    New All Weather (winterish) tires.

Great place. Jason advised me on a set of tires that finally freed me from the curse of the runflats. I should have done this switch years ago. The car drives so much nicer now. I used to dread and feel every bump, now I only hear them. Amazing service convenience-wise too: they picked my car, swapped the tires, then dropped the car back at the house. Highly recommended.

Replaced all four tires AND wheels. Upsized the tires and wheel set and did necessary modifications. Read the full review...

EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER Ok, here's the story: I have owned this '06 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Limited, 5.7L HEMI) since new. I have been bringing this car to Jason for a few years now. He has also done some regular tire replacement, tire/wheel swap-outs and engine maintenance on some of my other cars (BMW, Porsche, Ford, etc). I have been driving the Jeep completely stock up until now. The car is registered and usually kept in Florida but was currently in Montclair (long story...) Before shipping the Jeep back down to Florida I wanted to change it up a bit as I was getting bored of the stock look and and a 2" lift with new wheels and beefed up all terrain tires would do just the trick. Jason spent the time to research what would be the largest tire size and what modifications would be necessary. His experience and research provided me with the optimal setup for me. Jason provided me several options and we picked out the specific wheels and tires that looked great at reasonable prices. Jason even helped with meeting with the car hauler when it was being picked up for shipment to Florida. Haven't been so happy with an automotive repair job for as long as I can recall. Thank you Jason!

Buyer BE ware!!! Does not stand behind the work they charge a pretty penny for. Always along wait and expect rudeness rather than courtesy.

Even though I called at 5 PM and they were busy, with only one tech left for the day, the guy offered to put air in my tire and to take a look at my car first thing in the morning. I went in right away and as soon as he saw my tire and how anxious I was about it, he made room to fix it. It was an incredibly anxious experience for me since I've never gotten a flat and I'm not very car savvy, but the tech made it incredibly seamless and reassured me that everything was going to be OK. He was able to patch my tire within 30 minutes . Even though I had called multiple other auto bodies in the area, the only one who was willing to take me in that late and do something about it was this place. They have gained a customer for life!

Don't personally care how the sausage is made but whatever. Brought the car in and left it there. They called me 10 minutes before closing to let me know the tire could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. When I pushed back stating it was a nail nowhere near the sidewall and the quintessential candidate for a repair they put me on hold. I knew they were never coming back so I went over and got there minutes before closing. Car was still up on a jack. I asked that they put the tire back on and return the car to me. I noticed while they were doing it the tire was in fact plugged. The person helping me stated there was still a slow week and they recommend replacing the tire for $600. Anyway fast forward several weeks an the tire is fine. Gave them two stars because I guess the technically did plug/repair the tire

But I remembered having a good experience there before, so I decided to take the longer route and come in from Bloomfield Avenue, even though it meant driving through Montclair. I'm really glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was excellent. The waiting area was clean, bright, and comfortable. There was a slight tire smell, as expected, but nothing overwhelming. I did not have an appointment. I explained that my tire was low and suspected a nail. I was told the wait would be about 45 minutes, so I settled in. To my surprise, within about 15 minutes, I was told my car was next, and just 10 minutes later, the repair was done. It turned out to be a nail, which they quickly and efficiently fixed. The best part--there was no charge. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. I left a tip for the service team and went on my way, extremely satisfied. I'm very glad I chose to go out of my way to return. This is what great customer service looks like.

