Wow this food is so delicious! I tried them at a local soccer match and it is very filling. It also has so many different flavors that will send your taste buds into a happy spiral. They are extremely friendly and very fast! I look forward to trying them again in the future.

Teriyaki chicken bowl without scallions is loaded with quality chicken.

Decided to try their bowls at the District in Tustin farmer's market since everything smelled so good. The chicken teriyaki bowl was large, topped with a lot of chicken that was quality meat. The beef bowl was equally delicious. They took care with our special orders & everything made fresh. Perfect sticky white rice at the bottom of bowls. $14 a bowl is worth it!

Delicious! We forgot to take a photo before we started eating it. Beef is super tender and tasty. Love the sauce they use.

The green onion, pickled ginger, and poached egg, pair amazingly with the tender beef and perfectly cooked rice! Happy to see Chris serve at our company, always making lunch a treat!

Delicious!

Then went with our server's recommendation and got the spicy shrimp wontons, the rib bone soup and the picanha fried rice. Was kind of quiet on the Wednesday night I was there but very cute and casual which was exactly what I was looking for after a long day at work. The Northeast rice wrap is huge and filling, the iron-plate fried instant noodles are not oily or mushy and come with egg and luncheon meat, and the shredded chicken pairs well with rice. The New Orleans-style wings are juicy and well-seasoned without being too salty. Delivery from this place is already a solid 10/10, but the food definitely tastes even better dining in! First thing was way too many noodles that completely absorbed the broth and I said way too many I'm not exaggerating, it was more like a noodle pudding. I just wanted a comforting soup but I guess I'll just have wet noodles instead. The flavor was good which make me feel more positive about this experience, I haven't even make it to half of my soup (not soup) I decided to try the quail eggs, I'm not sure if they already have them boiled or they boil them with the broth but they were bad, they had a really strong unpleasant taste like they were going bad and that taste stayed in my mouth for several minutes, I just kept drinking soda and the uncomfortable feeling then traveled to my throat, the taste was so strong that I just felt pretty much disgusted with the whole soup. I just covered with the lid and throw it away. I'm glad I ordered rice because that was all I ended up eating. Extremely disappointed, I hate being miserable with bad food and wasting away money in a business that seem not to care about how they serve their food. I'm glad I didn't get sick.

Service was excellent too. Shout out Tai? I'm not sure how to spell it. Cute inside with pretty decor but a little small so make sure to put your name down. We went Sunday around 7:30/8pm and there wasn't a wait for party of 4. Pork jowl is a fav of mine and their ssamjjang tastes pretty authentic but definitely had a little twist to it. It was super tender and well marbled. The crispy chicken was also juicy as it was all thigh meat. It reminded me of takoyaki in terms of taste. I wonder if it's because there's bonito flakes in it or something like takoyaki? Scallop pesto pasta was AMAZING. Scallop is my fav seafood and I never had a creamy pesto before. Udon noodles were cooked perfectly. The skirt steak really surprised me. We asked for medium rare and nice never had a skirt steak that tender. The broccolini tasted very charred and smoky (in a good way). It complimented the meat so well. Miso bacon carbonara was a solid choice and we also got that last time. Can't go wrong with it. The wings though were standard fish sauce wings. The slaw was a bit too vinegary or sour for me. Can't wait to come back the next time!

The noodle was super al dente that felt a bit undercook (?). There was barely any bacon and the portion size is so small Vongole: 8/10 the flavor was very good. Lots of seafood in the bowl, but there was barely any noodle. The portion is also very small for it to cost $40 Pork Jowl: 7/10 nothing special. Not much flavor to the meat. The sauce that comes with it tastes like the cocktail sauce that I feel like did not go well with the pork. Overall I would give this place a 7/10. Unfortunately, the filet mignon yakitori was tough (we couldn't chew through it & had to spit it out ) and overcooked. Our server was quick to offer a replacement and unfortunately the 2nd time was still a bust, which at that point seemed more like an issue with the meat they had rather than the cooking itself, so not much they couldve done. Thankfully, the manager (i believe, he was dressed differently than the servers) was kind enough to take it off our bill. Our server also offered a dessert on the house to make up for our experience! We got the black sesame coconut ice cream with sago and it was sooooo good. Of all the noodle dishes, my favorite was the chashu tom kha ramen. holy moly, the flavors were incredible. And for $17?! In this economy?! Can't be beat. The drinks were all great too! Well balanced, refreshing, and unique twist of flavors. Can't wait to go back!

To this day, it's one of our go-to spot to eat or take a shot before shopping at South Coast Plaza. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful & lightly dimmed. Now, let's talk about the food... The award-winning fish tacos are hands down my favorite item on the menu. The crispy pastrami rolls are another must-order. They're unique & delicious. Caesar salad is so good & beautifully plated. We recently tried An's Famous Roasted Crab. While it was good, it wasn't my favorite dish and didn't taste quite as fresh especially for the price. For drinks, if you're a Hennessy lover like I am... I always enjoy starting the meal with a shot. If you're in the mood for something a little more elevated, the Truffle Sidecar is worth trying. The combination of Hennessy, truffle shrub & lemon is well balanced. Make room dessert! It was a lovely atmosphere and in short, we would come back - maybe for regular menu. Reservations for Bia Hoi are 1st Sundays of the month but Peter shared that they may expand to more days as the reception has been so positive! It's $83-ish/person ($65 for the brunch, 20% gratuity- which was added on the receipt, and tax). There's also an option of adding on alcohol (mostly beer) for $25/person. Arriving at 11am, they checked people in and then once servers greeted the table, the table went of grab their food. I will say since it opens at 11am, everyone basically got food at the same time so we stood in line for about 10 mins for the first 2 stations. After that, it was more spread out in terms of crowding of the stations. There's basically 4 stations: dumplings, pho/bun bowl, waffles/souffles/rice & waygu, and prime rib/fish. Keep in mind you get one complimentary drink and there may be a couple items that you need to tell your server to put in an order for (currently biscuit and sea bream fish, if it doesn't change). Best items: hands down the butter fish, sea bream fish, and soufflé/pancake with maple cream; was not a fan of the waygu dumplings (tasted like a cheeseburger and that's not something I personally want in a dumpling). Peter was on the prime rib carving station and he was just so energetic and such a vibe. He came around to tables about an hour or so in and that's how we learned it's his restaurant. Later, as I went in to grab more food, he piled on more of the things I was mentioning in our conversation - just so generous, I felt very welcomed and at home. (Our server and other staff were also very helpful and friendly!) Definitely a wonderful experience and I would like to return!
