Honestly the nicest people run this place. They're really great about personal requests and are so kind. They use the freshest fruit! Coconut is not rock hard and dry like some other other places. Came to the Fruit Me Truck today and I must say some things have changed. Mostly their outlandish new prices. I got a tray. Typically a tray with various fruit is $10. Well I mostly wanted mangos with some kiwis. This ended up being $14 and I was told that for a mango tray it's $12 (yet it was not listed anywhere on the truck). I knew I would pay extra for kiwis because the up-charge was listed. I expected to pay about $12. Total was: $15 (with tip, I always tip!) The tray was delicious and fresh BUT overpriced. It looks like they have competition directly across the street: Fresh Fruit La More! (See photo attached) I think I'll try them out next time! ------ Update 5/1/24: I went to visit Fresh Fruit La More and the lovely Adriana was so kind. What I paid at Fruit Me is equivalent to a LARGE tray with Fresh Fruit La More!!! In closing: I understand Fruit Me has to make a living and they have to pay for the fruit but that price for only (2) kinds of fruit didn't sit well with me... Best wishes to the Fruit Me Truck. Whenever I need my fresh fruit fix, I know exactly where to go. This truck is always at its location, ready to provide delicious fruits. I normally get the medium fruit tray with pineapple, watermelon, coconut and mango. I always get the seasonings and lime on the side. I enjoy the simple taste of the fruits. It's around $8. It's a good portion. I finish it all with no leftovers. I would have given this place a 5 but sometimes the cuts aren't consistent. There are times where the service isn't as great. I just ordered a medium tray last week and I didn't get a bag. I had to hold everything together. It was just strand. It's still my go-to, I highly recommend this place. I've always seen this fruit truck when I go to Ross but I never stopped. Today however since I'm pregnant and it was super hot I decided to stop after Ross. I ordered a sunny mango which was $10 not a bad price. The mango Icecream was rich but lacked natural flavor it taste more artificial however the taste isn't why I'm giving a 1 star! The stick that holds the mango up on top of the icecream was full of mold. Absolutely unacceptable, the fruit cart people are cleaner. It blows my mind why anyone in the food industry would poke through mango and into the icecream with a stick full of mold. I was the only person waiting for my item so it's not like they were busy and simply missed it. Because of nasty people like the person who prepped my item is why most people look down on food vendors. Do better cochinos. read more

While doing a delivery we stopped at fruit Me and let me just tell you they have so much variety of things to choose from it's hard to just choose one. But I went with the Tostilocos in a bag I got it with everything this was my first time getting one that came with mango and coconut pieces. Everything was fresh the Chamoy was one I have never had before very tasty a little kick with some sweetness to mellow it all out. Jose was the one who helped me out very nice and helpful I will definitely be returning back to get another bag of Tostilocos and this time a Agua Fresca. First time here . been having this truck bookmarked for over a year now . the customer service was great , no debit card or Apple Pay, b it they have cashapp and Venmo so that was cool . the sunny mango drink was 5/5 ! the fruit plate was good , everything was sweet except the watermelon and I got some of the rough parts of the cantaloupe and some of the core of the pineapple , but overall still good 4/5 on the plate . I have seen this truck several times but never had the time to stop, finally today i did. I was looking for Bionicos so needless to say when I saw it on the menu I was happy. I ordered a small which was HUGE for only $6.00. They customied it for me since I needed to leave a couple items out. I found it to be worth the money, the amount you are given for the price is far more than generous. The only thing I wish was different woulda been the sauce, I'm used to the thicker sauce this one was tasty but a little to thin for me but still tasty I'm Just prefer thicker. They used to be one of the best fruit trucks. I will take a drive and order it for parties and all the hospital events but today I came and I want papaya, mango and pineapple. The man in the back made a comment when the man upfront just charged me $10, so I guess he got upset and made my tray with the worst pineapple he could've cut he made sure he cut the bottom hardest piece they had for the whole tray the papaya mango was good. I guess he was upset that I was just paying $10 for the tray, however if he would've told me more, I would've paid more, but I heard the comments in back in Spanish. I don't know if they changed owners or employees, but lately, they're adding old fruit to their trays and bowls. I ordered watermelon, mango, and a little bit of pineapple. They almost filled the bowl with pineapple. Yet, I asked for "a little bit of pineapple" for those who recognize fresh pineapple vs. pineapple that was cut 2-4 day ago, it changes texture and color, and it starts to fermentate. They included a few pieces of watermelon and a few pieces of mango at the top. So what they did was hide a lot of old pineapple at the bottom and add the other fruits on top. This is the 3rd time it has happened with different fruits. If you ask for coconut, they slice it very thin to make it look like a lot. Its definitely not the way they used to cut it. So it's February (you know....not prime tropical fruit season) and I see a fruit truck looking kinda enticing so I pull over. I walk up and I see just about the ripest mango I've ever seen PEAK mango time..just the perfect yellow-orange color. I usually have to ask them if they have ripe mangoes but I already knew. I asked for the price and he showed me the carton sizes. I was really nervous because I didn't know what to expect. The sizes of the cartons were huge so I thought I would pay at least $10. But to my surprise he said "this is six and this is 10" WHAT!?! I didn't know what to do with myself how cheap it was. Usually what they call their 6 dollar size would be at least 8-10 so I thought what the heck let's get it! I ordered mangoes and watermelon with extra extra lime. Not gonna lie, it took forever to get my order. I was kind of upset that it took so long. Usually I'm used to waiting only maybe 5 minutes tops to get my order. But this time I waited almost 15 minutes. I was salty but lemme tell you, they got my order juuuuusttttttt right. My container was leaking with so much lime juice which is exactly how I like it. Usually the fruteria is kind of stingy and they either skimp on the lime or their fruit is too ripe where it's almost mushy. The fruit was perfectly ripe and the flavors were so rich. I'm sure they Musta got it internationally because there is no way there are mangoes in California that are this ripe. If you see this place, do you self a favor and get the LARGEST size you can find. ... and they also have other options like helado and mango sticks as well so you have plenty of options. read more