I know about this particular "Pep boys" in Roselle, NJ because my wife and I used to live in Elizabeth NJ. NOW!!! My wife and I had some business to take care of in Elizabeth, NJ; So I made an appointment for that particular "Pep Boys" at 711 E 1st Ave, Roswell, NJ 07203. First, I called and spoke with someone early that morning at approximately, 10:17 am on the morning of 12/18/2025 to make an appointment. I explained that I had already purchased the parts to make the necessary repairs on my vehicle. I was told by a male employee of that particular "Pep Boys" that I was good to come in for the engine mount replacements. I asked for an estimate first because my particular vehicle has 3 mounts. So I asked for a general price for service because, again I had already obtained the parts. The "Pep Boys" employee gave me an estimate which was too high to have all three mounts done so, I asked what was the estimated price for labor to have two mounts done he stated $375 along with the estimated time the job would take which was approximately 2.5 hrs. I call back before I get there because I'm running late. I spoke with a female employee and explained the situation as far as, me already having the parts attempting to save money. My wife and I drop the car off come to find out the woman I was speaking to on the phone was the manager at that particular "Pep boys" so she's telling me the gentleman that I had spoken with earlier was not there. I explained to the female manager the price her employee quoted to me on the phone. She proceded to quote a whole different price to me which was extremely higher than the labor cost previously given to me. So I stated just change the main motor mount then. "PLEASE" The time was approximately 1:30 pm, could've be 2 pm. She calls me to the work area at about 3:30 pm possibly 3:45 pm to tell me that I would have to leave my car there because her/"Pep Boys" mechanic couldn't get the bolts off because the vehicle was an older vehicle so instead of notifying me the customer of the problem though I'm sitting right there in the waiting area mind you; she also had my cell number. I'm assuming her being the manager approved the mechanic to go ahead and burn the bolts of with a welding torch. The problem she/"Pep Boys" created though was parts of the bolts were now stuck and she's telling me they would have to drill new holes into my cars engine mount brackets and by the way didn't know what size bolts would fit. I'm like OKAY! You all have four hours left on your work schedule. I have a 13 year old daughter at home alone in PA, my wife has medical issues not to mention we weren't planning on having to stay out for the night so I also didn't have my blood pressure medication or cholesterol pills. Now!, as far as not knowing the size of the bolts to replace. I would assume if you type in the Year, Make and model of the car the specs. For the vehicle should come up! THANK GOD! I had just gotten paid even though I had to use some of our holiday funds for a Lyft and hotel for me and my wife for the night OOOCUH but she was cold and shaking out while we waited for the Lyft not to mention though I was worried about my 13 yr old being at home alone. If you are a parent especially a mother you can imagine what she was going through psychologically. I also had another issue to be worried about like GOD FORBID!!! My vehicle is broken into or if anything is missing out of our car whose going to be held responsible for it! In conclusion, I would respectfully advise corporate to advise their managers to be more transparent other than basically saying SHIT! Happens and even though "Pep Boys" caused the issues there's nothing we can do to help you in this unexpected situation and we won't charge you for the (BOLTS).

Not only was the diagnosis absolutely correct, but it was explained in a way that actually made sense without talking down to me. Derrick and his team have been my mechanics since I moved to West Orange in 2018, and at this point I trust them completely with my cars. They're straight shooters. If something can wait, they'll tell you. If something needs attention now, they'll show you why. No pressure, no mystery charges, no unnecessary parts swapping. From a technical standpoint, their diagnostics have been consistently spot-on. They don't just throw parts at a problem hoping something sticks; they take the time to trace the root cause, whether it's electrical, drivetrain, or something more subtle that other shops miss. The work is done right the first time, and I've never had to come back for the same issue. Pricing is fair, turnaround times are realistic, and communication is excellent. They treat you like a long-term customer, not a one-time invoice. Shops like this are rare, and if you're looking for a place you can stick with for years, this is it. I recommend them without hesitation.

Their shop is very clean and the mechanics are professional and friendly. Derrick was great to meet after reading so much about him in previous reviews. They have music playing in the three bay work area which is great, it keeps everyone in good spirits while working on your vehicle. Pricing was very reasonable and straightforward (and no games that are played like from my area in NYC where there is a cash vs credit price where merchants charge you 2-5% extra if you pay by credit card.) I made an appointment for my service on their website and highly recommend you do as well as opposed to walk-in service as they are very busy and then calling them to confirm that for your requested service that you can wait rather than drop off (BUT that depends on where you live and of course what you need done, I'm in NYC so I can't drop it off and leave and comeback when done, I need to wait; if I needed time consuming work / parts like the lower block changed on my J35Y6 engine due to the connecting rod recall, I'd need to leave it there and come back when done days later of course, but for fluid changes like oil/atf/differential/transfer case/break/coolant, I would wait.) For my service, they got to my vehicle quickly and the service was perfect and took the exact amount of time to do it right. I'll be coming back for service for both of my vehicles going forward. I'm coming from NYC and getting there is very convenient especially if you take the I95 to 280W. I have nothing but praise for Derrick and his team!
