I hired David from Passion for The Pie for my children's birthday party, and I honestly could not recommend him more! From the very beginning, David was so easy to work with. Communication was excellent, and a few days before the party he reached out directly to coordinate with the venue. That made everything so much easier and gave me one less thing to worry about on the day of the event. Our party was from 9 AM-12 PM, and David arrived before I even got there and was completely set up and ready to go. He brought his own full setup, including tables, plates, a pop-up tent for shade, and a great team to help everything run smoothly. We had around 120 guests, and everyone LOVED the pizza. Our package included two regular pizzas (cheese and pepperoni) and two specialty pizzas, and we chose BBQ chicken and Hawaiian. Everything was fresh and delicious. At one point, David even walked around with a freshly made pepperoni and jalapeño pizza that he made on the spot without us even asking. Our guests loved it! One thing that really stood out to me was how accommodating David was. I mentioned that we had a guest with a dairy allergy, and without hesitation, he made a fresh cheeseless pizza specifically for them. That level of attentiveness really impressed me and meant a lot as the host. He also offers different pricing options for adults and children, along with gluten-free dough, which is really helpful when you're feeding a large group with different dietary needs. Beyond the food, David is just genuinely great to work with. He is responsive, professional, organized, flexible, and clearly takes pride in what he does. He really goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Our guests were still talking about how good the pizza was after the party! They responded quickly to my initial inquiry, answered all my questions promptly and set and served the pizzas on time. I really appreciated the per person cost which made it easy to calculate. There plenty of slices for everyone and a few extras. Extra touches included adding in an extra pizza selection and preparing a pizza especially for a guest who couldn't eat cheese. I hired Passion for the Pie for my baby shower last week in the middle of an unexpected storm, and they were incredible. From the start, David was quick to reply, patient with all my questions, and very generous about working within my budget. He never made me feel like a bother, even when I texted him multiple times while planning. Booking was simple, receipts were sent right away, and I appreciated that full payment was due 10 days before the event - one less thing to think about on the day. I was anxious about the weather, but they came fully prepared. Even though it was pouring, they showed up cheerful, brought their own pop-up tent, and even had a generator on hand. Thank goodness, because we lost power for about 30 minutes during the event, and they handled it professionally and in good spirits. They arrived a little earlier than scheduled and had everything ready to serve by 2pm. Guests had nothing but positive things to say. The team was friendly and fast, and they fed all 95+ of our guests with plenty left over. They even offered a menu item we didn't order, and people loved it. And the pizza... so good! I'm picky, and even the pickiest people I know were complimenting it. I also liked that they offer different crust options. We didn't end up needing the allergy-friendly option that day, but David had already assured me they could make a dairy-free pizza if needed, which gave me peace of mind. They do provide pizza boxes for leftovers, which is great, but next time I'll ask them not to box everything right away and to just plate it instead. My family tends to swoop in on leftovers, and the pizzas disappeared within minutes while some guests hadn't eaten yet. Not their fault at all, just a tip if you have a (savage) family like mine. It's clear that David and his team care about their work and their customers. I'll absolutely recommend them and look forward to hiring them again. Five stars. They both had great demeanor especially for making pizza in 90 degree weather! They made sure the pizza kept coming out and guests weren't waiting for food to be prepared.
