Overall, I am thoroughly happy with my bowl.

This Jamba Juice is located in the depressed commercial stretch of the local mall. While attention should be given by the staff and store management to avoid catering to clientele with ghetto attitude that may participate in the decline, filtering and pauperization of the neighborhood, they have instead chosen to condone and endorse such attitude. I picked up an online order at this store and got called "asshole" by one of their store patrons. After confronting the person with such appalling behavior in front of the staff, she admitted proudly that she felt entitled to call me names because I had not held the door for her. The 3 associates seemed unfazed and condoning. While such patriarchal entitlement is within one's right, and while the demeaning and discriminating name calling can be integral to a store's business practices, I personally don't approve of it in any business setting. I requested a refund for my order. Staff refused to process it of course and showed no interest in deviating from any ghetto-friendly business policies. As a general rule, I don't expect people to hold a door for me even though I am disabled and I certainly don't call people names when a door is not held before me. Instead if I feel that an ADA friendly or compliant door opening system is needed or deficient, I write to the business owner about it. That's the rule I ask any staff members of the businesses I owned to go by. This Jamba Juice seems to prefer remaining ignorant of the benefits of such policy or worst, utterly hostile to educating their staff. I will follow up with corporate about the value system the Jamba Juice brand has adopted to make sure my $$$ don't support a company that endorses name calling and/or uneducated staff recruiting. read more

Hit this location quite awhile ago and had the misfortune of encountering an employee with a beard and long hair, let's just call him Jamba Jesus, who had a condescending attitude and was frankly rude and offensive. I asked his opinion on the new drinks and he said, "if you like poisonous sugars and gmos feel free to try any one of them." Love Jamba but will never visit this location. The girl who was filling up smoothies was very rude we got four drinks total and not even one was filled up to the top 3 of them were filled only 2/3 of the whole cup if were going to pay $6 for a smoothie we would want it filled. My husband liked the juice that had cayenne pepper in it, but I am not a fan of spicy juices. Thankfully, I had a coupon, so I paid just over $32 for five bottles and received a cute reusable bag. The juices are a little pricey, and hopefully, the plastic bottles can be recycled easily, but I am sure I will be back to try other flavors. Most of the bottles ranged from 90 to 200 calories each. The staff was super busy but still very friendly and took time to answer customer questions.

I recently stopped by your South Elgin location, and I'd like to share a few concerns. First and foremost, as a business owner, I believe customers should receive the exact change they are owed. Please don't tell customers that there are no pennies and simply round the change down. If you are unable to provide exact change, the customer should not be the one losing money. At the very least, the amount should be rounded in the customer's favor. Better yet, make sure the register has the necessary change to give customers the correct amount. Second, when I place an order and am told that there is no tapioca, it's extremely frustrating. If a particular ingredient is essential to the products you advertise and serve, it seems reasonable to expect that you would have adequate inventory to meet customer demand. Finally, please address the condition of the bathroom. It was unpleasantly smelly and did not feel clean or presentable. I also noticed what appeared to be gang-related markings on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom is part of the customer experience, and its condition can leave a lasting impression about the overall cleanliness and management of a restaurant. I'm sharing this because I have a history with Coffee Haus and genuinely want to see the business maintain the quality and reputation that made customers like me keep coming back.
