No notes. No complaints! Started with the Thai Tea which was simple and what you'd expect but then we tried the Fried Seaweed Rolls and let me tell you.... I want these everyday. The sweet plum dipping sauce tied it all together in this flavorful crunchy but soft and also chewy deliciousness! For mains we got Pad See Ew which was FIRE and the Tom Yum Noodle Soup. This place was super sweet! The staff were so friendly and kind. We came in at the tail end of lunch service but they were still able to accommodate us. My mom has a severe fish allergy and they were great about sharing options and restrictions on the menu. Plus the food was delicious and generous portions, even for the "small." The Pad See Ew was very good and we were a party of six on Father's Day as our original plans fizzled. The A/C wasn't working properly and some people walked in and left but we stuck it out. This is the second Thai place we have tried since moving to the Mount Pleasant area. Something about Thai food on a cold rainy night just sounds appropriate. I stopped in after shift to pick up our takeout and they were very timely. We had the crab fried rice delicious, pad Thai, could have used more seasoning or sauce and the chicken noodle soup which my wife enjoyed. Overall good meal and we will definitely be back, the price is cheaper than the other place we like so that is always a plus too. read more

We got takeout here because the reviews were so good and we have unfortunately never had worse Thai food ever. Price was about $55 (for 2 dishes- beef chow fun and crab fried rice). They charged extra for beef, but that wasn't clear when we ordered on the phone. The fried rice was flavorless, the chow fun was dry and the noodles were maybe undercooked, just dry. Next time I would order it 4 instead of Thai hot. Food was flavorful and good. The temperature went from really hot or really cold. This place was a delightful surprise. I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants in my day, and this one was honestly one of the best. Cashew nut with beef was flavorful with tender beef and delicious chili sauce. Pad prik king had really nice green beens and a spicy red sauce. We also ordered Panang curry with vegetables, which had a lighter, more brothy sauce that am accustomed to, but was really tasty. Veggies were fresh and well cooked without being mushy. Walked in and I was seated immediately. The staff were amazing. So nice, attentive, and thankful. We started off with the fried calamari for an appetizer. It was chilly night so I had to get some soup. I never can turn down pad thai. I asked for medium spice. I usually order that at Thai restaurants. This one was spicy! I do like spicy, but watch out! The food was absolutely delicious! The picture shows the vegetable fried rice -- I especially loved how thoughtfully the veggies were cut and presented. You could tell a lot of care went into the preparation. I would have given 5 stars, but when we arrived close to closing time (my daughter had just gotten off work), the hostess initially seemed a bit displeased. Awful food and service. Ordered Tom Yum soup which was served lukewarm and tasted like it was made with some sort of concentrate. Had yellow curry with chicken which was bone dry and the sauce overly sweet. They are skimping on ingredients and serve everything with a big side of attitude. I ordered the panang curry chicken to go and when I saw the infant size portion of rice, not kidding, I kindly asked for more rice. She immediately replied one dollar for extra rice do you want. I said yes and will never be going back. Nothing worse than an Asian restaurant skimping on the most basic staple of that culture. Makes me wonder where else they are skimping when it comes to ingredients. I will not miss it. Same thing happened to be at an Asian owned deli while traveling. Ordered a turkey sandwich and the lady preparing the turkey sandwich cut one slice of turkey in half because apparently it was overweight according to their policy of portion control. Getting back to rice which should be the larger staple of the dish and the panang curry could have been a smaller portion. The whole idea of eating a good curry is using the rice as bread and sopping up every bit of deliciousness. I saw a few other reviews about small portions and I can only guess it had to do with the current Rice Shortages going on in the world. LOL What a shame to be so vividly petty with rice. The wife's new favorite Asian and or Thai Restaurant is Jasmine Thai Kitchen. First, the service is great, and the small restaurant is very clean and pleasant. The menu is extensive and can make your decision of what to order a bit difficult. We started with 2 Fresh Spring Rolls. As the name implies the lettuce, cucumber, and basil were very fresh. The rice noodles had a perfect chew. I ordered the perfect Honey Duck with wonderful Crispy duck, pineapple, onions, and special honey sauce to die for. The dish was served with jasmine rice. The wife ordered Drunken Noodle Soft Crab. There was a huge portion of perfectly cooked Fried Soft-shell crab. The crab was served over Stir fried flat rice noodle with onion, bell pepper, basil, garlic and chili. Normally I do not recommend ordering Soft Shells out of season, but this place did it right. What a lovely bunch of folks running this restaurant! We arrived early, around 4pm, and had the place to ourselves. Several Thai places I'd looked up didn't open until 4:30, but this was the exception. I got water for a drink but my brother ordered their Thai tea, said it was heavier on the condensed milk side than the tea but he seemed to like it fine. We started with their curry puff appetizer: homemade pastry dough stuffed with chicken, onions, potato, garlic, black pepper, pea and carrot served with plum sauce. This was good, similar to an Indian samosa. For my entree, I was in the mood for soup and noodles so I decided to order the Tom Kha Noodle Soup: Rice noodle with mushroom, tomatoes, scallion and cilantro in spicy coconut milk soup. I chose chicken as my protein and this dish was comforting and the right combination. I got it 4/5 spice level and it was perfect. I had leftovers since the bowl was a generous portion. My brother ordered their yellow curry with chicken, mild spice, and liked it. Excellent service, very friendly and the gal was kind enough to box up our leftovers. Check this spot out! read more

