Came here for a front brake pad change. Price seemed fairly reasonable and they had experience with Porsche's (also read good things about them on Porsche forums). They really save me. Turns out that one of my caliper bolts had been stripped from the prior owner's f up. As a result they couldn't attach my brake pad, which was obviously an issue. There was a part that they could order to fix it, but it would normally be a few days. The problem was that I needed the car in 2 days for a track day. Bill was able to put in a rush order and get a hold of the part by end of day, for install the very next day. Much appreciated! Initially I had brought my Honda in for a correction with the camber and alignment. Heavily modified suspension. The tech did a great job, so good in fact I called back in and told them how grateful I was as the car drives like a dream. I wanted to make an appointment again with all the brakes, really thought I found someone I could trust. I called in and had to cancel, my daughter was sent home sick, my wife was in-office south Jersey and I was the only one who could stay home with my daughter. I felt bad canceling our appointment but I called and told them what was really happening. Next time I go in person and apologize that I had to cancel and could we do something at his convenience. I literally said the words "I'm at your disposal" in meaning anytime that works for you, I'll be here! He said that week he was busy, "drop it off Monday" I said ok I'll be here! Monday: So I work in corporate, we had some issues in the am, my wife finally got off her conference call, drove down it was maybe 10:45 am. I show up and he looks at me like he never saw me before. "Can I help you?!" (Rude tone). Yes, I'm here to drop off my car for the brake job, he basically yelled saying "I can't do anything NOW!! I SAID MONDAY MORNING!! I WAS EXPECTING FIRST THING IN THE MORNING BEFORE 9!!!!" I said "no, you never told me a time, if you said 9am I would be been here at 8:45" he looked in the book, there I was with my number, no time. He told me a week out again, I said "no it's too far out, thanks" and walked out. AND HE YELLED "OKKKK" Listen, I'm going to say this one time, PEOPLE HAVE FLEX SCHEDULES NOW, SOME OF US ARE WORKING FROM HOME. IM AT A FORTUNE 500 IN MANHATTAN, I HAVE NOTHING BUT TIME!!! Great spot... my wife brought her car in for a tire pressure warning light. They put her car on the lift and showed her how a poor alignment caused her tires to wear unevenly and result in such poor wear that all tires (which were at the end of their life) had the steel belts showing through the inner bottom wall of the tires, something we didn't notice at home. They quoted her a price that was competitive with other shops, ordered the tires and replaced them quickly. They also recommended a local shop for oil changes and tire rotations. Good shop, honest folks. Downgrading to 3 stars... had a nail in our tire and called to see if they could insert a plug and were told they didn't have time. I brought a car here with a knock in the front end. Knowing that this shop has a good reputation, and having brought another car here for an alignment once before, I thought they would be able to tackle it. Bill communicated well throughout, but he decided that the front struts should be replaced. The ones I had on the car already were Bilsteins, and probably fine. He claimed one had a leak, which I am a bit dubious of because it was never shown to me. He installed a set of KYB struts, and the noise remained. I brought the car back thinking something wasn't tightened up properly. The tech went over the car again and made sure the struts were installed properly. He acknowledged hearing the clunk, but did not know what it was. I was basically given a shrug by Bill and the tech, and that was that. They didn't seem interested in pursuing the problem after they had sold me a strut replacement that didn't solve it. He suggested replacing the engine mounts, which I have subsequently done, without effect. I brought the car here to have the knock fixed, not specifically for strut replacement, and after paying about $800, I still have a knock in the front end. I am not interested in bringing any more business to this shop, which is a shame because it has a good reputation among the local Porsche club, and I own a Porsche 911 in addition to the car I brought to the shop. On the plus side, the shop is very clean and there's a nice waiting room so that you can watch the techs working on your car. Sorry Euro-Tire. This is what reviews are for. After squeezing 28,000 miles out of tires I should've replaced at 25K, I finally had to bite the bullet and get four new shoes. Due to my paranoia of damage to rims and car by tire shops, I had this place scouted out and selected over three years ago. Yes, I'm insane but hey, we all have our faults. I can normally cheap out with the best of them, but not when it comes to things like this. Their price for tires and mounting won't match that of tire rack and the corner tire shop. Here is what I'm paying for. 1. A spotless and roomy shop. Did I say roomy? Look at my photos. Room to work means no dents doors or tools falling on the car. The tech can walk around the car without dragging tools and belt buckles across the car panels. And yes, I've see this happen many times when scouting shops. 2. They deal with high end cars all the time. Makes my car look like a Kia. I wanted a tech who is used to seeing low cars like this day it and day out. 3. Experience and reputation. Great word of mouth amongst the owners in the area. Dealing with 19" and larger rims requires experience and patience. There are damage risk when mounting and unmounting tires. At over $1000 per rim, you don't want to deal with repair or replacement from a low end shop. The tire tech took his time to carefully, unmount, balance and remount everything. I think it took close to 1-hr. They used a real torque wrench to make sure the bolts were tightened to spec, no air tools here. read more

