This continues to be our favorite Chinese take out option. Pricing is fair. Food is consistently good. No atmosphere so only do delivery (3rd party) or take out. Favorites include the yummy steamed pork dumplings, pork egg rolls, moo go gai pan, orange chicken w white meat substituted. I'd skip the egg drop soup, chow mei fun, and shrimp dishes. Quick service too. read more

Food is always consistently great here! The people that run the place are always kind and helpful, too. Thank you!

We were out later than expected doing some holiday shopping and wanted some easy takeout on the way home. I forgot that I had been here years ago and ended up calling in a pickup order. We had beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, some steamed dumplings, and an order of crab rangoon. I will say that not all run of the mill Chinese takeout spots are created equal and this one sits on the higher end of the scale. The food was great and the price was very fair. I did wait a little longer than quoted to pickup my food, but it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely order from here again. read more

My wife and I had a tough workout at Planet Fitness, and we were starving. PF is in the same parking lot as the Banboo Garden Restaurant. The restaurant is rather small, with only 4 tables if you choose to eat in. From what I saw while I was there is that the majority of their business is take-out. The atmosphere was a little noisy, with employees of the restaurant speaking loudly/yelling back and forth. Also, I saw that the tables were not being wiped down in between customers. I had to whipe off my own table with napkins provided by the cashier. As to the food, we had chicken with vegetables and egg drop soup. Portions were large enough for my wife and I to share the chicken with vegetables. Both the main dish and the soup were very tasty. The food is good but I would recommend take-out instead of eating in. If you're looking for carry out, the food is exceptionally good but the experience of eating in the restaurant was not so good. read more

Third time there and it's been disappointing every time. My Sezchuan chicken looked like they just dumped the bottom of a jar of sauce on top. Gross! As I walked out every dirty table had full plates of food left that looked like a disgusting orange chicken meatball! Never again read more

We've been looking for a quick chinese takeout spot since we moved down from the northeast. This was definitely a good option for the price! Big portions and quick service. read more

Overall: A solid Chinese take-out spot! The good: Everything you'd expect from "Americanized" chinese takeout. So many options, reasonable prices, and generous portion sizes. Food is hot and tastes great. The pork fried rice stands out in particular, as do the egg rolls. Service was friendly and quick with the order. The not-so-good: No notifications for when your order is ready for pickup, so we just had to kind of guess. Website experience could be better. read more

While Bamboo Garden may not look like much, at this price point, you're in for some solid Chinese. We securely ordered at the window (similar to a NY bodega) and waited outside for our order. We appreciate and applaud BG's covid protocol(s) commitment. The sesame chicken was classically prepared and had just the right amount of flavor. The cashew chicken, rangoons, and egg rolls are exactly what you'd expect from both their descriptions and pictures. The buffalo wings were small and too greasy. We're unsure why we ordered wings because we've had this issue with Chinese wing preparation methods before. Most importantly, our order was 100% accurate. Take out and delivery has been inconsistent (understatement) the last two years and we were THRILLED when we got home to find our EXACT order prepared and precisely packaged. Our only feedback would be to create a better "order ready" notification system for those who wait. We were outside, masked up, and our order sat around for at least an extra ten minutes until we thought to check on it. Employees were walking in and out of the main doorway the entire time we were waiting. While disappointed, we understood that BG was busy and perhaps lost track of us in the shuffle. Again, solid Chinese choice for when you have those (like we all do) Chinese cravings. BG will get your order right! read more

We ate there this past Sunday night. We ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables and garlic sauce over white rice. It was delicious. The sauce was one of the best we have had. The portion size was very generous. The next time we are visiting the area we will be sure to go back. read more

The food was authentic Chinese. We were welcomed and the staff was very accommodating to one of our party that was very picky about their order. The look of the restaurant was tasteful traditional. An excellent experience for our family. read more

My husband and I visited Bamboo Garden after a tough workout at Planet Fitness in Mt. Pleasant. The restaurant is located in the same plaza with plenty of parking. The eat-in area is VERY small. I didn't call it a dining room because it's not. They only have about 2 small tables and a few chairs thrown around for carry out customers. We ordered at the front counter. It's all business with no exchange of pleasantries. You have an open view to the kitchen, which wasn't appealing for me. We both ordered chicken with Chinese vegetables and egg drop soup. Even though we ordered to eat in the food, it was served in plastic containers with plastic silverware. The food was good and priced competitively with other Chinese food carry out places. I wouldn't recommend eating in. The kitchen staff was extremely noisy, and there was a poor dining experience with the noise and sitting right next to people waiting for their carryout. My husband had to wipe off the table before we sat down. No customer service. This is a carry out business, and if you are looking for that, then you should be ok. read more

