The place is temporary. and takeaway only. But the wait isn't as long as it looks. And it's worth it. The jasmine matcha comes in two acts. Jasmine first--floral and fragrant. Then the earthy matcha hits. It's a perfectly crafted drink. The traditional matcha latte is more subtle but just as balanced. Toasty, earthy, just sweet enough to soften the bitter matcha. That seems to be the point here. The tea is serious. Cocha isn't precious about it. No ceremony. No mysticism. No need to convince you that drinking pulverized leaves is an act of spiritual transcendence. Just very good tea, handled carefully and allowed to taste like itself.

We didn't realize it had a big store as well as a dining area. There were a lot of sweet options and a variety of drinks. The employee was so kind enough to take time to explain all the different baklava options and another employee helped me choose a sparkling, refreshing drink. We chose a high table top to sit at and work. There were a lot of people hanging out in the main sitting area. I had ordered a couple of their specialty baklava for my friends who really enjoyed it.
