BEST PLACE TO STOP AFTER A DAY AT THE BEACH. been coming here for years and they never disappoint. the food just hits after the beach. my favorite things are the cheese of a stick ( american ) chilie cheese fries and the corn dogs. their lemonade is so good as well.

When you're drunk af and want a light snack you really can't go wrong with any of the food here . Always get the corn dog or frozen bananas!

There is nostalgia in this space. Jane's has been a family staple since...forever...and I'm over 50 :) Today I got some bad news...and Jane's Corn dogs at Newport Pier was just what I needed to go back to better days and smile. Delicious corn dogs and tart & cold lemonade. Thanks for always being here Jane

This place is a relic from the past and it's positively adorable! I was craving a chocolate covered banana and they have so many fattening treats here! If you want to eat healthy, they have popcorn! I'm sure it's more fun in the summertime. It's super cool and retro.

I crave Jane's chili fries and it always hits the spot so yummy! 10/10. Id try other food on the menu next time I'm in the area

Not worth $5 for a microwave corn dog. Also, the discrimination was sickening. For one, there were no signs saying cash only. And we noticed people prior to and after us paying with card/tap. they clearly have a debit machine that says they take square, both at the register and outside in the door. but after we ordered, after we got our food, for us, the cashier said cash only. We had to go to the ATM outside to get cash out. When asked why the people before us paid with their card, he said "no, for YOU, cash". & continued to ignore our questions for his reasoning. Not sure what his reason was to single us out, but that mixed with the terrible customer service. For food that was not worth it. Would not spend my money here again.

If you don't want to wait for that long line across the street for a ham and cheese croissant, then you should go to Jane's Corndog. The corn dogs and cheese sticks are amazing and always prepared on order.

This place is the bomb! Located at the Newport Beach Pier right next to the chili restaurant. You can park and pay for parking or park somewhere else and walk down. They have a variety of snacks and small foods here: ice cream, frozen banana, corn dogs, hot dogs, fries, etc. The corndogs cost $5 for one and I paid cash. No tax was added while paying cash so that was great. You can find a ketchup and mustard dispenser along side the window with some napkins. They make the corndogs fresh and they're really good! I would definitely come back to try their other treats. They accept card, unsure about apple pay, but cash seems to be the way to go if you want to avoid the tax.

The plus side this time around is that they have a completely covered area to eat your food. Picnic benches are laid out with a full awning. Parking is still great. Services dependent on what vendor you buy your food from some will accommodate the request and others will not. Of course if there's no accommodation to the customer, they've lost my business.

[Parking]: $15 per vehicle for on-site parking just to enter the OC Fair & Event Center. [Admission]: Our party purchased the same-day tickets and paid a $16 per person entry fee. [What to expect]: The market was approximately half food vendors and half arts / crafts / gift vendors. There were solid craft and gift vendors, but not too many art vendors. The food was extremely overpriced ... a simple appetizer = at least $15+ & a filling meal = at least $25. The only real positive? There was a mahjong area that offered free lessons. The performance stage was alright. [Food]: Our party ended up getting only 6 pieces of soup dumplings (aka XLB) from Dumpling Dream for $14 and a cup of gelatea from Boutcha for $7.20 (one of the most affordable and best item to get at the market). [Conclusion]: If I ever come back to 626 Night Market, I would probably stick with the Arcadia location as parking is free and the admission fee is slightly cheaper. I am still having a hard time digesting the fact that getting into the market cost $30+ before even buying any food if I come here alone and I would also need to spend another $25+ just to feel like I had eaten a legit meal. I am good with this one-and-done visit.

Such a disappointment!!…read more I have been a fan of both Jacks and Dwight's for almost 50 years. Because Dwight's is still closed I stopped by here a few weeks ago craving "Strips & Cheese" The girl at the counter told me they were out of cheese. WHAT!! That's a first for me! OK so not cheese so I guess no Strips and Cheese! The girl at the counter was clueless, I even asked her if the owner was in and she said no, then I asked if the owner was aware that they didn't have any cheese because I have met the owner several times and I know that he would fix this situation right away. The girl at the counter just shrugged her shoulders and said nothing. Yesterday, the wife and kids went to the beach and again we stoped in for some strips. There was no line to order but there were 5 or 6 unhappy people waiting for their food. 25 minutes later we got our food while we watched a girl texting on her phone while food sat under the heat lamps. I asked the girl for an extra strips sauce and some BBQ sauce for my kids chicken fingers. The girl brought me a cup of salsa, like she filled up a Coca-Cola cup to the rim with the dipping sauce and then said they were out of barbecue sauce and all they had left was one side of ranch. Me and another customer looked at each other and then started talking about how bad the service. That other customer told me that Jack's lost their lease and that this was the last summer that this place was going to be here. I asked the employee about it and she confirmed it. It's kinda like this place it's just going downhill because why offer good service when the restaurants is closing in a few weeks. The whole situation was very sad because I remember old man Dwight, his son Jack who is now I think 90 years old is someone I've known since I was literally like five years old and then watching his son and his grandson run this particular store and now watching it fall apart again makes me kind of sad . What a mess !

Although a tasty rice bowl, there are other places in the area serving a similar dish at probably better pricing. It's more likely a place to stop by if you're shopping at Mitsuwa and want to pick up food afterward.

The order process was pretty simple -- I responded to their Instagram story and they reached out with follow-up questions, menu options, and pickup details. The pickup was from a home residence in the city of Garden Grove (off of Brookhurst Street and Hazard Avenue), nearby Pho 79 if you're familiar with the area. The exact address is provided with your order! The owner, Aamir, was very friendly and professional when I picked up my food and the burgers were packaged very neatly in separate boxes. I ordered two smash burgers that included three patties each, which cost $15 per burger. They included caramelized onions and jalapenos, which were a delightful surprise. The patties were a little salty, but upon reading the other reviews, I see that the owner pre-marinates the patty meat. The prices were also steep for just the burger, and I thought my order would come with fries on the side, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food. All in all, I would return for future orders and would love to see them open a brick-and-mortar restaurant someday, ideally in Garden Grove still. 10/10 rating and five stars all around for a seamless ordering experience, delicious food, and timeless customer service.

The owner is super responsive, and you can tell he wants to provide the best service possible. During this special pop-up event, they were serving two's a tango that features their warm brioche bun along with two halal patties smashed with cheese and carmelized onions on top. The burger itself was massive, with one being more than enough to feed a hungry person. After talking to the owner, he mentioned he pre-marinates his meat, so that could be the reason why the taste was a little salty for us. The sauce is awesome and complimentary, so when ordering, if you don't plan on eating the burger right away, to prevent sogginess, ask for extra on the side. I know some people prefer the meatiness, but I am a sauce type of girl. Overall, the flavors of the burger meshed well! Thank you for adding another place for halal goodness. I'm hoping you guys do well and keep quality up.
