain neutral. We need to reach our hands across. In a "Christian" environment, I would expect nothing less.

Menu has a variety of items including milk tea, coffee, smoothies and fresh milk. Speciality and possibly seasonal drinks were also advertised around the counter and near the front. Staff at the front take your order and ask about ice and sweetness levels if the drink you order calls for that. There is also a ramen bar to the right-hand side of the front counter you can use after purchasing instant ramen at said front counter. I got myself the Mustache milk tea with 50% sweetness and ice, with regular boba. This is very standard for milk tea but it's also the perfect baseline for their other drinks. The tea is floral and the milk added does not detract from the drink. 50% sweetness is perfect for this drink, as any sweeter would have been too much for me. My friends enjoyed their other drinks, though they all got stuff from various parts of the menu. Pretty decent and nice place to chill, hangout and have some good boba!