Don't be fooled by the name... Euro-Tire doesn't just sell tires, nor do they only work on European vehicles. I've done extensive suspension modifications on my Cadillac ATS, and no one could get it set up correctly... not even my mechanic who has worked on my cars for the last 20 years. Then I met Bill! The best way I can describe the ride/handling is: It's like moving a hot knife through butter. I've read some of the other reviews. Honestly, if you want to BS about the weather or something, go hang out at Starbucks. If you want your car to be in the hands of no-nonsense professionals who actually know what they are doing, this is your place. The staff here treats you with respect, and your vehicle the way they would treat their own... right down to the hand-torqued lug nuts. I've been to Euro-Tire a few times and always try to come here when I need new tires. They do good work and don't try to sell you anything unnecessary or extra. There is a waiting area upstairs with coffee and you can even watch them working on your car from the window views. There's also a diner right next door, so you can even grab a bite to eat while you're waiting. Everyone there is friendly, and my mechanic Bill is really great! They do good and quick work, are honest, and one of the least expensive places in the area. I'd recommend this place if your car is in need of some TLC. read more

I wasnt impressed. Quoted $185 for wheel alignment which was incomplete because only the front was done. Was told the back has aftermarket control arms so that would cost an additional $300 +. If you quoted $185 for front and back but only front was done it should be less than quoted . Asked for printout to show what was paid for and he prints a diagram with pic of car. Later he printed the receipt that i asked for and it clearly states front alignment. read more

Bill and the Euro-tire staff are fantastic! A+ service! I drive a Scion tc and have low-profile tires. Apparently these don't do well over potholes. The front driver's side rim was dented inside and out and was beginning to rip into the tire itself. The steering wheel was shaking quite a bit due to the lopsided rim and tire. This needed to get fixed asap. The saga... I took it into Sears Auto Center for an evaluation, they referred us to Euro-Tire to see if I could get it repaired or replaced. Thank goodness for the the referral, I would've eventually just buckled down and paid $$$ for a new rim from the dealership. On the way to Euro-Tire, the tire in question popped! I had to call AAA to put the replacement on for me. I barely made it to Euro-Tire before they closed. Bill stayed a little past closing time and helped me out. He said they'd have to order it a new tire and he'll try his best to find a another rim for me since repairing it was out of the question. Bill would be be in touch a few days later. I was out of town for a wedding when Bill confirmed he got a rim and tire. I told him wouldn't be able to pick it up until the following weekend because I was out of the area. He assured me this was not a problem and told me to give him a call when I got back. Well, I'm happy to report my rim and tire are perfect, the shaky steering wheel has stopped and the price Bill quoted was the price I paid! No hidden fees! It's been a long time since I've used these guys ever since moving out of the area. I do remember customer service was horrible and prices are very high. I had to reschedule and was given an attitude and treated like crap, as if they don't realize people have to work and things happen that are out of their control. I used this place because the tech is great and my alignments were always spot on among other things, but it all starts with a phone call and if that customer service isn't there its mostly business lost. It's been about a year since that incident and never went back. There's always someone else I can use, especially around here in north jersey. I hope they changed, definitely good working tech, but not worth 5 stars considering how they treat others. read more