My two weeks spent in the Charleston area and this was easily top 2 favorite places I ate while there. The crispy duck curry I got was some of the best Thai food I have ever had in my life. My girlfriend got khao soi and (while you can't go wrong with Khao soi) once again it was some of the best Thai food I've EVER had. Food came out very quick and service was perfect. Inside isn't huge but has good vibes, I personally loved that they had YouTube videos with high quality camera on traveling within Thailand. I was very intruiged in watching while I was eating and waiting for the food. Very nice touch. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make your way to this place wherever you are staying in Charleston. Have no idea why this place currently gets such good reviews. We know decent Thai food having lived and dined in Asian restaurants in major cities, Boston, NYC, Miami. Have eaten at Jasmine Thai Kitchen and done takeout 4 times. We always thought the portions were small for the price but were pretty happy with the food. Fresh, well prepared, good quality. Last night our experience was awful. We were seated promptly. There was food all over the floor under the table next to us. When we commented, the server explained that kids dining before we got there made a mess. How about sweeping it up? Don't make your customers step in it or have to look at the mess while dining, gross. We shared Pad Kee Mao and Pad Prik Red Snapper. Noodles were drenched in a cloying salty sauce. Soggy, mushy, overcooked. Tiny portion for almost $20. Fish was not fresh most likely frozen. Again overcooked, dry and again WAY too salty. For almost $30 we felt ripped off. The couple dining next to us sent appetizers back because they were cold. Service was okay. Very disappointed. Come on people, if you're going to charge these prices make sure the dining experience is better.This was our favorite Thai place in the area but we won't be back. read more

Family of 8 were looking for some Asian fare in Mt Pleasant, SC and found a lot of the establishments to be closed on a Monday. Luckily we stumbled upon Jasmine Thai and must say it was excellent. The place is a little small but very clean and functional. We were lucky to get a table when we did. It filled up before we even ordered. Food was great. Having had many Thai dishes in my lifetime this place for the low country didn't disappoint. We tried Pad Thai, Pad See Eww, Yellow and Red Curry, Tom Kha, Drunken Noodles, Papaya Salad, and Basil Fried Rice. All smacking! 4 star heat had me sweating and felt hot in the restaurant but it's from the open kitchen which I'll take any day!! Hope you enjoy as we did! read more

I ordered the crab rangoon. They were good. I loved the flavor of the sweet and sour sauce. The cream cheese/crab/wonton ratio was good. The wonton skin fried up sort of hard and crumbly.
