The staff, Kayla was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about ordering food and I was very impressed by her. I don't think I have ever had Jason's Deli before but I can't wait to get back here to get more salad and try other foods items. The salsa I made was so good and they have a great selection on the salad bar to make yourself. I really was in need of some greens since I hadn't really been eating "healthy" while on vacation back to Texas to visit family. The young lady at the cashier was nice to tell me how things worked and another since lady packed my salad to go for me. So this is great customer service overall! We came for a late lunch and I ordered a Turkey Muffeleta. Seemed a bit shy on the amount of meat from what we've normally received. I contacted the manager and she made it better. Ugh... where to start? We went there for lunch on Saturday. I ordered a Club Royale all-the-way, which was a ham and turkey sandwich on a croissant. It was one of the worst club sandwiches I've ever had. The croissant was dry, the "leafy" lettuce was wilted, dry and dark, the "tomato" slice was almost paper thin and only 2 inches wide and there was so little cheese I had to search for it. The sandwich was supposed to come with a pickle spear, which was absent. A handful of Ruffles-style chips was included. All very overpriced at $11.99. The restaurant serves beverages in clear, thin plastic cups (no insulating quality like styrofoam), so if you prefer your soda or tea to stay cold, don't take it outside. The restaurant was very crowded on that Saturday, with an order line extending to the entrance door. There was also a line in the hallway for the ladies' restroom, with kids running up and down the corridor. The restaurant is apparently popular to many, but I doubt I'll return any time soon. read more

I used to love Jason's Deli's but the past few I have been to around the U.S. have not been up to par. This one is the same. Salad bar was not stocked well, missing many items. The sandwiches were not put together well, very sloppy. The workers seem mediocre and the facility did not seem very clean (this is a common issue with Jason's Deli's). Due to the lack of salad options in Longview, this is one of the only good places for that, so many people continue to go here. Clean the place up, stock the bar, take some pride in the food and create an atmosphere where employees actually care. read more

Great all you can eat salad bar. The restaurant is clean and prices are reasonable for fresh veggies. This is my favorite salad place.

I'm really happy they have a vegetarian menu it's really rare around here! My Texacado toast was yummy and my boyfriend enjoyed his chicken club sandwich. Their salad bar looks really good I think I'll try it next time. I would recommend this spot to a friend. read more

I ordered the spicy seafood gumbo which according to their website gives this description: Our spicy seafood gumbo is made with a traditional roux, fresh fish, wild Gulf shrimp, real okra, onions and bell peppers. Topped with rice and parsley Sounds great, except my bowl, and one of my kid's cup of it had zero shrimp... none...not even pieces of shrimp. It was just the roux, okra, onion, bell pepper and rice. THAT was highly disappointing as it was what I ordered for my meal...and the presentation of the soul in the bowl with the soup all around the edges wasn't appealing visually. A simple wipe of the napkin would have done wonders for presentation Both my kids ordered the managers special with a sandwich and soup. They enjoyed their sandwiches. We used to order Jason's delivery twice a week spending over $100 weekly- $50 each time. We reduced down to once a week due to we never got a complete order. I have to call every time because something is left out. Today is the final straw .... literally no straws, no dressing for our salads, no soup that was paid for, no gingerbread muffins.... do not want to eat without our dressings ... so we are having to wait again. Last time we order, I guess we will rely on others for our lunch for now on which is quit a shame. The food is amazing we are just unable to leave work and get it ourselves. read more

Had a bad experience unfortunately, twice recently at this establishment. Fruit cup fruit was old fruit cup. Dip was watered down and seemed like it had been sitting out. Ordered Reuben the great, and the pastrami was crusty, darkened and hard on the edges, not fresh at all. Plus, the bread was soggy underneath. In addition, this is the second time in 2 months. I have ordered pick app from this restaurant and had to go back or ask for plastic ware because it was not included. Very disappointing from what used to be an excellent restaurant. read more

I usually love this place over McAllister's Deli. Placed my order online through the app. Ordered a salad & 2 sandwiches at 7:40 pm. It said it would be ready by 7:55 pm. My friend gets there to pick up the food at 8:15 pm. It's already paid for on the app. After looking at the food he realized it was the wrong order & takes it back in. They have to re-make the food?! By 8:30 pm my friend was still waiting on our food. It's been 49 minutes. He asked the manager why it was taking soo long & what happened. The manager wouldn't make eye contact & just said "I don't know." Plus, there was a full kitchen staff & no customers. They weren't even busy. I'll be going somewhere else. The manager sucks. Got the order home & only received 1/2 of a the Big Chef Salad but I paid for a full salad. I feel ripped off! (No, I didn't order the Manager's Special. I ordered the full sandwich & a full salad.) I received NO GUACAMOLE on my California Club sandwich. The Beef Eater was cold & the California Club (served chilled w/guacamole) was actually hot not even room temperature & no guacamole. We waited so long for our food (there only a few people were dining in) that my husband had to go ask about it. His was waiting to be delivered but mine was still in the kitchen. When they brought it to us, my husband's was still reasonably warm but mine was cold. The cheese on top had congealed and the vegetables underneath were actually cold. I had the Taxacado. We had a horrible experience this evening. There were about 15 people total in the restaurant already eating and served. We stood and waited for anyone to acknowledge we even existed while the cashier sang and talked to herself while counting her register and people were on their cell phones walking by ignoring us. I'm a regular diner at Jason's deli in Longview. I always order the same sandwhich. I was disappointed when they told me it had been discontinued and didnt carry the main ingredient anymore. They suggested a reasonable substitution and I accepted. It took a little while longer than normal to make my sandwhich and when they gave it to me they said they'd gone to the store and bought the ingredient to make my sandwhich! My personal favorite deli in Longview. Their food is always fresh and they have an excellent organic selection as well. If your on a diet or are trying to eat healthy their are some great options. I normally order the Mediterranean wrap which comes with smoked turkey, greens, hummus and is wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla all for 340 calories! Their sweet tea is also wonderful and has the perfect flavor combination. Not to sweet and not to dry. They have a great Salad bar and their Desserts are also lovely. I ordered the salmon salad but the salmon was cold and cube shaped. I've had this same salad in California where I live and the salmon was heated. Sent it back and got a roast beef sandwich instead, which took a VERY long time to get... The sandwich was piled high with roast beef, the top part of the meat was heated but the middle was ice cold. No Bueno. They did apologize for the wait but after we left we realized the salad cost much more than that sandwich and they never offered to even pay us back the balance.