Euro Tire really is the go to place for all things tires. You could go to just about any garage for a new set of tires, but going to a specialist for one of the most important safety related items on your car is really the right thing to do. They do charge a very slight premium on tires, but their service and knowledge is well worth the little bit of extra price. Enough so that I have been going here for years. If you go on a weekend you will no be able to get a walk in, but it is no big deal to make an appointment. Their waiting room lets you watch them work on your car which is pretty cool too. read more

I"ve been to euro-tire several times during the past couple of yrs. And I have to agree with Andy V, their customer service is awful. But what they lack in people skills, they make up in car skills. They specialize in lowered vehicles of all makes and models. I've always had cars with some type of suspension work done to them, and this place always gets the alignment right.(coil-overs, springs) Bill is not one of friendliest people out there, but I guess you really don't have to be when you have to schedule an appointment with them wks in advance to get an alignment. They have a nice waiting rm where you can see the garage and see the guys working of your car. And a nice carpeted long bench were you can pass out on,...or at least what i have done. The whole process takes about 45 min from start to finish. They give you a print out of the stats of your camber, toe,... when you pay the bill. So this review is more about the mechanical service than the customer service. I would recommend this place, and I will be back when I need another alignment. Come for the good mechanics, but don't stay for the friendly conversation....because it's nonexistent. Just go out and enjoy your newly aligned car! read more

Pleased with the service I received from Euro-Tire. Took about an hour for mount & balance with alignment. Clean and spacious shop, 2nd floor waiting area with view of the floor to watch men at work. Able to accommodate lowered vehicle. Rims/tires that came off were put in a plastic slip for the drive home. I'd recommend to others and would use again. read more

I can't say enough about this place. They do quality work. I have been going to Eurotire for several years now. I have a 911 and I would not take it anywhere else for tires. Bill is courteous and helpful. I've had a couple of flat tires... Don't me ask why. I keep driving over nails. He always took me in right away as I was driving up or being towed into the lot. Awful customer service!! I called for an alignment on my WRX and was scheduled for the following week, Monday at 10 am. Perfect I can drop my daughter off at school and get back in time to pick her up. When I called to confirm my appointment after dropping her to school all I got was "I don't have you or a Subaru in the book" "how bout 11 am" sorry but people have schedules and that's just bad service. The only shop I could find with an alignment rack that my lowered Mustang would fit on. My Mustang sits about 3 inches off the ground and my exhaust is even lower. They built ramps for their alignment rack just for lowered cars as they tune race suspensions and such. This was over a year ago and the alignment came out great. My tires have been wearing perfectly even and the car still drives straight as an arrow. I highly recommend them especially if you have a lowered vehicle. read more

I have been using Euro-tire for years and have been very pleased. They know what they are doing and treat your car as if is theirs. They are also competitive with the $$$, but do it professionally. They torque your wheels on, not run them on with an air gun to way more torque than they need. Which may stress your alloy wheels or bend a brake rotor. I'm taking one star off the rating because of 2 things: 1) They did not answer my request for a quote through their website. 2) Their price is above the average.($120 for 4 wheel alignment, $80 for 4 wheel balancing) The work was excellent and I can feel the difference on the ride. Wow this place is great! I have a 2013 BMW 550i X-Drive which I was having some alignment issues with. I took it to multiple BMW dealerships and another alignment shop; all of them left me with a crooked steering wheel! I did my research and brought it here. I was kind of nervous driving the car when I left the shop because I thought they were also going to leave me with a crooked steering wheel but to my surprise, these guys got rid of them problem and now my car is driving like the Ultimate Driving Machine!! I've been coming here for over twenty years and I have never had a bad experience. They are extremely helpful and honest, and will go out of their way to get you tires as soon as possible. I have never seen the guys be rude or dismissive to anyone, regardless of whether you own a Toyota or a Porsche. They also do great work on brakes and alignment, and will be happy to offer a second opinion when your car dealership tries to sell you some very expensive "repairs" that they insist you need. Trust Euro-Tire - they will give you an honest answer, and more likely than not, what your dealer told you is not true.
