Service was great! Food was amazing! The flavors were magnificent and to die for! The goat was cooked fall of the bone and the chicken was delightful. Highly recommend!

Chicken Tikka Masala
Meghana J.

Jasa Kabob always hits the spot when you want a quick take out option that can make you feel warm and cozy instantly. We got the lamb kabob platter and the chicken tikka masala platter, and for a place that's not Indian, the tikka masala was so delicious! The only downfall is that the place is a little hard to locate in canton, and is not the nicest place to sit down and eat, but I really enjoyed it anyways!

Chicken Biryani Delivery - flavorful!
Insia Z.

I'm Pakistani and was missing my mom's food so got some chicken biryani and daal delivery. It came super speedily which I appreciated. The biryani was super flavorful (unlike other area biryanis I have tried), and had a lot of chicken--it exceeded expectations! It was a tad bit on the salty side, but with raita (yogurt) it would probably be good (I just don't like yogurt). I got a side of daal (lentils) to meet my order minimum and it wasn't the best daal of my life, but it also wasn't the worst--it was kind of nostalgic (I haven't had daal in a while). Overall, it obviously didn't meet my mom's food quality, but it hit the spot. Would order again--I want to try the karahis.

Chicken tikka masala special with double saag paneer
Den F.

Love this place. One entree lasts me 2-3 meals! They have rotating meat and veggie specials that come with rice, two sides, and naan. Pro tip - you can actually sub the veggie of the day for the sides! Some of my favorite dishes from here are the saag paneer, roasted eggplant, chicken tikka masala and chicken beryani. The chicken beryani is pretty spicy even when ordered medium. It's served with some yogurt sauce, a lemon wedge and a grilled tomato. There is a good amount of chicken within the dish and this is what usually lasts me 3 meals. The chicken tikka masala has that sweet tomato sauce with it that goes delicious with the naan. Saag paneer is also flavorful and has a bit of spice to it also. All of the dishes are quite heavy though so I feel really sluggish afterwards. We usually call ahead and pick up. The staff here are friendly and the orders are ready pretty quickly.

I noted with some amusement that they sent new staff to serve me, and I figure that's fine, I'm closing in on 5000 Yelp reviews, I'm a veteran at this. I ordered slightly unconventionally, getting a spread of dumplings and a side of dal with some bread. The momos were delightful in texture. They way the were served with sauce in between them rather than on the side was a little unconventional, but the end result worked well. My dal was richly flavored, with a fresh tadka clearly evident on top. The bread wasn't quite enough to mop up the whole thing, but I don't mind just eating straight lentils from time to time with a spoon, so ultimately this meal was a winner. I would be more than happy to return.

Was this the greatest Indian meal ever? Absolutely not. Was it decent? Let's call it a…read moreparticipation trophy. As a solo diner, I was promptly seated, which was a great start. The restaurant was more than half empty, so I figured I'd be in and out like you expect at a downtown restaurant when you're dining alone. Well, that was wishful thinking. The service was slow as hell. It took forever for the shrimp to arrive, and then, when I was ready to leave, the check apparently needed to complete a spiritual journey before reaching my table. Empty tables everywhere, but somehow time stood still. I ordered the tandoori shrimp, which came with rice and tikka masala sauce, along with a mango lassi. Dinner sorted, right? Well, sort of. $25 for five pieces of shrimp felt like I had personally sponsored the shrimp's retirement fund. And the tikka masala sauce? So bland, I'm pretty sure the spices were still waiting for their flight to arrive. Naturally, I needed more protein, so I ordered the tandoori chicken. It was, once again, pretty mid. I asked for medium spice and received a level of heat that made me question my life choices. Medium should not feel like a personal attack on your taste buds. The chicken also had burnt edges, adding a little charcoal garnish to the experience. And here's the real kicker: despite serving chicken spicy enough to make me see my ancestors, my water glass was never refilled. Not once. Apparently, hydration was an optional upgrade. I skipped the rice and tikka masala gravy with the chicken because, honestly, I had already given that relationship a chance. By the end, I had spent around $50 before tip for a very mediocre dinner. That's not a meal. That's a small financial setback with a mango lassi. The location is convenient, though. I was staying at the Waterfront Hotel, and it was just a short walk away, which was probably the highlight of the evening. And to the restaurant: folks, please do better. Winning awards and putting up posters is great, but a wall full of trophies doesn't automatically make the food top of the line. The food has to do some of the heavy lifting too. This meal was pretty far from top of the line. And if you're looking for a quick, reasonably priced downtown dinner, be prepared to bring some patience, your own water bottle, and possibly a fire extinguisher. You might finish your meal before the check even begins its journey.

A nice change from chains and carry out restaurants. Food is on point. We had chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, bhindi masala and garlic naan. Very good seasoning overall and the tikka masala had the right amount cream. Flavors were well developed and savory. Quantities of protein were good yet still plenty of sauce for naan dipping. Spice levels were a little mild compared to many Indian restaurants I have tried so I would recommend ordering one spice level up. The restaurant offers alcoholic drinks and has a decent wine selection. Prices are very competitive. We were very happy with our meal and overall experience. I would definitely recommend Tandav to you with high marks across the board. Cheers!

We started with two appetizers--the fried tofu and vegetable rolls--which arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and packed with authentic taste. We were genuinely blown away by both the quality of the cuisine and the exceptional service. The service here is incredibly fast and attentive. We barely had to wait at all before our table was filled with fresh, steaming dishes. The food is where this place truly shines. Everything we ordered was packed with vibrant, well-balanced spices. Appetizers: We started with a perfectly crispy fried pakora/fritter served with sweet and tangy dipping sauces which set a high bar for the rest of the meal. The Momos: You absolutely cannot leave without trying their momos. They are perfectly doughy, juicy, and paired with an addictive orange chutney. We couldn't get enough of them. Between the spiced chicken, seasoned potatoes, savory chickpea mixture, and beaten rice, every single component on the plate was an absolute hit.