I just moved to Mount Pleasant and I think this will be my go-to Chinese takeout spot! The food is really amazing, the prices are good for the portions, and they're pretty fast with your order. But seriously the Mongolian beef is really on point and their rice smells so good you'll want to dig in on the way home! P.s. the phone number listed here is for the other location so the menu is a little off too. Just double check before placing your order! read more

Horrible service and disgusting food. Do not order the chow mein or literally anything from here

We love Bamboo Garden! I'd date to say it's the best Chinese food in Mount Pleasant. Our go to dishes are: 1. Shrimp fried rice 2. Egg rolls 3. Philly cheesesteak egg rolls 4. Veggie Lo mein 4. General Taos Chicken We appreciate that this take out place is quick as hell and affordable, especially given how much food you walk away with. Leftovers are superb. read more

I have been very disappointed in the last two meals I have ordered from here. The first was teriyaki chicken. It was very dry with very little sauce and the fried rice is different (and not as tasty) as what I'm used to. Last night I ordered the Chicken Chow Mei Fun. There was a ton of noodles, very little chicken, and virtually no sauce. I don't know if they have new chefs or what, but the food is not nearly as good as it used to be. I will not be ordering from them again. read more

Cheap-quick and always the best wonton soup. I am probably a snob on egg rolls so they are good - not great. That the 3 star. Every main dish has been great. Always busy with to go orders. Not a big place to eat. read more

They are very fast and serve up really great food. Our go to Chinese restaurant in Mt Pleasant.

Good menu, hot (temp), prompt service, quick,f convenient location, reasonable prices

Great fried pork rice and love that you can choose the spice level on the General Tsos. Egg rolls are awesome too!

We recently relocated to the area, we tried out one Chinese restaurant which resulted in extreme disappointment... we came across bamboo garden, WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER. better than the Chinese food we had in Jersey. Love it read more

I was so upset to find there was no rice in my take out bag when I got home. When I called they didn't offer to do anything and when I pressed they said they would give me a free rice next time. As solid a Chinese take out as you'll find. The food is always fast, hot, and accurate. They crank them out quickly and get the line moving fast to keep it a true carry out experience. A lot of their items they actually prep themselves ( the creamcheeses wontons in particular). They are efficient and do it with a nice attitude and a smile! I usually call as I leave my house and it's usually ready by the time I arrive (7-8 minutes). They'll also cater to your level of spiciness! read more

Great place, awesome food, good prices and fast service. Good variety of wings and really good mushy.

I always thought Chinese takeout places were all the same...UNTIL the time I had burnt flavored egg drop soup at some other Mt.P spot and spent over a month living in Dallas, TX where Chinese takeout in plastic containers was evidently non-existent (I would never move there on that reason alone). No, I'm serious. Luckily, Bamboo Garden is a solid place. It's about what you'd expect for this type of restaurant, consistent, quick...I always get egg drop soup and tofu with mixed vegetables. No complaints. I also like the moo shu vegetables (thank you BG for not making your pancakes so ridiculously thin that they hold nothing) and shrimp with broccoli. Don't forget extra chopsticks for leftovers! read more

BAMBOO GARDEN is the best Chinese food I've had at this price point! We go here every Friday- Chinese Friday and I have tried almost everything on the menu. Excellent lunch specials under $6. Generous portions. Best Chicken Lo Mein & Crab Rangoons. Don't like Chinese food? Their chicken wings rock! The only things I've had that I didn't Carr for was: Shrimp w/lobster sauce, Shrimp Toast & the BBQ beef skewers. The chicken skewers are plump & not quite fried, but not steamed either-hard to describe their deliciousness. Quick. Delish. Easy on the Wallet! read more

This is the best Chinese food in town. We have been going here for years. We moved 20 minutes away and will always make the trek here if we are craving Chinese. They are pretty consistent and never disappoint. read more

We called our order ahead, and we live about 5 minutes away. I intended to write this review while I was waiting for my food to be prepared, since we get carry-out from here all the time, but they did it again-- everything was ready before I even opened the app, so now I'm sitting in the car in their parking lot. If you'll excuse me, I have to get home. My delicious, affordable shrimp and broccoli combo and steak and peppers combo are getting cold. read more
